Superior Water and Air doesn't provide adequate post sale support. Prices are high and the quality of work is far below average. I recently spent a $27,000 on a new Lenox furnace, heat pump, AC and tankless water heater. The system is not at all intuitive and performs much different than originally described. Most evident, the system is not even close to being energy efficient. My natural gas usage has dropped some, however, electricity cost has skyrocketed! After months of requests, Superior went radio silent and quit working with me to troubleshoot the issues. To add insult to injury, my humidifier still does not work and Superior remains silent. All in all, I will never recommend a major investment with Superior Water and Air.

I haven't ever actually hired them to do anything relating to plumbing or heating or cooling but I can say that they obviously don't teach their drivers how to navigate on the road without pissing off everybody by cutting them off and then thinking it's funny

charged 600$ for a 30 min job.

all they did was extend 2 pipes 3 inches.

before you have these guys give you a cost estimate (which they charge 100$ for )

be 1000% sure you can't just do it yourself. they will try to milk you for all you're worth.

unbelievably ridiculous prices.

they also forgot to turn the water heater back on

I took the day off for them to come and tune up my furnace for the winter. Scheduled it one month in advance. They didn't show up and then texted me after-the-fact and offered me a couple bucks off of a future tune-up. I bought my furnace, water softener, AND water heater from them and this is how they treat a long-time customer?? While I appreciate the kindness of the person who worked with me, this is not how you run a business. And if you mess up, make it right. I was out an entire work day.

Frustrating.

The salesmen was great. The fact that we were so excited about the service and almost went with them was great. The bad part is the fact that we asked to cancel the service within the 3 day period as of the same night to get more bids and they tried to put it ""on hold"" extremely pissed us off. I called the next day and they tried to put the service on hold again, luckily, they understood after telling me it was set to hold I meant it need to be ""canceled, canceled"" as the rep said and then proceed to do.

They quoted us $10K for a furnace, where as a competitor, was around $4K. Huge difference and not very superior to me. I would not recommend going with them through Costco.

One of the managers from Superior Water and Air called and said he wanted to talk to me about the problem. I returned his call and it connected to some kind of electronic connection. I then called the main number and dialed him in. It went directly to voicemail and I did not hear back from him.

We bought a Generac whole house generator from Costco and they assigned Superior Water and Air to us. This was a big project, involving: new electrical lines, an auto transfer switch, a WiFi unit, a cold weather kit, new gas lines, new gas regulators, and a new gas meter. A permit was needed, along with coordination with the local gas company. The whole project took a month and a half, mostly because of inspection needs, but we were expecting this.

We were so impressed with this company at every stage of the project! We had earlier tried to get a local company to do this, and after they visited our home (four hours late) we decided that we knew more about electricity than they did. The crew from Superior were all so professional and courteous it was unbelievable.

During the initial installation they discovered that our new generator was damaged in shipping. No problem - they called the home base and had a different one out there in a few hours. A smaller company would probably not have had spares in their facility, and there would have been a long delay. Later, their electrician broke his wrist and couldn't pull lines or do any heavy wrench cranking. No problem, they hired a subcontractor who was also great and had the injured electrician work with him. Again, one of our smaller local companies would have been unable to deal with this quickly.

Superior did all of the coordination and kept us informed about every step, and in spite of the extra problems, did it all for the stated price. They also promptly submitted everything to Costco and Generac for my warranty and my 10% Costco rebate (in the form of a Costco gift card).

We have lived in a lot of small towns and have not had good service from most local companies, especially in regard to punctuality. For this job, we had at least four separate appointments, and Superior was ON TIME for all of them. For a job of this complexity, bigger was definitely better. I am astonished by all of the bad reviews here, because our experience was the exact opposite. We have never been treated so well by a service contractor and would recommend Superior Water and Air to anyone looking for electrical or gas service.

They rescheduled me five times, and every time I contacted them, they had the wrong time they had given me. In the one time they did come out, the technician did no service due to being unable to get on a ladder. Another tech came out and could not do something, and I had to wait three days. The scheduling was wrong, so the tech did not put me on the schedule like I was told--miscommunication constantly with scheduling. Every time I called to see when they were coming, they had me at the wrong time they had previously told me.

I had Superior water and air install a new furnace as well as a new central air conditioner. I regretted the entire process. Looking back on it now from the time the salesperson came to my home to the actual installation it was not a favorable experience. But the moment that cemented my regret occurred when the installer called the main office involving question surrounding my electrical system and the other employer on the phone didn't realize his co worker had put him on speaker phone and as we were both listening the ""boss"" main office person said and I quote, ""Well you tell the f***ing homeowner that we need this done..."" I asked the worker on scene to speak with the individual who said this and said ""well you are speaking to the f***ing homeowner now."" I said is this how you treat and value your customers? Essentially, I asked for some type of compensation or recognition that Superior violated their contract by not providing superior customer service. After many delays and runarounds Superior did not admit or try to make the situation better. Because the job was already almost completed I stuck with them thinking they would do the right thing. I called and reported them to Costco because of their relationship with the huge wholesaler. I'm not sure what if anything Costco did. Regardless, I would never, ever recommend them to family or friends and am still in disbelief regarding their handling of the situation as well as the fact the situation even occurred.

Don't even THINK about using this company.

There's a reason they have two and a half stars and others have 4.5 or 5.

I was out of state and had a problem with the rental house I own. The tenants noticed a semi-emergency plumbing problem and had called Superior Water and Air since they were unable to contact me immediately.

Superior called me and quoted a price that seemed EXTREMELY high, but I was concerned that waiting another day might lead to worse problems, and also assumed that the plumber who came out to look at the job might know something that would make the job more difficult than I thought. So I reluctantly OK'd the work.

Big mistake. They did the job in exactly the amount of time I guessed it would take based on my own plumbing experience. No problems at all.

Their final charge, minus cost of parts which I looked up online, meant that their labor charge alone -- even if I included an hour of prep/travel time -- was $450 per hour. If you only count the time their plumber actually spent on the job, which was 3 hours, the labor charge works out to $600 per hour.

I called Superior and said this seemed grossly unfair. They refused to lower the price, even when I said I was willing to pay them $350 an hour for labor -- $350 -- because I shared some blame for OK'ing the job instead of getting other estimates. They said no, I agreed to pay that price and they were sticking with it, bye-bye.

Even though the job was done, I went ahead and got ballpark estimates from other companies for the exact work done. They were LESS THAN HALF of Superior's final bill.

I'm giving Superior ONE star instead of ZERO because they did the job right away, but they probably jumped on it because they knew I might get other estimates if they delayed. So sorry I didn't.
