I use American Home Shield and had a horrible experience with the first plumbers they sent out as he was "unable to locate the CO valve" which 1) we found the info on Google 2) is near the front door and 3) has a metal washer nailed to the bricks indicating its location.

SWAT was able to clear the stoppage in less than 20 minutes. Only downside was they were booked and couldn't get out to us for 3 days.

(Buyer beware. I am sure the company will follow up this post with their own creative version of events. I offer you my sincere, wholehearted advice: Do NOT call this company.) This plumbing service was sent by American Home Shield to assess a possible leak from our upstairs bathroom. The plumber who came out was quite nice. We initially agreed with his assesment that our drips did not result from pipe and plumbing problems. As the plumber was quite literally pulling away my daughter noticed dripping in kitchen (downstairs). We called the company back and asked them to call the plumber, who was only a few block away, to come back and see the problem. The phone rep, and all the others we talked to in the hour succeeding, were antagonistic and argumentative. This was only exacerbated by the horrible customer service from American Home Sheild, whom we had on the line on another cell phone. Meanwhile, we have water dripping into my kitchen cabinets, microwave, and electric range. An absolutely horrible experience all the way around.

NAME AND SHAME: Sewer issues at my home. The plumber got his snake stuck in the sewer drain on Thursday morning at 10 AM. I waited for them all day Friday and finally Chad, the SWAT PLUMBER shows up around 5 pm (31 hours later). He is there about 10 minutes and just disappears again, leaves without even a phone call, text, knock on the door, nothing, RUDE. I called immediately, SWAT Plumbing refuse to answer the phone no matter how long you wait on hold. I started calling SWAT Plumbers first thing this morning and it is the same thing. I called American Home Shield back and they tell me that SWAT Plumbing is refusing to come out until MONDAY to fix it. Errr.....REALLY? They are going to leave a single lady, living alone, here with no toilet, no shower, no water, and sewer waste coming through my bathtub and drains until Monday!!!! Then they have the audacity to send me a $4000 estimate, I paid them $220 so far to put a camera down and they cannot possibly have put the camera down there with their snake still stuck in the drain, so how could they possibly know what is wrong?
I had imagined it was to be a simple sewer drain clean, so did SWAT plumbing's original plumber Sergio that came out Thursday. I am worried that SWAT Plumbing has damaged my drain with their incompetence and sub-standard snake. Yes in 10 minutes they determine a $4000 bill with no camera?
I just want SWAT Plumbing to get their blooming snake out of my drain so I can get a proper plumber to come out and fix the problem and they are acting like they are completely innocent. SWAT plumbing is going to leave me here with sewer issues and no water for 5 days since they first came out on Thursday morning and caused this catastrophe. I cannot water my brand new turf so it will probably die, I have a flight to London that I will have to change and SWAT Plumbing could care less. The incompetence, unprofessionalism, rudeness, heartlessness, and sheer arrogance of this company is astounding.

They made the mistake of asking for a google review......BIG MISTAKE, HUGE. However, in the process of obliging their request, I see that I am not the only one who has had problems with this dastardly company. Plus they have a 3 star on Yelp - way too high in my humble opinion.

RUN, don't walk, away from SWAT Plumbing.
I will update this post if they happen to step up, but I am not holding my breath.

This was a great experience! Usually with home warranty I am a little hesitant, but this was a really great experience. Our technician was fast, reliable, and fixed our issue without any problems. I highly recommend SWAT Plumbing!

I submitted a request to my home warranty company regarding a leak and, unfortunately, they assigned it to SWAT plumbing. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue, but said the leak was due to a bad intake valve on the dishwasher and the warranty company would have to assign an appliance tech to fix. He shut off the hot water to stop the leak, however he did not check to see if the leak was actually stopped. Not knowing the leak was still present, I submitted another request to the warranty company for an appliance tech. When the appliance tech came, he told me the there was still a leak, and it was due to a bad shutoff valve, which the plumber would have to fix before he could fix the intake valve on the dishwasher. So, I called the warranty company back to request an expedited recall of the plumber to fix the faulty shutoff valve. SWAT plumbing said the earliest they could get out was 4 days later! Since then, I have been trying to mitigate the water damage that could have been stopped if the plumber had checked to see if the leak was actually stopped when turning off the water originally. And now, they are saying they cannot even make the time that they had scheduled 4 days ago. Awful experience and I will never recommend SWAT plumbing to anyone. They should change their name to S&%T plumbing!

