Todd deserves the five star rating he has on Yelp. We needed a new hot water heater, and I called him and a few other options (including Home Depot's delivery and install service) Wednesday night. He was price-competitive, extremely responsive, and full of good advice for how to replace it and what I should do for maintenance. He then showed up promptly when he said he would on Friday afternoon, new heater in tow, and installed it and new connection piping as needed. No complaints, and I'm saving his business card for next time I have a plumbing issue.

Once again, Todd saves the day!
11:30 at night I go to brush my teeth and when I turned on the old one handle faucet i heard a snap... and now the handle is useless and the water will not turn off..... See what happens when you brush your teeth twice a day!!!!
Long story short, I had to turn the water off under the sink...Then I looked at the faucet and realized I was not going to be able to replace this myself. I called Todd at 7:30 am and he fit me in THAT DAY. I left work early, went to Home Depot and got a nice new faucet!
Todd arrived and within an hour had it replaced! All cleaned up and ready to go.
Todd is fast, fair and by far the best plumber in Alameda!
I am redoing my bathroom and he will be doing the plumbing, no doubt!

After having a couple of not so great experiences with contractors trying to upsell me and generally underestimating my intelligence, Todd was an absolute breath of fresh air. He clearly explained the problems associated with the job, how they would be attacked, and offered alternative solutions that would save us money. Further, I greatly appreciated his efficient, methodical, and incredibly courteous nature. While we've decided to take his advice and implement a no-cost solution for now I definitely intend on using his services for any future plumbing needs. Our kitchen faucet had very low flow. In the past the manufacturer advised us to replace the entire faucet. Todd, and his son Ben, disagreed. They discovered and cleared two mineral deposit obstructions. Once again, excellent, quick work! Todd is the guy to call for any plumbing needs!

I called Todd at 9:15 this morning about the failure of my tankless hot water heater. He was at my home to see the situation within the hour, checked his distributor for a replacement, and showed up with Ben and the new heater a half hour later. Within 4.5 hours of my first call, the whole job was done and the total cost was close to the National average of such work (and less than the average cost of most such service in the SF Bay Area). In addition, Todd and Ben were friendly, professional, and good-natured throughout. The job was done before one of the other guys (who has that fancy ""get a quote"" Yelp marketing feature) was even available to come take a look. Wow. When my other tankless fails (expected soon, in light of the age), I know who I'll be calling. Five stars, without question. Thank you, Todd and Ben.
