Todd is extremely knowledgeable about plumbing repair and preventative maintenance. Not only did he find the cause of our low water pressure he also showed me how to perform some regular maintenance on our hot water heater to extend its life and prevent more problems in the future. He came same day and was early to the appointment. I would strongly recommend Todd to anyone and I'm sure that I will use his services again in the future.

Todd is an incredible plumber to have around town!! If you ever have any plumbing issues, he'll make sure to fix it for you. I'm glad he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule the next day, and also grateful he had such a great and positive attitude!! Definitely an awesome person to do business with.

Todd just made my day. We have a 1942 home with original pipes. The kitchen water pressure is miserable and after three months in the home I couldn't take it anymore, even though I knew we couldn't afford to replace all the pipes. I called Rescue Rooter and they came out, refused to even examine the pipes under the kitchen sink, and said that we needed to replace the houses' pipes and water line for $8500!!! Yes that's 8 thousand 5 hundred dollars!!! . Uh....NO!!! So I read yelp and Todd's reviews were almost too good to be true. But last night I learned it is true. Todd spent a little less than an hour tinkering with our sink, chatting me up, and patiently answering the 1000 questions from my 4 year old. And instead of $8500 to replace all of the pipes, Todd charged me $55 and my sink now flows like Niagara. Yippeee! I am so glad to have found him. A lot of reviewers mentioned how nice Todd was. He's one of those great salt of the earth folks who loves and knows what he's doing. My daughter asked him a question about every ten seconds and when I told her to let him concentrate, he said it was fine and happily answered each questions while working away. My daughter said Todd was really cool and I agree. All of our future plumbing projects are going straight to Todd. He says he'll retire in 5 years so we've got to plan accordingly.

Perplexed at the 1 star review. We don't understand why Todd would get a 1 star review, it makes no sense whatsoever. This is not the Todd that we know AT ALL. Wondering the validity of this review? He is Super communicative and a Super Plumber!

Previous reviews are right on the money! Just called for help with a water heater that was producing nice cold water. Todd was quick to respond, came out as quickly as possible (same day), and not only fixed the problem but inspected the unit and let me know how much service life it probably has left.

Best of all - he didn't laugh about the problem, which turned out to be: switch gas setting from ""pilot"" to ""on."" Operator error!

I'll be calling Todd again when I have water heater problems...but I'll check the gas switch first.

Flakey. Refused to give a written estimate of work to be completed, then stopped returning phone calls. Forced us to go elsewhere and waste time in a deadline situation. This review does not directly speak to the quality of work, as he declined our job by no longer communicating with us.

Great Job ! This is the second time I have called for 2 different plumbing leaks. Both times they were here the same day and fixed our leaks fast. Todd is very professional, prompt and friendly. I have used several different plumbers for various issues in the past and TA is by far the best. I highly recommend them !!

Our sump pump stopped working and subsequently our basement flooded and we didn't know what to do, so my wife looked on Yelp and found TA Roberts Plumbing.

We called at 7:35 am because business hours were listed as 7:30am to 5:30 - we immediately got an answer and within less than an hour Todd was at our place pumping out the water from our basement. He replaced the sump pump and discovered that it was actually our hot water heater that was leaking water. The old heater needed to be replaced and Todd did it on the spot. In less than 5 total hours he had completely drained the water (8 inches standing), installed a new sump pump and water heater and removed the disposed of the old heater.

I couldn't be happier with Todd's service, he's really great. Todd is an uber professional, super friendly and a genuinely good person. If you ever have any plumbing needs, don't hesitate to call TA Roberts.

Todd provides excellent customer care. He is the owner of TA Roberts Plumbing Company, a local Alameda company. He really knows how to make his customers happy. My washing machine door malfunctioned the same day as our water heater and we could not wash clothes or take hot showers. While giving us a free estimate to replace our water heater, Todd kindly solved a difficult mechanical problem with our washing machine door and fixed it. He came out on a Saturday within 20 minutes of my call. Thank you Todd for being one of those good guys out there. He's smart, generous, and a ""give back"" kind of person.

I highly recommend Todd Roberts. He is quick, friendly, helpful, and reasonable. He returned my call within minutes, was in the area, and offered to come over. In less than 15 minutes, he had fixed my garbage disposal, checked to see if it was allowing the dishwasher water to drain properly, showed us the re-set button, and advised us on how to maintain the disposal with ice cubes and a cleaning product to buy. We are very pleased with his services.
