Unless there is another Swift Plumbing, I had him come out and I was really pleased. I am very picky, and I don't praise plumbers often. He was efficient and charged a fair price. He also did some little extras I appreciated.

I wish I would've have checked Yelp before using Rudy at Swift Plumbing. They too were sent out by our home warranty plan, First American, for our water heater that was leaking, which needed to be replaced.. started out with being over 2 hrs late, you have to call them, work was shotty, they tried to use a small water pan, then we said something and he got the appropriate size water pan, but it was bent and crimped in, and then forgot to turn on the water to the house... which tells me he doesn't check his work. Then had water issues after the install, which we found out we had high water pressure issues, city came out and advised to turn water off ASAP or it could burst other pipes, trying to reach him was hard, finally came back and said we needed to replace the house water regulator and it was going to be $189 in ""modifications"" that the warranty plan doesn't pay for. when I asked what modifications were needed I got no response. I inquired with others and they said you can replace this yourself, so I looked into it, and sure enough they were right. I got the part at Home Depot, no modifications were needed.. he is a scammer, he knows the customer only pays the $75 trip fee, so he tries to charge more... for the water heater install he charged $450 in modifications.. I thought well this is better than paying 1500-2k so it sounds like a deal, but it probably wasn't needed... gives the plumbing trade a bad name.. also won't call or text you back.. he will leave you hanging, even if you have no water coming to your
house. Horrible company.

This company is terrible. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I don't even understand how they are still in business. Or home warranty company sent them out to replace the water heater in the home that we purchased less than 4 months ago. They came out and took a look at the water heater which they found to be broken and rotted out as it was 16 years old. Give days later they finally were able to come out and drain the water heater as we were not allowed to do so. Once the water heater was removed ( left in the garage) they told us that we needed to make repairs to the area the water heater was installed due to the water damage from it leaking. They would not do the work till it was brought up to code. We made the needed repairs in less than 24hrs. They then missed thier next two appointments claiming that they overbooked and had technicians call out sick. Once they finally were able to make it out hours late they needed us to speak with the receptionist to get some info ironed out. Mind you this is after 5pm that they are finally able to arrive 12 days later. While speaking with the employee on the phone our technician who is here to install the water heater looks around the garage and checks out the area to install the water heater for a couple minutes. Then suddenly gets in his truck and drives off!!! The employee on the phone then informs ya that we are being refused service and that the installer was told to leave due to our unwillingness to pay upwards of $700 to have the water heater installed. They tried to up sell us on multiple add ons that we're not code or covered by home warranty. They were unwilling to give an itemized bill. Do anything in regards to getting us an email with what we were paying for, what the code was, how much things cost etc. No professionalism from this company what so ever. When we asked how we were to pay they said we had to give them a credit card over the phone or cash to the installer. No receipt would be given or anything till after we paid. When we some to the supervisor we were told that we had agreed to the cost and that nothing could be changed or questioned about the work. However we have not received any paperwork, signed anything, had anything explained to us or anything. This company is absolutely the worst and should not still be in business. The BBB needs to take a look at the company. Stay far far away from this business. So many different issues happened during this experience I can't even list them all because we were just so astonished by what happened. If we could give negative stars for this company we would.

We had a great experience with this company !
They were responsive with great follow through.
Susan in the office was respectful of our budget and gave us options for our new On Demand Tankless water heater. Prompt response
JR was Professiomal and considerate and did a great job !
We would recommend this company !

NO Stars. Absolutely AVOID this company at all costs. My terrible service experience with Swift Plumbing began when I was forced to use their services by First American Home Warranty (also avoid at all costs, they are a scam). If you have a home warranty contract and see this company coming to your house... Call the warranty company and tell them send someone else.
Long story short, I had a sump pump issue and Swift Plumbing responded as an independent contractor... And after being told by their employee that they would have to replace my pump, and waited days after for it to come and be installed. It recently came to light that they never installed the new pump and left either makeshift shotty repairs (electrical tape wrapped around the pump electrical wire) or replaced my old sump pump with another one that had a serial number date from 2007. This was all discovered after my basement flooded again due to the device failing a year later(after I was out of contract with first American home warranty... due to overall experience I did not renew).
Swift is now claiming to the warranty company that they changed the pump (which they obviously didn't), and who knows where this $500+ device ended up.
An awful situation nobody should have to endure, but can be easily be avoided if you don't use their company.

