They tried to charge us $2300 for a water heater. We got a second opinion and hired an honest plumber who fixed it for $187. Do NOT fall for their scam. The owner thinks it is ok to scam us for $2300 but not Ok for him to refund $100 for terrible service. Owner's response:" Sorry your experience was less than amazing". I feel blessed not to fall for their scam. Get a second opinion and better yet do NOT ever hire them.

I don't recommend SWAT PLUMMER for anyone. They are CROOKS and unprofessional. They are incompetent and a bunch of CROOKS!!! Damage my floor, didn't connect my toilet. And denied the mistake. NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND SWAT TO ANYONE

This company has to be the worst ever! I cannot process why American Home Shield uses this company. The techs are late, they just throw items back under sink or leave a trail of leaves on your floor. They do not wear mask as company said is a requirement. It's really sad it's hard to find quality work. One of my neighbors paid out of pocket for services instead of using American Home Shield because there plumbers suck!

You hit my car 5 days ago and took blame but have yet to respond to any phone calls. My car now has a ticket-able offensive because the taillight is broken which can ruin my driving record and insurance costs. I was trying to be reasonable the day of the incident but now this is a slap to the face. In addition to the cost of your services I was not anticipating a few extra thousands to repair my own car for damages you caused. This lack of care is concerning Dillion.

Our home warranty company assigned SWAT to our home for a slab leak. We were told that they were sending us their very best. Okay, great - here's how it went down:
Day 1 - Thursday - Hubby took a day off work to be home when the plumber arrived. One guy showed up - said it was a slab leak and that he would send the digging crew the next day.
Day 2 - Friday - I took a day off work to be home when the digging crew arrived. One guy showed up, again told me it was a slab leak, had us sign a contract and promised that the guy who had the fancy leak locater would be there the following week to find the leak and confer with us on the best plan to fix. We paid 50% of our total projected cost at that time. ($1400.00) Total was $3800.00. Home warranty company would cover $1000.00, leaving us with a balance of $2800.00.
Day 3 - Wednesday - I asked my 85 year old mother to be at our house between 12-6 (so we didn't have to take off work AGAIN) to let the guy in to locate the leak. She called me at work to tell me that the digging crew had arrived and were digging in the front yard. We rushed home from work after face-timing with the plumbers to see exactly what was going on. They told us that they would need to re-route the line. Still - no one actually had located the leak. They were unaware that we had signed any contract or paid any money and would be back to fix. We were to get a notice from the scheduler of a date/time.
Day 4 - Thursday - We get a text saying they will be there Friday between 8-12.
Day 5 - Friday - I took another day off work to be there. City came to my door about 9am to ask if we had a leak, because our water usage was abnormally high. I told them we were working on it. At 11:45, when no one had shown up, I called the company, only to be told that we were on the schedule that day for the 12-6 time frame. They just didn't know how that mistake had happened or why we had been told 8-12. I got a call from the crew at around 2:30 trying to beg off because of a big rainstorm they were driving through coming from Dallas. I said no - it was not raining in Watauga, and they needed to fix the leak, as we cannot take any more time off work. They arrived about 4 and started working. They worked till 10:00 that night. Before they left, they promised that they would return on Sunday to finish the job.
Day 6 - Sunday - No one showed up.
Day 7 - Monday - Hubby took another day off work. Called and learned they were coming that day. They arrived and completed the re-route. Now we have 12 holes in walls and ceilings where they had to open up to re-route the line, and a big hole in the flowerbed that they didn't fill in from digging. Later that evening, we realized the dishwasher and the icemaker/water dispenser weren't working.
Day 8 - Tuesday - I called about the water/dishwasher. Asked if they would send someone out after 5pm so we wouldn't have to take more time off work. They promised, yes. We got a text at 3:30 saying plumber was on the way to the house. I called and demanded he arrive after 5. They complied with the request. Plumber got there around 6. Dishwasher was an easy valve turn on. Icemaker/water was discovered to be on a separate line and had not been re-routed with the other plumbing. We asked to have that fixed, and plumber said he would check.
Day 9 - Wednesday - Hubby got a call saying that to fix the icemaker/water line, it would cost an additional $775.00. He said no way.
Day 10 - Thursday - I called at 8:00 that morning and asked to speak to a supervisor, as there was no way that we should have to pay. The icemaker/water were working fine before they came to fix the leak and they should be working when the work was done. It was all related to the original issue. He said they would have someone call me. When I had not heard from anyone by 4:00, I called to check. I was told that the supervisors had been out in the field all day and that someone would call me the next day. No one has yet called, and it is over a week later. My hubby finally did the icemaker/water line himself so we could put our kitchen back together. We will NEVER again use S.W.A.T. plumbing. Word of warning to you all.

Was a vendor through American Home Shield to replace a water heater. They told me my out of pocket would be $1700 after the AHS covered expenses but refused to provide me an itemized estimate after multiple requests. Said cost to install a water heater was $2200. I was finally able to receive an itemized copy from AHS. SWAT was charging $450 for a water stop valve, $250 for a ball valve which was not needed Since I had turned off the water when the water heater started leaking and overcharged by at least 25% for everything else. Decided to take the cash payout instead from AHS and used Master Tech instead who is also in the AHS network who charged me $1550 for the same job - about $650 less than SWAT. Be wary.

Swat plumbing came out during our Historical February freeze of 2021. I had a water leak close to my water cut-off box next to the street. The water leak was about 12'' from my cut-off valve. Swat gave me a estimate of $2500.00. I also paid a $250.00 service charge fee for him telling me i had a leak 12'' from my cut-off valve. All plumbing companies where busy-but $2500.00? I already paid a expensive service charge to visit for 10 minutes.
I got a second plumbers opinion and got the leak fixed for $386.00. I didn't pay a service charge and was fixed in about 2 hours. WOW! BEWARE of SWAT PLUMBING.

I'm used this company twice. My home warranty company assigned these people to a simple stoppage both times. The first stoppage 4 months ago they cleared no problem. Second one, the tech comes out and blames it on roof vents without doing any inspection. Literally none, sat in his air conditioned truck and "talked to his boss" about my stoppage. Gets out and The tech says they don't get on roofs and he's returning it to my home warranty company. Conveniently roof vent stoppages are not coved by home warranty and so they leave and I'm stuck with sewage in my kitchen sink and the warranty company saying it's not covered cause the notes the tech wrote about roof vents. Waited a week for them to get here and DO NOTHING, no help, nothing. It was like they didn't want to deal with it. I even asked the tech to run a snake to clear it and he refused. stating that if he clears it and the stoppage comes back they'd have to come back again and they didn't want to deal with it. Unbelievable!
Getting a second opinion now from a different company through AHS and hopefully they do their job and actually inspect the issue and clear it, unlike SWAT plumbing. Highly recommend using someone else if you get assigned these people.
**update-second opinion company came out and cleared the line no problem. It was NOT the roof vents. They were awesome and friendly and had no issues doing what needed to be done.

Unprofessional experience. Technician didn't show up on time and when he did he left when he saw there was as security gate. Didn't even bother to use the call box to contact me to let him in. I left several messages for them to call me back over a couple of day with no reply.

Horrible. These ppl are crooks. They charged me for a water heater that they left parts off. They also charged me $375 for brick access so the water heater wouldn't flood my garage and $110 for a CO2 dector I never got. The manager said he would refund me and has not. They did NOT do a brick access, nor javenI gotten a redun. Crooks!!! Ppl work hard for their stuff and trust "family owned companies " to be professional.....they are NOT!! BEWARE!!!
