Where do I begin? What a joke of a so called company. My tankless water heater stopped working and SWAT was kind enough to put me on the schedule the same day, a Friday, 10-18-19. They charged me the $40 service fee prior to coming out, which I was happy to pay because they were coming the same day. Guy showed up and basically just said, "its broken." I knew that already. He said he thought it might be the motherboard and that he would get back with me the next day, Saturday. I asked, "Are you open Saturdays?" he said, "Oh yes". Saturday came and nothing. Monday came and nothing. I had to call and try to get an update. I was told they would call me back in about 30 mins with a quote and nothing. I had to call back again to speak to the manager. He assured me he would call me back, and you guessed it, nothing. I had to call back again to be told they need to find the motherboard and then he recommended that I might want to change the whole water heater at a cost of somewhere around $3500, which included a discount. What a joke! I asked for a quote for a repair and to this date, 10/29/19, I have yet to receive a call. At this point I would just like my $40 back but they don't even have the common courtesy of calling me back. I have left THREE messages for a call back from a manager or the owner, or anyone, and not a single call back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT CARE AND WOULD RATHER STEAL YOUR $40. I AT LEAST GOT OFF CHEAP I GUESS.

Customer service is awful. We needed a little flexibility on timing and both the technician and the dispatcher responded with "we don't do that." Sorry SWAT but we work or else we couldn't pay you. But I'm happy to pay someone else.

Booked through our home warranty company to come and fix a water leak and investigate a gas leak.

The window given for a plumber to show up was 8am -1pm. At 12:30 I check the warranty status of the repair and the window now states 8-5. No one had called to inform us of this change.

When the plumber arrives, they fix the water leak, yay. He informs me that there doesn't seem to be a gas leak and for me to call CoServ to get our gas turned back on, then leaves.

Turns out, there wasn't a leak because the gas was off and he never checked for that, and he never pulled a permit to investigate the gas leak in the first place. When we called to discuss this with the company, they were dismissive and rude blaming everyone involved in the process (warranty co, coserv, city inspector) except themselves.

Check their BBB complaints and reviews. Also check the status of their licensing and fines that this company has. It's disturbing. This company lies and has inaccurate billing practices. I HAD to use them when they were assigned by my home warranty company for a water heater that needed to be changed out. The water heater was still under mfr warranty which would require the appliance to be swapped out by a mfr supplier and then installed by this company. First they made us contact the mfr for the warranty which should be done by the technician. SWAT claimed that I needed to pay out of pocket for code upgrades and a county permit. I proved that I was not in violation of either of these claims with the county and state code/permit regulators. They then said it was policy that they change out everything from top to bottom which was not covered by my home warranty contract for liability reasons and to keep the appliance under warranty. They argued everything that I challenged and then said that these out of pocket expenses were cheaper than going with any plumber outside my home warranty so why am I arguing about it. The point is that the expenses were not needed from the beginning but because they make no money working through a home warranty claim they try every way possible to get extra money. I didn't agree to any policy they have and I had to pay out of pocket to bring the water heater system up to code years ago. Once researched I refused to use them for anything. They are lazy and will never give you an itemized break down of their work. He stated them verbatim to me in my phone call with the owner. DO NOT USE!

The workers were great and polite, but the quote I received was $1500.00+ more than others, so I did not use them.

Horrible customer service. I called our warranty company regarding a plumbing issue so they had Swat call me to set up an appointment. I told the warranty company & the receptionist at Swat that I would not be available from 4:00-6:00. The receptionist assured me she would make note of the times I was not going to be home. When I got out of my meeting I noticed I had a missed call & text from Dillon saying he was on his way at 4:46. I called the number back & got a recording saying after hours service calls will be charged $250. I waited until the next morning to call back hoping to reschedule the appointment. The receptionist was quick to notify me that even though they sent a plumber out during the timeframe I was not available they were going to charge a copay fee for a no show and another copay fee would be due for the reschedule. I can't believe this is how they treat their customers & warranty companies. I called our warranty company back & advised them again of the situation and made it clear we would not be paying the copay for the "no show"
After reading these reviews I think I'll find another plumbing company.

