Austin came out on time and called ahead to remind us of his visit. He was able to take care of our RO system and now we are up and running. Our 4x20 Sediment filter needed a change as well and he was able to take care of that in the same visitl. Way to go Austin and Superior Water & Air.
Kim S.Superior installed some splits and condensers for me a few years ago. One of the condensers broke and needs to be replaced. They have promised to install a new one that will be provided by Lennox free of cost, but I have to pay all other costs including labor and crane usage to get it on the roof. And they don't know when it will arrive. It's supposed to have been in transit to the U.S. since October. Been working on trying to get this fixed or replaced since last June. Hopefully we are reaching the end of this process soon.
Bradford D.Outstanding service today on a water heater surge tank that wasn't quite installed 'soundly' three and half years ago.
I called SW&A last week and arranged for one of their supervisors to come out and check on a drooping surge tank mounted on the cold water inlet side of a 3.5-year-old Rheem 75 gal. water heater. The surge tank's retaining strap screws were pulling away from the wall and the tank itself had about a 15-degree downwards cant from horizontal...not to mention how it was bending the Pex pipes it was attached to! Yikes. The visit was set up for today between 10 and 1.
So, this morning I got a call from Mitch there at Superior. He confirmed the size of the Rheem water heater, and said that he was sending a technician out to fix it for me! How cool is that?
So then right on time Taylor arrives and surveys the existing situation, and after a quick trip to Home Depot for some new brass piping, he proceeds to reinstall the surge tank vertically using some super-strong brass tubing! Probably the way it should have been, but regardless he did a great job with the reinstall. That and he double-secured the tank into position using the old strap and this time secured it to the floor joist above the tank! Problem solved.
Oh, and Taylor also replaced the hot water outlet pipe with a new metal flex pipe and its cold water companion on the other side of the exhaust flue.
All knocked out in about an hour, and at zero cost to me!
That is excellent service and Superior Water and Air doing the right thing for their customers.
Five Stars for great service and taking care of their customers!
Sarah A.We had a warrantee with the new hot water heater we bought 3 years ago, well it broke and needed replacing...I paid $880 for the removal and to have the new one placed. They spilled smelly, slimy water all over my house and dint even attempt to clean it (I called to explain and was told they would clean anything they messed up) then they left for an hour while we cleaned it up (myself and spouse are severely ill and disabled it was extremely difficult to clean and still smells bad.) Not to mention the pressure bladder that failed leading to the break, they were going to put the broken on back on until i said ""thats the reason it failed to begin with, it needs a new one"" they weren't even going to fix the problem!! Also they never get back to me about any issues (called and emailed). Save your money and frustrations go with anyone else!!!! Oh and even if you can pay upfront get ready for a week wait no matter what!
Cathey L.On Saturday, August 28, 2021 about 11:00 pm, my newer toilet (2020) started leaking underneath into the basement when I flushed it a second time because it was acting funny after the first flush of just urine. I called my daughter to ask for a plumber referral. She said Superior installed their water heater and they were pleased, so I called them. I explained to the answering service that I didn't think it was the toilet because it was a high end low flow toilet installed in 4/2020 and said it was more than likely a clog in the sewer line. I received a call back from the oncall Superior person and explained the same thing. He said it would be a $100 service call. The next morning he called to say he was on his way and told me it would be an additional $97 to pull the toliet - I said okay. I thought it was odd because a toilet is pulled to figure out where the clogged sewer line is. Again, the bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled last year. The toilet is a high end, low flow toilet. Superior came and removed the toilet and said the plastic connector the contractor used to center the toilet over the sewer line caused the water to leak into the basement - I did agree it should have been a waxy donut and that is what I told the contractor last year. So after an hour, the tech said it was a sewer line clog (exactly what I told the dispatcher and him), but he doesn't clear drains, it would be an additional service call with a different department. He did leave two new waxy donuts. I was charged $297 to tell me what I already knew AND I still had to call my regular drain guy (Drain Champ 801-509-1098. Drain Champ came early the next day, cleared the sewer line to the main stack and charged me $140. This is a prime example of taking advantage of people, especially older people. I am furious! Also, I didn't get a receipt from Superior.
Our AC went out after 16 years. I thought that getting it replaced would be around $3500. I was wrong. After several bids in the $12k - $28k we chose Superior to do the work.
They weren't the cheapest, but their quality is what we were sold on. Superior walked us through each level of product and recommended one that they felt would work great in our home. They did not recommend their more expensive units, but one that definitely is doing the job.
There are many options out there. If you're looking at a fair price with over the top service and quality, look into Superior.
I'm not the one to leave reviews but I make exceptions this time because people need to know about my experience!! With this people I made the mistake of having home depot sent their people to talk to me about putting on a water heater (tankless) A few days after I talked to them I found out I have cancer and a surgery was needed to remove it. Because I could not work I decided to cancel this $ 5845 but this company said that even though I cancelled within the 3 days cancellation period they wanted to charge me $500 . By the way that was the cost for a BRAND new tank water heater which I Went and bought from hd and read the installation instructions and installed it myself just to save me some money. Needles to say I'm still fighting to get my money back and still trying to deal with a deadly disease at the same time. I'm cancelling my home depot account and will never ever do business with NOT SO superior water and air. And will tell everyone I know about my experience with them.
They may do good work, I don't know. But their initial bid came in 70% higher than a competitors bid. I'm going with the other guys.
I had a reverse osmosis water system installed in my house. I was promised when I bought it through their costco program that the water would be perfectly clear and ice cubes would be clear as well. After a couple of months, I called as the water was as cloudy as when they started and water was not great. They came back and said we needed an additional filter. That was installed and water was the same. Only thing is now I had an additional filter to replace and water tasted like garbage when that filter went bad. Smelled like bad fish. I finally had to just shut it down and callled them to come take it out as I am finishing my basement and need it gone to finish drywall. I called over a week ago and got no response. In that week I also sent 2 emails with no response. Called them again today and told them I need it gone asap. Guy calls and says he will come and look at what they need to do to get it working properly. I'm not sure they understand basic communication but if they read my emails and my voicemails, them would know what I need them to do. If I ran my business like this, I would rightfully expect to go under.
Came out same day to look at tankless water heater
