I awoke last Saturday to find I had no water. We called T. Webber and Joe arrived to figure out what needed to be done. He explained to my wife that both our well pump and our well tank needed to be replaced, and gave her a price that was extremely high. She asked him to see if he could do better and Joe went outside to make a phone call. When he came back in he told her the price could be reduced by $500. She was thrilled and since we had already been approved for financing for the shower job, and had a residual unused amount of more than the price of this new job we figured we were all set.
Then suddenly the price inched up by $200. No real explanation was given for this increase, but it was still under the remaining credit we had, and we did need to get it fixed ASAP.
Then after agreeing to the price Joe asked her for $129 for the day's visit. She blew up and refused to pay, since the job was going to cost several times that amount and they were getting paid for the job. Joe told her it would be applied to the price of the job but she didn't care. She felt she was being nickel and dimed.
Joe also insisted that we had be approved for financing all over again even though the company who financed us showed available credit in an amount that more than covered this new job with the same vendor. He insisted he was right. I called the finance company that afternoon and lo and behold, I was correct. The available credit could be used for this current job.
Joe and Dan came the next day to do the work and in the process broke a control knob to adjust the hot water. They replaced it of course, but plucked a cost of $420 out of the air to do this work, even though they were the ones who broke it.
Since the work was completed I got two other companies to give me estimates for the job they had done. Both of those estimates were over $2000 less than what we were charged.
I was also informed that their workmen work on commission, which explains why their prices are as high as they are.
I'm saddened over this latest experience. The shower job was magnificent, and I thought we would be using them for lots of other work in the future. Now that is not even a remote possibility.

Our guest bathroom toilet, on a Saturday night, suddenly started running and wouldn't stop flushing and it caused a leak in our downstairs neighbor's ceiling. We got a plumber on a Tuesday who couldn't turn off the water because the valve was corroded. He came back Wednesday, with parts, took out the toilet, put it into my guest bedroom, got the water turned off, but wouldn't remove the toilet from my home. I ordered a new toilet, which was an odd size, due to the cabinet and ledge and mirror in the bathroom. When it arrived, I called the plumber, who refused to bring the toilet upstairs to my unit. My husband is unwelI and I couldn't lift the box. I got on Home Advisor and found T. Webber Plumbing. They called me in five minutes. I explained what I needed. They came the next day, installed a new flange, carried the new toilet upstairs and installed it, and removed the old toilet from my guest room, and cleaned up and were done in an hour. What a difference from the original plumber!!! I highly recommend T. Webber. Great service! And they charged us a reasonable price, especially compared to the original plumber who did a third of the job. I didn't realize how crummy the first plumber was till I gott T. Webber here.

DO NOT HIRE T. WEBBER. Hire professionals who can do your project right the first time.

I had a water treatment system installed by T. Webber on 12/21 and less than a month later, my water still stinks and no one seems to be doing anything about it. I was suckered into paying 7 GRAND for this system, having to finance it on top of all the other new home expenses I've been managing. The salesmen were only too happy to rope me into the payment plan, but when it comes to the value or quality of their work, their responsiveness and their solutions to their RESOUNDING FAILURE to solve my problem, they seem to be absolutely lacking.

Don't let them pull you into their ""preferred customer"" nonsense. I've called them back several times now to deal with my house REEKING of sulfur, and not once has it done me any good. I have had them back once already, where their only solution was to ""shock"" the brand new hot water heater, which did nothing but stain the clothes I had in the wash. Here I am today, 1/17 (less than a month after installation), calling them back again. After making it plainly clear to them days in advance that I would be going to work at 1:30 in the afternoon, I get a call at nary 11 o'clock today telling me that the tech is ""running behind"" and asking if I was available later. No... No I'm STILL not available later. I'm not feeling very ""preferred"" right now, I can tell you that.

So. To recap. These outright FRAUDS have suckered me into paying $7,000 bucks for a A) sulfur removal system that does not work, B ) a brand new hot water heater which spits out foul water, and C) a ""preferred customer"" membership which has done NOTHING for me in terms of quality nor timeliness of service.

BUYER BEWARE.

We just moved in to our new townhouse that was flipped. Well it looked very pretty but the plumbing and heat not so much. Called T. Webber and they came that day. The technicians went above and beyond to get the plumbing issues fixed and heat on my 1st floor. They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I knew exactly what they were doing. Highly recommend them!