Worst service ever. Had my house up for sale and decided to have my home warranty fix a very minor master bath leak. The technician came out and made the leak a thousand times worse and said he had to go and would be back in the morning. He left our shower gushing with water even though he said he shut off the water. They called at noon the next day and left a voicemail to schedule an appt. My husband called back an hour later and they said they didn't have the part and couldn't make the appt yet. I called the 2nd day as our water was gushing out so much that we were going to get a big water bill. I called SWAT and they said they called to make the appt and I said we called back and was told they didn't have the part and they said they had no record of our call so I screen shotted it. They said they couldn't come out for 4 days and I said that was unacceptable as my water was gushing and the lady didn't believe me. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was no one available and it was my fault for not calling back. I told her she needed to be fired and she said ...ok I'll let my manager know. I emailed the owner Dillon and got no response. 4 days later I called SWAT and they said they were on their way (they give a 8 hr window) and 30 mins before they arrived I had to rescehdule. They came out 2 days later and once again said they needed a different part and he had spent too much time on this already and needed to go. So he left and we had know idea when he was coming back. I called the office and they said he had submitted the bid (on the 8th) to my warranty company and would be hearing back by tomorrow. 4 days passed and I followed up and they said they hadn't received an approval yet from my warranty company. I knew that wasn't true so I asked for the bid and they said they would get that to me by the end of the day (13th). I didn't receive it so I called on the 14th asking for the bid and they sent it and said it was approved all but 250 out of pocket. So this very minor drip that ended up broken by the tech and has taken over a week of their excuses to fix and no management to respond had just submitted a bid for 2100 to install basically a 45 dollar part from Amazon. I was furious. They got the manager on the phone and I asked why he didn't contact me when I asked to speak to the manager and emailed and he said he didn't get any notifications and the bid was high and he could do it for 1100 and I said no and why isn't he addressing all the service issues and he said ma'm you can get another plumber. I hung up. 30 mins later I got a call from SWAT asking how my service was and I told her horrible and I would never use them again and she said I'm sorry to hear that and hung up. I'll post pics of the gushing water that they left in my master bath and my husband had to go out and buy a part to close it up himself. Do not use!

We had never used SWAT Plumbing before but now they are our #1 plumber of choice! They were selected for us through our home warranty service & we couldn't have asked for better!

Scheduled with them to come out on 10/06. They said I would get a text stating when they would be at my house. I got a text on 10/05 stating they would be there from 12:00 to 6:00 on 10/06. My wife and I made arrangements with work to be there for that time period. Got a text on 10/06 at 10:30 that they would be there in 10 minutes. I called to let them know I wouldn't be there until 12:00. They said that they will have to reschedule since he finished early and insinuated that I was the problem. I guess they expect you to sit at home all day in case they get there early. Don't think the time period they give you means anything. Terrible and disrespectful.

I was connected to S.W.A.T. Plumbing through my home warranty service. The price is right but you never know what biz you'll be set up with, so I'm always a little nervous.

On the day I put in my service request, they were able to schedule me for 1 week out. I thought that was a little long to wait -- what if the plumbing issue was more serious?? But the woman on the phone assured me that was the best they could do and other plumbers would most likely have similar wait times. I just took her word for it, haha.

One week later my technician showed up as scheduled and he was able to take care of the problem (a valve issue) in about 45 minutes. He was friendly and professional. From setting up the appointment to completing the job, everything with S.W.A.T. went smoothly.

Absolutely horrible....and it's not even over yet.... If I don't get this resolved soon will
Unquestionably be calling better business bureaus.. all
Started when the home warranty company sent SWAT out... they had to replace the toilet...no problems there... the problems were when the plumber decided to use a dolly swat plumbing called " padded" ..... the plumber dragged it up the stairs gouging each step as he went up... then when we asked the plumber about it he totally denied it !!! Only issue for him is we have it all recorded on nest cam and took photos aswell.... Reached out to speak to a swat manger and left COUNTLESS messages with ZERO returned calls... NOT A FRIGGEN SINGLE RETURNED CALL!!!! I got one email a week and half later saying " as a courtesy" they would look into getting it repaired and attached someone's name on the email... haven't heard a peep since... and that was a month ago.....what else really frustrates me is when I'm on hold "Happens a lot btw" their recording says they appreciate first responders and military.... Well I'm a vet and work for Dallas fire dept..... ZERO APPRECIATION NOTICED!! SWAT YOU NEED TO CALL ME OR EMAIL ME BACK AND FIX THIS !