My home warranty recommended a another plumbing company and I actual asked for SWAT Plumbing instead because they have serviced me before-the technician did a great job. I spoke to the receptionist at SWAT and explained that I would need a time frame for the plumbers arrival since I work full time. She told me that the day before arrival, I would get a time frame. I did, and understandably it was more than a 4 hours span. I called the receptionist again, saying that I was hoping for a smaller time frame so that I can run home from work and let the plumber in. She checked the schedule and assured me that I was the second from the last customer so the plumber would probably come right before 6pm. I have waited on plumbers, AC and other technicians before and understand that time frames are an estimate and not a specific time.
So at 4:29 I received a voicemail from Harvey at SWAT plumbing, that said he was 20 minutes out. I rushed out of work, into traffic of course, and made it home at 5:05 which would be 5 minutes after he arrived. While I was in traffic, I tried calling the number he called from and it directed me to the automated system. I assumed and apparently I shouldn't of, that he would call saying he arrived and I would tell him I was 5 minutes out. I got home and waited, thinking he also got into some traffic as well. When he still hadn't arrived 30 minutes later I called the automated system and got in contact with a receptionist. She informed me that the technician, Harvey, "waited" for 15 minutes and left. No call or anything. I have worked with multiple companies that have never just left without calling and announcing their arrival. I am assuming that it being a Friday evening, Mr. Harvey wanted to head to the next house and end his day.
I called my home warranty and they spoke to SWAT plumbing, asked them to come back and they refused to come back for no charge. I understand that I should of been there waiting, but I am a working single mom of two boys who get sick and I need to work when I can if they are not sick. All I asked was for them to come back and resolve the issue. I am very upset and thankfully, I have another appointment with another company.

I had a really bad experience with SWAT Plumbing and DO NOT RECOMMEND working with them ever. Everything starting from identifying and fixing the issue to customer service was simply terrible and the whole experience was extremely stressful. First of all, they deceived me and offered a very expensive repair for the gas leak outside the house replacing the whole pipe system and upgrading all my appliances claiming that it was a City requirement, which is wasn't, so basically they just wanted to charge me as much as possible. Second, while repairing my system they actually damaged the new pipe they just installed, so the gas leak was still happening, and they told me what I also had a leak inside the house, and it has to be repaired also, and only diagnostic would cost me around $900. I had no leak inside, so that was a bad judgment call or they did it on purpose to make more money. Finally, they included extra charges to my final invoice without any explanation and charged extra to my credit card without my permission. All my attempts to resolve it with their customer service were unsuccessful, so I had to dispute the charges with my credit card institution and write this review. I hope it will help you to make a right decision!!!

Michael with SWAT Plumbing is VERY professional, kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and accommodating to the customer. He answers all of your questions and explains what he's doing. Also, he gave helpful guidelines for usage of the food disposal. I am very appreciative ! I would use SWAT Plumbing again.

This company is a vendor for American Home Shield. My 81 yr. old mom's hot water heater was leaking and needed replacing. I live in California and was in Dallas to assist her while she recovered from hip surgery. She was released from rehab on Sat. I arrived Sun. and the leak was noticed Mon. She called AHS and SWAT stated they could not make it out until that Fri. My mom put up a fuss and miraculously they were able to come out the same day. So the gentleman gets here and looks at the unit and gave a ridiculous quote, with a straight face, of$2,700. And that her cost would be $1,200 and AHS would pay the rest. He made a statement that it needed to be 'brought up to code'. He was dismissed. She called her son-n-law who got a HWH for $419 at Lowes and her handyman charged $150 for labor. Women and elders beware of this company. They will try to gouge you. Not honest and that's shameful. I plan to report them to BBB upon my return.
