I now have a new favorite plumber!! What a relief. Nick/Swish. A neighbor raved about his great customer service so I gave him a try when I had to have a toilet replaced. And she was right! I can honesty say that Nick went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. He even called me the next day just to make sure all was running smoothly. I also noticed he took off his shoes before entering my house which I felt was very respectful. I feel obligated to spread the word since that is how I found him. I'm a fan.

Noticed the very faint smell of gas coming from the kitchen coming from a old gas range stove so I bought a new one. Was unable to connect the line from the stove to the gas line. It was a very old style gas valve, went to the hardware store to try different fittings but none of them fit the connector coming out of the gas valve. It was smaller than 3/4"" but larger than 1/2"", the 5/8"" flared was also too big. When it was clear nothing was going to fit, I messaged Nick in the late evening and he responded right away offering to come by the next day for a free assessment. He also asked to send a picture so he could get familiar with that situation before coming by.

Nick promptly arrived the next day and examined the valve and informed me that the valve was indeed the very old style and finding a matching coupler would be difficult to find on my own in a conventional hardware store. He said he could probably find it at specialty plumbing store but recommended replacing the gas valve with a modern ball valve as the vintage gas valves this old are also prone to leaking at this age. He walked me through the entire process in case I wanted to do the replacement myself, pointing out all the things to look out for should I run into any problems which I really appreciate.

Naturally I had him replace the valve, he worked quickly and professionally and hooked up the stove afterwards and had me check to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. He checked the gas to the water heater to make sure it was working since he had to shut off the main gas line to do the repair. The very slight smell of gas that would fill the room was gone. Later that night he texted me to follow up to make sure everything was good and to see if there were any problems. I've never had anyone follow up like that! The man stands by his work and I have every bit of confidence that if there were any problems with the job he did, I can count on him to make it right. Don't hesitate to reach out to Nick for help, I know who I will call in the future!

Nick is professional, helpful, and does everything he can to make sure the job is well-done. He'll even take away your old stuff and always makes sure to cleanup when he's done.
