This is the worst unorganized company. I made an appointment THREE times and they did not show up. The first two times they said they had emergencies and I was patient because I just needed maintenance done. But the third time was the final straw. They claimed that the phone lines were down (even though they answered) and someone would reach out to me. I gave it an hour and called back and they said they didn't have me on the schedule. I never write reviews but the lack of respect for my time and the lack of professionalism is unbelievable. I wish I could give no stars and five thumbs down.
Lila A.The most unprofessional experience I have ever had was dealing with T Webber.
First, they misaligned my tub in the master bathroom, causing a leak which resulted in water damage in my formal living room ceiling. When we called to tell them the issue, we did not get a call back for 48 HOURS. When they finally called back, they told us it might be a week or more.
After calling to advise that a week was not acceptable, they finally sent a plumber to fix the issue. The plumber Hunter was great. Very helpful and was able to fix the issue.
Now the issue is, I have a hole in my ceiling. I just closed on my home on 10/25. A new homeowner, with a hole in her ceiling from T. Webber's mess up.
They originally were supposed to have someone patch up the drywall the next day. They then went back on their word, and advised that nobody can come out for another 2 weeks.
We called to see if we can have a contractor patch up the drywall, and send them the invoice for reimbursement, since the holidays were approaching. I didn't think it was fair to wait two weeks on their f*** up. We must have called 100x and nobody has called us back. This is where we stand to date.
My husband and I have someone coming out (NOT T. WEBBER) to fix this. I can respectfully say I will never use them, OR recommend them to anyone I know.
Support your local workforce. Call a local plumber. DO NOT make the same mistake as us, thinking this was a reputable company.
Bad Business, T. Webber!
Tatyana V.This company is a scam, and not just a regular normal contractor overcharged me scam. In my 45 years in living on this green earth, I have never seen such bold-faced, shameless utter fraud meant to lie and cheat unsuspecting customers, and I have worked in insurance for 20+ years. When I say ""scam"" and ""fraud"", I am not exaggerating. I mean, there must be some kind of a government agency that needs to go to their offices and examine their books and operations. I mean, they need to stop practicing plumbing, heating, air and electric repair for the good of society.
We had a leak in the living room one night. We have a two story house with a bathroom above the leak. After several tries, we finally get a plumber who is 3 hours late, who decided that because there is a shower above, this must be the source of the leak. He tells us that to rip up a 3 x5 tile space in a standing shower, fix any possible leaky pipe and retile it again will cost us $11,000. Then they have us sign an invoice and pay half.
Three guys show up 5 days later and proceed to rip up the tile in the standing shower and under the bathtub. Once they take all of that out, they call us in to tell us that not only is nothing wet there, but that there is no sign of water damage whatsoever. As in, no water has ever leaked anywhere in that section. Then one of the guys asks me, did anyone ran the shower to make sure the leak came from it before deciding to tear up the tiles? Shouldn't their plumber do that when we call him to fix a leak?
I call an acquaintance who is a contractor in Westchester that tells me that this is a $600 job. Not a $6,000 job, a $600 job. This makes the markup on the work 18,000%. Yes. Not 1,000% markup. Not 2,000% markup. Its 18,000%. There is profit, there are unplanned costs, there are labor fees - and then there is just being a sheisty company that gets away with fraud. These people need to be sued, and audited, heavily.
I point blank ask one of them - you ripped up the tile for absolutely no reason without locating any evidence of the problem, and now you will be laying new tile over that, in a 3 x 5 standing shower (there was no actual floor underneath the bathtub) and this costs $11,000? He answers yes. After this, not a single worker could look me straight in the eye for the remainder of the job.
We call T. Webber in the evening. I ask the secretary if I could speak to the manager. She asks why. While I explain with colorful details why, she hangs up the phone. This is a nice residential area; there is no way she could possibly know that I lived in Queens for 20 years. I redial, and am on hold for about 20 minutes. When someone finally picks up, clearly ready to argue with me, I calmly tell her that unless I speak to an actual human being who will resolve this, I will make it my business to educate the public that they are ok with charging clients $11,000 for a $600 job. She said she will get a manager to call me back. During that 3 minute conversation she attempted to reword everything I said about 4 times, and I had to literally yell for her to stop and tell her loudly that that this is not what I said. First she took the notes from the invoice that was made almost a week before the work began and attempted to pass them off as notes from contractors who came in to do the work. Then she attempted to say they were looking for the leak when the notes that she read literally contradicted everything she said. Maybe she forgot that lying needs to start after she hangs up the phone on me?
The manager showed up the next day. In response to ""can you give us an itemized bill that explains what the $11,000 for?"" which I asked 3 times he smirked three times and repeated over and over again that no, I won't get that. He then finally admitted that their plumber messed up and made assumptions that it was the shower, and asked if he could open up the ceiling to figure out where the leak was coming from. I was dubious. He said that he will attempt to discount some of the price because they made a mistake.
