I highly recommend Todd Roberts and his son, Ben. I called this morning for help with a leak under the kitchen sink. I had replaced the ceramic valve in the faucet successfully in the past but now it needed a new hose. I had the part and hoped to fix it myself. That was my plan until I realized my garbage disposal was leaking too. Based on the great reviews, I called Todd. I explained the situation and that I was leaving town tomorrow. Even though Todd was booked for today he squeezed me into his schedule. He and his son, Ben, showed up on time and went right to work. Quickly and efficiently my faucet was fixed and the disposal replaced. Then I remembered the dishwasher smell that according to web searches was due to improper installation of the hoses. I mentioned it to Todd and in less than two minutes that was fixed too. These guys are great. They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, easy to work with and are the type of people you want to have in your home - warm, friendly, and neighborly. Their charges were extremely (suprisingly) reasonable. And, after seeing the work required, the knowledge and tools needed I will call Todd and Ben. There is no way I could have installed that faucet hose. What was I thinking!?! If you need a great plumber, I highly recommend Todd and Ben Roberts!

Todd and his son have been so helpful since we have moved into our old/new home here in Alameda. It's hard to find someone local who is trustworthy, with fair prices, and who will actually pick up the phone or call back in a timely manner. They have been available within a few hours or days of our requests. Todd has helped us install sinks, dissemble sinks, and problem solve our shower leaks at a fraction of the cost other companies wanted to charge us. They are extremely friendly and just happy to help kind of guys. I highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Todd and Ben are as good as it gets. I reached out after seeing tons of positive reviews and they were at my house the following morning getting our tankless water heater and dishwasher plumbing up to code. They were readily available, fairly priced, showed up on time every time, and were just all around good guys to work with. I have 100% trust in their work. As I'm typing this, they're here helping out with some other plumbing issues we're working on with our washing machine. I definitely won't be looking elsewhere any time we have plumbing needs.

OMG...I need 10 stars. I came home Saturday evening after a week vacation to find my water heater leaking. I called another plumber first , who I had used before, but their answering service could barely write down the information. I went to Yelp and saw all the great reviews for Todd. I could not figure how to turn off the water heater, I know I won't make that mistake again, and though Todd does not work weekends, he came right over to give me a hand. He turned off the water and came back the next morning to replace the water heater. He is extremely professional; responsive; does what he says; and delivers a quality service. I could not be more thankful!

What a delightful experience! So - I called Todd to take care of a whistling pipe and previously got a quote from a different company for $700 (really?), saying the water pressure regulator would need to get replaced. To save on cost for shopping, I got the parts and wanted Todd to put them in. Todd looked at the old regulator, took a wrench to it and fixed the whistling in a minute. The guy from the other company didn't even touch it. In addition, Todd and his son were on time, even early, super nice and seemed very knowledgable. And - may I say - they had a nice and clean truck (somehow that expresses that they really care about their business to me).
I know - this wasn't a ""real"" job allowing me to judge their full scope of work but I can certainly say - if I need a plumber for something ""real"", I will certainly call them first. I appreciate their honesty and straightforwardness.

Really great guys! We needed a whole-house water filtration system installed (we bought it from Costco ourselves). It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish.

1. Scheduling
- They were quick to come out and take an assessment and gave us a quote.
- For the actual installation, they were able to get us on their calendar even earlier than originally planned. Worked out great for us, since we wanted the water filtration up and running sooner than later.

2.Pricing
- Their pricing was hundreds of dollars lower than a similar company (we got a few quotes before deciding)
- This was for installation-only. We picked up our own parts.
- For the installation, they requested a few cement boards to use as a base/platform for the water filter, which my husband picked up beforehand. We prefer this, so we can pick up what we want at prices that work for us.

3. Service
- This is a father-and-son team. They were very quick and got everything done in 2.5 hours.
- We did a walk-through when the job was done: They made sure all faucets and water were running smoothly. Plus, we went under the house to see the installed filters. Their work is neat and organized (including a by-pass valve, per my husband's request). They also added straps and 2x4's to ensure the unit was secure.

I highly recommend them!

Todd has been professional and great! We called him for a leaky toilet and he and his son set us up with an appointment right away. They changed the part that they thought was the cause. We had no issues for a couple of weeks, but the leak started again. I called him and he came out to check on it for us exactly when we requested. After reassessing, he replaced another part for us but didn't charge us for the visit or the part. He was very thoughtful and has great customer service! He's really easy to talk to and explains things very well. Both my husband and I really appreciated his help. I like that they answer their phones and are on time to appointments! We definitely highly recommend their services =)

The Introduction: I called TA Roberts after being overcharged and underserved by another national company, when a leak was found in the house. Todd and Ben are AWESOME!!!! They were able to come out within the hour, and give me a quote that was almost half what the other guy quoted. Todd made recommendations and was flexible in scheduling an appointment with my crazy schedule.

The work: Todd and Ben showed up on time and ready to work. Todd was great about pointing out a long-standing issue; and proceeded to do the work. They took great care of my home, and cleaned the damage that had been done by the original leak.

The Aftermath: The work looked great! Todd explained what was done, walked the site with me to ensure I could review job, and answered all the questions I had.

After mentioning that the water pressure in the bathroom was nil; Ben looked at it, and had it back to normal in a few minutes.

Best of all the total bill was less than quoted!

I am thrilled to have found TA Roberts Plumbing, it's a relief to have found an honest plumber I can rely on.