We have used T Webber for the past 2 seasons for oil furnace tuneup. The first technician in 2018 was great and I have no complaints as he was very thorough and used correct parts. However, this past tuneup Oct. 2019 the technician replaced our nozzle with the incorrect one.

Our furnace calls for a .75 Gallon/HR and a spray pattern of 80 Degrees which is crucial to having the proper flame.

T-Webber Installed a .85 Gallon/HR and a 60 degree angle causing an abnormal buildup of soot in the furnace and the chimney (IE horrible combustion). On top of that we were burning more oil than we were supposed to, which means more money we have to spend on oil for the season. The furnace and the chimney were clean prior to the tech changing the nozzle as I watched him as he opened everything and checked the combustion rate.

They also recommended more work to be done replacing parts on the burner and also giving us a quote to replace the entire burner saying that would be a better choice. Well the quotes they gave us were ridiculous!

I had a technician from a different company replace the part we needed at a fraction of the cost and change the improper nozzle back to what the burner is recommended for.

NO LONGER A T-WEBBER CUSTOMER

SHAMELESS PRICE GOUGING

We needed to have our new kitchen sink and new bar sink installed.

The call center service was fine. The tech showed up over an hour after the noon to 4 window and only after I called at 3:55 to ask where he was.

The only parts required for the install are some silicon, two hoses and a new valve - less than $100 at Lowes or Home Depot. After poking around the sink for half and hour, the tech (he was nice enough) tapped on his tablet for ten minutes and then said it would cost - hold onto your hat - $2700.

When I pinned him down to why this would cost so much, he went outside, sat in his truck for another fifteen minutes, and then came back and said he had talked to his boss and they could do the job for --- wait for it - $2750.

After limiting the service to the kitchen sink, the price came down to $2000. It was well worth the $48 ($52 with tax) to tell them to go get lost.

Sadly, we had many good experiences with this company in the past in Putnam Valley but, like I said above, shamelessly overpriced. Definitely a don't use.

With some patience and follow up phone calls, T.Webber replaced our furnace within a reasonable time period and (after obtaining a second estimate which T.Webber matched) at a reasonable price.

They may not show up at precisely 9AM but they will arrive within a reasonable amount of time from the schedule.

Some of the technicians, like Chris, for example, really are top-notch and know what they are doing.

We went through a process, but, in the end, we can recommend T. Webber.

Not honest - they came to fix my boiler - charged over 800 to fix - not only that they took the damper off and told us our boiler may not be as efficient ??? Really
Called them twice asked for invoice - never received it -
Next step better business bureau!
Over charging !
Could not explain charges - receptionist told me it's a fixed price ?

Recently had a fantastic experience with T.Webber. My husband and I just bought a house and needed some work done. We reached out to a few companies for quotes and ended up moving forward with T.Webber. While they were NOT the cheapest company (as some of the negative reviews have stated) they were by far the most professional, responsive and knowledgable company I dealt with during the process. Many others either didn't return my call, took forever to provide me with estimates, or just gave me ""bad vibes"". T.Webber on the other hand was great from the get-go. They called and texted when they were on their way, took time in explaining some unique elements of our house (from the 1800s!) and ways we may want to modernize in the future, and just provided all around top-notch service. We ended up re-piping a large section of our old bathroom and they were as minimally invasive as possible. We'll likely move forward with a few other projects (water softener, and eventually *hopefully* some ductless a/c in the family room before next summer). Thanks for a job well done.

While renovating our bathroom we noticed the previous owners had a piece of plywood under the toilet. When we removed it, the toilet was no longer flush to the floor because the PVC drainpipe was too tall. I called Twebber thinking a professional could handle it better than us. He quoted me over $1000 stating that we needed to tear up our kitchen ceiling in order to repipe it. When I asked ""you can't just trim the drainpipe, put on a new flange and seal and reset the toilet?"" He said ""no, that won't work because of the male/female parts connection points."" What???? We declined the work, watched a million YouTube videos of professionals doing the same thing I had suggested (""This Old House"") and did it ourselves. Spent $50 on a special drill bit and supplies. It's been in for two weeks and is working great. Won't be calling these guys again. The only conclusion I can come to is the technician either didn't know what he was talking about or lied to get more money out of us.
