""Rudy"" the owner of Swift Plumbing is the most unprofessional and disrespectful ""owner"" of a business than I have ever met! I waited for Swift Plumbing all day to arrive at my home. Rudy texted me and said that they were on their way! Finally after 3 more hours,I called him. He told me that he ""fucked"" up! I said so what does that mean for me. That question set him off! He said ""Fuck you"". He said do you want me to ""fucking"" apologize. He said that he doesn't ""fucking"" say that he is ""fucking"" sorry! He then said that he was ""fucking"" going to drop me! He never showed. I went elsewhere. I had to excuse his language to others who heard his swearing from my speaker phone.

This company was assigned by American Home Shield. This 1 person company sent someone to take photos of a slowly flushing toilet. I was expecting a licenced plumber per my contract with AHS. The person who came to my property only took photos and called someone at Swift. Then Swift sent a report stating I needed a new toilet because of calcium build up and my claim was denied. They quoted $400 for a new toilet. I cleaned the blockage with a snake in 5 minutes. Do not use this company or American Home Shield! Totally incompitent.

This company is the WORST I have dealt with, and it is a massive disappointment that AHS uses them. As many others experienced, I never received a call during the first 24-48 hours for my kitchen sink drain line issue. When I called from my work landline, nothing. I called from my cell and got an automatic text saying, ""Please text me."" Really??? So I did, and after a lot of back and forth because my case and scheduling were somewhat complex, then finally Rudy showed up for an assessment. Tells me that later that same day or the next, either he or Maria (I presume that she is the talk-averse dispatcher) will get back to me to schedule the follow-up appointment for the repair. Nothing for two days. I called them, ignored by both, the dispatcher and Rudy. I called AHS to ask them to swap contractors, but they needed to conduct their own investigation. Two weeks passed, and they finally switched me to Solid Plumbing and Drains who came the same day and did a FANTASTIC job.

We used American Home Shield when our toilet began running like crazy at random. It was running so loudly we could hear it from all rooms in the home and we were afraid this would have impacts on the rest of the units in our condo as all the plumbing is connected. So we began this terrible journey.
Firstly all the phone numbers online are wrong ( and all of the reviews are negative). So we called AHS again to get their real phone number. AHS said Wednesday we would hear back no later than 24-48 hours, my husband tried calling them many times and got no answer. Flip to Saturday and I call them back to back to try and get an answer. I receive a text message. ' please text message' What? This is a business right?
Whoever was texting was rude. Claimed they didn't need to answer the phones, said my issues weren't an emergency. Said they could come Tuesday at the earliest, I said that beyond your contractual agreement. They said I'll call them and get it changed, oh so you do know how to make phone calls now! Congrats!
I was in the phone with AHS and already got them to switch our company. But that didn't stop the text messages. They continued to respond that they didn't do anything wrong and got fairly aggressive.
I filed a complaint with AHS but my recommendation is to just decline services from them immediately so you don't have to go through these hoops.

where do I start? These people are so unprofessional. first of all, you can't reach them on the phone. just text messages, the person that's their dispatch personnel is rude with her or his text. They're called swift plumbing, they move slower than sloth I would never recommend these people to anyone I know or you that is reading this review. It's been a month now and my plumbing issue is still not resolved. Had to call my home warranty to remove them from working on my home. They don't even deserve a one star, yelp is forcing me to choose a star rating. Stay away from these people. You've been warned.

I had to use this company per my HOA. The technician that came out did not touch anything because he said that it was an outside issue and that he did not have a long enough snake to repair the issue. I asked for a business card and he did not have one or did not get an invoice for the job that they never did. When my husband got home and spoke with Rudy he did not want to handle the issue because I was a women and handed the phone over to Maria who did not greet me on the phone and was very rude....DO NOT USE THEM POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have called and set up an appointment thru my warranty company for my garbage disposal leaking - the man came out said he fixed it - left. Had to call back to warranty company - they sent them back out - he said he put in a new garbage disposal - now it's leaking every where. set the appointment with Maria. They Never showed up for the appointment today 1/5/23 8-10 am. When I called he text me and stated to text him - no calls. When I asked why they did not show up to fix my disposal - he said my service was over 30 days and the warranty cancelled it. I called the warranty company to set the appointment!!!! So now no response from them?!?! REALLY this is how we do business....Suppose to fix the issues NOT create an ongoing issue. Now Maria text again - stating the warranty company cancelled the work order?!?! They are whom I called to set the appointment!!! - Need better work ethics!!

This is the second time Swift plumbing has not responded to my voicemail or text message. I would not recommend using this service.

We had a leaking water heater that needed replacement and Rudy with Swift Plumbing came and got it done within the time duration promised (2 hours).

We have American Home Shield (do not get me started on them!) and the process was longer than desired (10 days with cold water only), but dealing with them is a separate issue with the BBB.

More about Swift Plumbing, I wish there was better communication from Swift regarding the amount we were due to pay at time of service for uncovered parts, when the replacement was due to arrive, etc. I just want to be kept abreast of where we are in the process. Generally, working with Swift was fine.

Short version: On 8/22 I contacted AHS to get garbage disposal fixed. Guy came by that week, was here about 4 minutes, assessed it needed to be replaced... so he said he'd be back the following week after he got the parts. Now it's three weeks later, he marked the case closed/complete and left his a voicemail message that says he'll be out of town through 9/20.

Add'l Frustration: Now that he has marked this service as completed with AHS I have to deal with them trying to ""investigate"" what happened and they will not dispatch another service until they figure it out.