The guys left today. They could not figure out where the leak came from despite making multiple holes in the ceiling, which they plastered but didn't bother priming or painting over. They actually left with the words ""maybe it was a fluke""? (Must be a plumbing industry term). They also retiled the tiles they broke. Then they demanded $5,500, the remainder of the balance. The manager gave us a $1,500 discount. They didn't find any leak, their job was to break the old tiles and set new tiles and charged us $9,500 for a $600 job of doing that. They refused to provide us with a true bill of what we were being charged for. They argued that since we signed an invoice in a state of emergency, this was all ok and perfectly ethical. They called themselves ""pricey"". If they would have stolen the money out of our bank accounts at least they would have done less damage.
discovered a water leak in my basement and had to shut down the system. I made some calls and found T. Webber so I thought I'd try this company. Called at 7:30pm for an emergency call and was told someone would be there but could not say what time. The young lady gave me an estimate of $250. plus the repair. I told her ok and started the waiting. At 11:30pm I called again and was told that they had no idea when he would be at my house. A few minutes later a man called and said that he would schedule someone for the next day, ok do it. The next morning I called again and was told that they would be there around 10-10:30am. Again ok. The plumber arrived at 11:45. Ok still no problem. I took the man into the basement and pointed out the leak which he confirmed. He then took a picture and said he had to call the office for the estimate on the repair. He returned and gave me a jaw dropping estimate of $751.00 and if I did not do the repair there is a $130 charge for showing up. After 15 hrs of no water I had no choice but to have it done. Now this pipe is in an open basement with no obstacles to hinder the repair in any way. He did not even have to kneel down. The repair took 45 minutes, 30 inches of pipe and 3 fittings.
Now they did discount me a military discount of $50 but it was a complete and total rip-off. I would highly recommend you not use this company for any reason unless you wish to get screwed like I did.
The technicians work on commission. They are dishonest, unethical and this particular tech had no knowledge of oil burning furnaces. I had the heat on for two weeks last year before the cleaning/servicing of the furnace. It sounded the same , operating the same as in previous years. The tech comes and starts banging around, awful smells started coming from the basement. Tech says oh yeah the system has to be replaced there's black smoke coming out and it's a real mess. I looked him in the eyes and I said I've been using it for two weeks and it's been fine. This look of fear comes over his face like oh no I've been caught. He mumbled something and goes back downstairs and finishes up and there's no more talk about replacing the system. This year I got a reputable company to come and clean and service the furnace and they said whoever did the job last year did not vacuum out all that sediment that comes from when you burn oil it was totally full so my family and I were breathing all that in all last year. T Webber is a scam organization. I checked the Better Business Bureau and found A Team HVAC. Perfect service from A Team HVAC.

They confirmed my appointment over text, no one showed up on the day of so I called and they said they just forgot to put me on the schedule. The lady was rude and not helpful. Advise you to stay away from them.
We had unusual rain due to flooding from Ida. My basement is always completely dry, but for the first time ever I had flooding. 4 feet of water. The hot water heater tipped over and broke, spewing more water. I called T Webber. The man came quickly, within 2 hrs, which I paid $250 extra for. There are two parts to my house, original and newer addition. Both sides have hot water heating and furnaces. Both completely flooded. He told me I needed two new furnaces and two new hot water heaters. The price would be $33,000. Gulp. He even said he was ""a furnace guy"" and was heart broken to tell me the new furnace on the addition side was totally shot. I said I needed time to make this decision as it didn't seem insurance would cover flooding. I decided to call another company to get a second opinion. They came the next day. Said the one hot water heater which tipped over definitely needed to be replaced. The rest just needed cleaning. They did the whole job for under $3,500. It's been two months since this debacle and the heat and hot water are working perfectly.
I don't recommend them. I took them up on a heating tune up ""special"" for around $100 (which is the price my normal company charges), and the only thing the technician did was come up with bogus problems so that he could potentially charge me over $2000 to ""fix"" these things. I was very suspicious, so I called the company I usually use, and they did what they were supposed to - they checked out the unit, bled the system, etc. and confirmed that T. Webber was just trying to rip me off. I will never use T. Webber again for anything!
I had a T Webber plumber come to my house for a drain pipe leak. The plumber was great. He fixed my leak and everything was fine. Later looking at my bill I had some questions. I must say, the plumber showed me what the estimate was and I signed off on it. My question was what was the cost breakdown for this bill. I have tried calling (nobody picked up). I left two messages. I sent emails, at least 4, and I left messages with their online chat guy. Nobody has answered me. It has been about a month now. All I wanted to know was what did I pay for. Half the bill was for over $600 for two 5 foot sections of 3 inch PVC pipe. The pipe costs about $25 dollars for a 10 foot length. I would like to know what the service fee was, what the parts cost were and what is the labor cost. I paid $1016 for maybe $100 worth of materials and 2 hours of labor (closer to 1.5 hours). Just wondering.
Insane estimate for basic electrical work. Be very careful and make sure to get estimate before work starts. Price to replace a couple outlets and hanging two lights was off the wall. Look elsewhere.
