DO NOT HIRE THEM!! BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS. BE ADVISED.
I was forced to use them through our home warranty company and it was a nightmare from start to end. There was a blockage in our sewer line which they ""tried"" clearing by snaking it, hydrojetting it, ran 2 cameras in the line and after 4 weeks decided that I need to replace a large section of my sewer line. This would cost me several thousands of dollars and worst part was they were very reluctant to provide a formal quote. I read their half ass quote which clearly had so many shady disclaimers like ""in an attempt to solve the problem"" meaning we probably will come back for several thousand more after we initially screw you since we really dont know what the problem is or we do but want to squeez every dollar possible out of you.
This was a red flag so I spent the money and hired another plumber I found on yelp who was highly rated and thank God I did! He ran a camera and inside of 20 mins he showed me the culprit which was a huge piece of wood that was lodged in my sewer accidentally when contractors redid the bathroom. He fixed the problem for virtually a fraction of what superior was quoting. No need to replace any pipes at all. Yelp truly saved the day again.
I'm not sure how these guys have a business licenses still. Its also very odd that they have 2 names. The home warranty company knows them under one business but another business shows up. Probably because one businesses license is not in good standing to work for the home warranty company.
These guys will never step foot near my property nor anyones I know.
V J.These guys rescued me on a Sunday after that dreadful A+ Plumbing company strung me along for 3 days (see my review on them for details). They were courteous, timely and affordable and did a wonderful job...what more can you ask for in a plumber? Oh and let's not forget the Sunday service! Yup they are definitely a 5 star company. Thanks Jose!
Yeah they paid me half, so at least they fixed that....but it did take a bad review on Yelp to make is happen. I have another plumber now and he actually was able to do everything these guys could not. The rest of my review stands as written. These guys really treat you like a dummy. I am sure perhaps most folks would never know. I do. Lost customer and referrals for life.
We have used Superior plumbing for several years for a variety of problems (plugged toilet, leaky sink, etc). The plumbers sent to our house have always been professional, polite, neat and clean. They called before coming during the designated time window. They wore shoe covers when they came into our home and when asked they washed their hands before working in the kitchen. They evaluated our complaints and dealt with our problems appropriately and at a reasonable cost.
Saturday night a puddle in the kitchen. ..think it's the dogs avoiding the rain. ..NOPE pipe had a hole in it. Sunday a.m. I emailed Superior, got a call back in 15 minutes. Said technician would arrive between 9-11. Jorge arrives at 10...fixes EVERYTHING. This is why Superior is always my go to with plumbing. ..come on a Sunday, no extra charge, fast with reasonable rates!!!
Superior did a fantastic job fixing our plumbing drainage under the house when it imploded the first week we moved into our 1926 bungalow, which was in 2011. Vincent is great, and found a creative fix that saved us money, I'm sure, while also considering our future needs. At the time, he installed an access point for our lateral. That sure came in handy today, because this time the drainage plug was in our lateral (outside the house). Their crew arrived really fast, within an hour or two, and got our drainage running again, which is a huge relief. I hate to spend money on this stuff, but with Superior and Vincent, I know I'm getting top notch service for a very fair price. I really like how he provides the information to make a good decision, and he makes a major effort to fix your problem in the best way possible. These guys are for sure my go-to plumbing guys.
Whitney M.FYI-- after a week of dealing with additional cancellations and no-shows from different plumbers, we realized our first incidence with them might have been standard for the industry so called Superior back and set up an appointment (with Mark) for this morning. They set up the appointment and we said we would have the warranty company reassign the contract to them. They didn't at that point say they wouldn't provide us service, but 30 minutes before they were supposed to show, the warranty company called to reassign them the contract and they refused to provide service based on this review and the Angie's list review I wrote. I was fully ready to re-review (as I am here) but just want everyone to know what they are dealing with.
Samantha G.I called Superior to get a quote to replace an old toilet and to remove an old water conditioner from out garage. They scheduled a plumber to come out and give us a quote quickly. Oscar and his partner came on a Thursday night and gave us a reasonable quote that matched what we were told by a handyman. He was very honest which is invaluable when it comes to service people. I also asked about a water pressure issue and he checked it out and gave me a simple explanation and said no work was needed. In regards to the water conditioner he gave us a quote to remove it and one if we wanted to replace it but advised us that the water in our area is fine and said it was probably unnecessary so we should save our money. Unfortunately Oscar doesn't work weekends so when we scheduled the work to be done we were assigned a different crew. Alfonso and his partner were equally wonderful though. They were right on time at the beginning of our scheduled window. He actually quoted a slightly lower price and in the end disposed of the old water conditioner for no extra cost. Overall we were very pleased with the service we received from both teams and will definitely call Superior if we have any future plumbing needs.
Bobby W.Emergency call through Home Warranty, we had sewage in our bathtub. No call to confirm as promised. When I called them they gave me a 5 hour window, and the girl on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. The tech, Jorge, showed up at the end of the window..24 hrs after my call.
He spent 45 minutes searching the property..he couldn't find a sewer clean out. He quoted us $1500 to install one, and $350 to come back in a couple days to go through the roof vent.
The following morning I found the clean out in 15 minutes...and I'm no plumber. A different plumber came out within 2 hours and fixed the clog in under 20 minutes. (Royal Services. Highly recommended)
Incompetent, scammers, and unhelpful. Our home warranty company is no longer using them.
*UPDATE* to reply to Noe's comment..
The clean out cap was clearly visible in the basement by the shower drain. Jorge only noticed the contractors cap. Again, incompetent. I'm not a plumber and I found it in 10 minutes. he clearly just wanted to upsell us. A report has been filed by the warranty company.
DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER.
4 days ago I noticed the hot water in my kitchen sink had no pressure so I called my home warranty and they sent out superior plumbing. The plumber told me that my faucet had broke do to a pipe under my sink that was the correct size. He also told me that all of my pipes under the sink were done incorrectly.
After that he tried to sell me a faucet he had in his truck but I explained that it didn't match my kitchen so he put my faucet back together and he was going to contact my home warranty company to see if they would cover any costs. Two days later and calling them and calling them the plumber finally told us that my cost would be &45 for a new pipe and then I would have to pay $175 for them to install a new faucet (my warranty was going to reimburse me $115 towards a new faucet). I was okay with that and I asked if we could schedule for them to come ASAP. The plumber told me he still needed to contact my warranty company AGAIN. Ugh! The next day I find out they upped the price of the pipe from $45 to $345!!!!! And was shocked! I then told my home warranty that this plumbing company seemed very sketchy to me and they agreed!!! Then that night as I was washing a pan my faucet literally broke off the base!! My faucet was perfectly fine before that plumber had come to my house and took everything apart besides the fact that my water pressure was gone.
Today I had a new plumbing company come to my house and he informed me that nothing is wrong with my pipes and that the previous plumber must have deliberately broken my faucet in half in hopes to make money off of me!!
My home warranty company is not going to use superior plumbing anymore.
Please people do not use superior plumbing. They cost me about $300 dollars and a huge headache.