I love how the only 5 star review here for swift plumbing is someone with zero friends, zero pictures, no profile pic and one review, can't imagine that's fake. This plumbing company is terrible, do not let them come to your house. I worked with Marsha (dispatcher) and Rudy (technician) due to my water heater going out and literally flooding out my garage. I called the home warranty company (First American) on a Saturday afternoon about 4pm and they said it qualified as an emergency due to the flooding and they'd get a plumber out asap. Completely stressed out, I received a text message (not a phone call) from a random # about 9pm at night on Sat asking if they could come by between 9-11am the following day to take a look at the water heater. I said sure and thanks for the urgency, no pun intended. Rudy came by the next day late just after 11am and said he'd be able to put a new water heater in possibly the next day but couldn't promise anything. I explained to him we had two babies and needed the hot water turned back on asap with baths and extra dishes. Marsha called the next day Monday, and said they'd be able to install the water heater possibly the following day but there was going to be some out of pocket expenses. I said how much? She said $360. There were 3 parts they needed to purchase all costing exactly $120 a piece. How convenient. I said no, that doesn't sound right. All the hoses and straps were new because we just purchased the home a few months ago and had the sellers replace all those items to code. Marsha said they'd call back in a couple hours and see if they could do the job minus those expenses, she never called back. The next day I called the plumbing company back to follow up and see what the situation was. They didn't answer, real professional. I then called the home warranty company to complain, first American tried calling them and no answer. First Am said I had to wait for swift to call me back. I explained I needed the hot water turned back on asap and could not wait for them to call back. First American said I didn't have an option since swift was the one that did the initial estimate. I said their a terrible company and didn't trust them at this point, first American said if I'd rather, I could do the job myself and they would send a check to settle. I said we'll do that. I drove to home depot, bought a water heater, installed it myself and had hot water that night. Moral of the story, if you want something done right (and quickly) do it yourself. Dont depend on people that don't have a clue and could care less.. thanks for nothing Swift plumbing! My 1 year old and 3 year old went four days with out a bath. Thanks for the compassion. This company cares about one thing and it's definitely not you or whatever plumbing issue you might be having.

My home warranty sent this company to replace my water heater and they are a total ripoff. I was charged $250 for non covered cost basically a $30 gas line and $5 worth of piping. When I question the cost all I got the run around.

I want to call not just bad, but criminal. They were attached to First Home American Warranty. They cover a range of problems you can have with your house. We purchased this product with our house. It is still a 75 dollar deductible which is close to what the service I needed cost anyway, but I thought I would still use them. The first guy they sent couldn't find a place to park so he cancelled. I waited 4 hours for him. The second guy found a parking place came and looked at my sink and said it was leaking. Keep in mind that this is 3 weeks after I discovered I had a leak. He said he needed to contact First American Warranty about the replacement part. Over the course of a week I called 3 times trying to figure out what they were going to do. The plumber told the warranty company that he wasn't sure what the problem was and he saw some green stuff under sink on the pipe and that I needed to clean that so that he could see if was the problem. He said he does not handle mold problems. They clearly did not want to do any service they just wanted the money. It was horrible.

If I could give 0 stars for very poor & unprofessional service i def would!!!!! Like the other reviews mentioned, they are contracted by home warranty.
I made an apt for SATURDAY @1100. FRIDAY/ day before apt, they were blowing up my phone at work. They had the audacity to show up at our house. Apparently they had a cancellation & technician was around so they decided to show up. Barging in and kept door belling. My husband works at night & me M-F. That's why we made an apt for the weekend. They think they can show up on their own fucking convenience. So unsat!! I Will make a complaint thru home warranty as well.

Such bad service and behavior - it's scary. Rudy the plumber/contractor hired by the home warranty company was unreliable and became worse during the 2 weeks we waited for our hot water heater to be replaced. It started with him not submitting his report until 4 days after he assessed the replacement was needed. (Per home warranty his report should be submitted before EOB that day or within the next day). Finally obtained all warranty approvals and new heater ordered, Rudy scheduled an appointment to come replace the hw heater - showed up 30 minutes early, did not call or notify us; we have dogs on the property and we prefer to secure them and we wanted to be present during the repair. We arrived home 20 min before the scheduled appointment and asked Rudy why he hadn't called us if we was going to be early. He became angry, combative and threatening. He yelled at us, used foul language and when we tried to discuss our concerns with him he became irate. He stated: ""You are not my customer, you are not paying me - the warranty company is."" He told us if we wanted him to put the hw heater in we needed to leave him alone. We became frightened of him and asked him to leave our property. Worst situation we have ever experienced in our years of home ownership. I would not trust his work when he is so unreliable and threatening in his behavior to his customer.
