There were so many negative reviews for this company, we were hesitant to use them. But when the results are good, they deserve a good rating. One day after contacting our American Home Shield warranty company, we received a call from Rudy who said he could come out in 30-45 minutes. He came and fixed our clogged sink, replaced a part on one toilet, and said he would return with a part for a second toilet. Presto, done.

1) Couldn't get a hold of them. They never answered phone. I left 6 messages over 3 days 2) and eventually had to call my home warranty company to call them for me to set up an appointment. 3) Was then 2 hours late for their appointmen,t 4) didn't bring tools, asked for a screwdriver from me, 5) yet, didn't open anything 5) said there wasn't a problem, and 6) refused to open the drain and 7) then left.
When I asked the guy what his name was, he said ""the owner"".

American Home Shield referred me to Swift Plumbing for a service request on a tankless water heater. The technician arrived, asked me what the problem was. I told him that there was a smell of gas from the device and that it periodically stopped working. He asked if it was working at that moment... it was. He did not even approach the appliance. He made a call and then informed me that this was a maintenance issue. He spent about 3 - 4 minutes at my house and drove off.
He was either a very skilled technician or had x-ray vision, as somehow he came to his diagnosis without inspecting the device!
To add insult to injury, the company closed out the service request without even providing a detailed diagnosis to AHS!
Awful service. Awful company.
(I wish Yelp has a 0 start option, as 1 star is too much for them!)

If I can give a 0 star I would. I met Rudy we'll filing a claim with my home owner insurance. Trusting in my insurance company I was happy to have Rudy come out. The issue was fix and Rudy left me his phone number to contact him In The future if any other issues happen or need plumbing work since he's the owner. With in two days maximum my kitchen sink was leaking and I contacted Rudy directly. He came out the next day after text him. He ""fix."" the issue and had no problem for a month. Last night (9/21/20) my sink busted in the same area Rudy fix. After sending a text around 7:30 pm I received no message until the following day(understandable.) a different plumber came out today and said the issue that was fix from Rudy wasn't the original problem. After text Rudy I only received a message asking my address. It has been 6 hours since hearing from Rudy. I called my insurance to see if we can get anything resolved since this is the same problem that hasn't been fix. Once I spoke to my insurance company they had no record of Rudy coming out the second time. He told me he would add that on the original report. Ally insurance company also mention that the parts that were fix were not what he told me he did. Which makes me think ""did my insurance company get billed for work that wasn't done?"" I am very disappointed in Rudy since I was trusting him to do the job right and I thought the communicate was clear. Do not use this company. My insurance is now saying I have to file a new claim that was never taken care of. Seems like someone took the money and ran away.

Rudy was terrific. When he arrived at my home, the tankless unit had stopped working, no hot water to the house. He knew what was wrong but he had to open up the tankless water heater unit to confirm. He did a ""band-aide"" Temporary solution and I once again had hot water but he advised the Constant leaking Would require parts to be ordered and authorized by American Home Warranty. There was a bit of a hik-up on AHW end but it was resolved With in a few days... Rudy returned and installed the new unit ... he always kept in contact with me and he did a great job. I would use Swift Plumbing again without hesitation.

Similar story - went through a home warranty company and wasted far too much time with this company. They are far from swift, as they took forever to schedule an appointment and come out to diagnose (over a week, meanwhile, water was causing damage to drywall and studs every day), and then they provided a BS assessment of the issue, requiring the home warranty company to request a 2nd opinion from a different plumbing company (causing even more wasted time and water damage), and at the end of the day the home warranty company denied coverage anyways (what a scam). Overall, I think Swift should change their name to UNswift Plumbing LOL.

Rudy came out on referral from AHS. Shower drain was backing up. He was unable to clear through the drain and suggested removing the toilet for added cost to clear through there. I agreed to pay as long as it worked. He removed the toilet, snaked the line and reinstalled the toilet. Drain was still clogged. Suggested an alternative process that he was unable to do. No charge. I appreciated his attitude and effort.
