When I bought my house 4 years ago I was house poor and not prepared for any expenses so when I noticed the original valve dripping I was extremely concerned and worried. As I stood and watched it drip (admittedly tearing up) my next-door neighbor came out and offered to do a temporary repair until I could save the money to fix it. Well his free temporary fix lasted about 4 years. Yesterday I went outside to water my plants and saw that it was dripping again. I stood out there, admittedly tearing up, then I called Superior Plumbing. They were able to come out the next morning. Hector arrived early- gave me an estimate that was very reasonable and got to work. He completed within 30 minutes. So relieved now that I know it's taken care of. Hector was super professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Should I have any other plumbing needs I will definitely call Superior Plumbing.

I have use them several times throughout the years. This recent experience puts a doubt in me about their honesty. One just never really know!
I will focus my review on the situation that cause me to feel doubts about them.
I had a leak from the toilet tank/pipe. Mark, Field Supervisor, came (with Fidel) and first identified that I need a new tank, I was surprised and say why. Then he changed to say the leak is coming from the bottom of the tank connection. He can change the inside pump. He gave me a quote but added a service fee of $44. I said my experience had always been service fee waive if work was done. He insisted that he has to charge me, total cost $210 + $44.
After they left, I notice my pedestal sink (located next to the toilet) started to leak, and quite a bit! (There was no leak before they came, coincidence
?!)
I called them and scheduled an appt with Mark, assume he was familiar with my bathroom.
Mark came and identified the sink leak was because the P-trap corroded, he needs to take out the pedestal to get access to the work. He did not have the material and he has to come back. I confirmed that I will not be charged again for the service fee, and he verbally quoted $250 for the entire job. (Nothing was written down.)
Since the leak was quite a bit, I stopped using the sink and put a bowl under to catch any water.
To my surprise, few days in, the bowl was dry. If it was the P-trap corrosion, wouldn't there be water leaking? I started to get uncomfortable about Mark's assessment (also including his charging me the service fee and I need to have the tank changed).
I called them to schedule an earlier appointment with another plumber. I mentioned to the receptionist (Victoria?) of my concern about Mark assessment that I have a P-trap corrosion.
On Saturday, it was getting to the end of the appointment time window, I had not been contacted, I called. Receptionist said the plumber is getting the P-trap, so will come later. I was surprised, said again, I mentioned that there's not a leak when I stop using the sink, how can it be the P-trap issue? She said she will send another plumber. Of course, by the time the plumber showed up, it was after the appointment window.
Adrian came. I explained my observation, showed him the dry bowl. He identified that the leak came from the ring under the sink, it look loose (!). (In order to get to it and tighten it, he had to cut his monkey wrench handle.)
Yes, tighten the ring was the cure. He said he will not charge me.
I asked how does something like this happens. (It was not leaking before his colleagues came.) He said he doesn't know.
I had another job (that was found only few days before) to fix the leak of an outdoor pipe. It was an easy access, straight plastic pipe with a handle for water for the backyard irrigation. Adrian identified that he needs to cut out the pipe section and it will cost me $350. I said how can this be more than fixing the toilet! He discounted $30, for $320. I asked what is the standard cost for this job, he didn't/couldn't say.
It took him about 1/2 hour, ~12 inch plastic to copper pipe, and a new handle.
My gut feel tells me this is not a $350 job! I feel he is charging me for both jobs he did and the tool he had to cut.

My entire experience with them for the 3 appointment days did not give me a comfortable feeling that they had been all honest with me.
For one, the $44 service charge, then the sink started to leak right after Mark left, Mark's assessment of the P-trap corrosion which was not correct, and the feeling of overcharged with the backyard pipe fix.

Rudy and Ignacio showed up on time, wearing masks, and ready to work. They needed to replace my water heater and, though it took a few hours, they were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They covered their shoes before they entered my apartment and did not leave until I was satisfied with the work they did. I recommend them highly!

Came out when they said they would. Did the job, they had an online coupon and created an invoice receipt right then. Friendly and professional I would use them again.

Five stars for the service and work, but knocked off points for the pricing.

We had a clogged kitchen sink. Spent one day and a few bottles of drain cleaner and that didn't work. Next morning, tried plunging and that didn't clear it either. It's now Sunday and with the shelter in place, we needed sink cleared. Found this company on Yelp. They advertised they were open for business, so we gave them a call.

A few hours later, their technician David came to our house. He put on shoe covers then came in to diagnose the problem. He was able to snake clear the obstruction and we were back to being a happy household. Great work ethic and very helpful.

The only downside was the cost. It was more than double of their advertised drain cleaning special price that's on their webpage. Maybe I should have shown the technician the company webpage but I would have expected them to know their prices.
