They came out once to diagnose the heater exchange was needed to be replaced, ordered it and then again to replace it. They were on time, replaced it in an efficient manner, & sent the same technician because he was already familiar with the situation. (He stressed the importance of cleaning the furnace filter with a hose once every 3M & hold it up to the sunlight to ensure its cleanliness. No one has ever told me that and I have put it on my calendar to do so.)

BTW, they are authorized to perform warranty repairs for Goodman furnaces.

I would definitely use them again.

Their name says it all: SUPERIOR. My 32-year-old air conditioning compressor died at the start of a heat wave in June. I contacted 13 vendors to get quotations to replace the entire HVAC system (furnace, air conditioner, and evaporator coil). Some vendors didn't return messages left on their answering machine. Some were so backlogged that the earliest they could install a new system would be August. In the end, I got quotations from three vendors and awarded the contract to Superior. Their price was competitive, and their 10-year labor warranty was far better than competitor's warranties of 1 to 3 years.

Working with Superior was a pleasure. The entire process, from the initial quotation visit by Alex Whitlock, through completion of the installation by Pablo and Mike, was very professional. Alex was the only vendor to complete a load calculation using the Air Conditioning Contractors of America's ""Manual J"" to size the equipment. Other vendors asked me what size equipment they should quote. Isn't that what they're supposed to determine? The proposal Alex presented was typewritten and thorough, with a full description of the equipment, scope of work, and pricing. I asked some clarifying questions about the proposal, and Alex revised the document and sent me a new version promptly. The installation was completed in two days, and Pablo and Mike were punctual, professional, and ""neat and tidy"". The installation workmanship is first-rate, and the equipment is working perfectly.

Superior is a local, family-run company in business since 1948. Their employees are members of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 342 and Alex said some employees have worked for Superior for many years. Contrast this with other HVAC companies whose employees aren't union members, and who work on a commission basis.

If you want to do business with a company with professionalism and integrity, look no further than Superior.

We we're having a trouble with our heater in our office building, and the crew of at superior took great care of us. After a few visits and trying to fix our existing unit it was decided that getting a new heating unit was needed. When the new heater arrived they were out here in a hurry to install the new unit! They are prompt, reliable and professional!

Superior installed a tankless water heater for us. The team went above and beyond with customer service. The tankless was programmed to meet our needs, even with a return visit to ensure satisfication with the smart technology and circ pump. Laura and Jerry Williams had great folllow-up, not only during the installation process but afterwards too. I would definitely recommend Superior Mechanical Services and their knowledgable team. We also have a maintenance contract with them for our heating and a/c units and all technicians have been great to work with--efficient, thorough, on time and courteous.

I wanted to update my review. Today I meet with the owner Jerry. We was very sincere with his apology and went out of his way to make thing right. It was everything I expect and more. We talked for about an hour and I believe we both have a better understanding about the situation. Jerry asked me a lot of questions about my experience and ways to improve the processes of his business.

Our heater wasn't working and we called Superior based on a referral from a colleague. Not only did they fix the heater but they found the source of a ticky ticky ticky noise that had been left by a previous company. Loose wire clicking against metal..What a relief to be rid of that noise! And have the heat working! Thank you Superior

Thought I had a problem with the heat exchanger on my furnace which could cause carbon monoxide to leak into the house. I called Superior Mechanical and asked that they check the furnace.

A time had been setup and the technician showed as scheduled. He spent about 1.5 hours doing a complete inspection. Happy to say no cracks and no carbon monoxide leakage. Through out his inspection he kept me informed of what he was doing and why. The technician was professional as well as personable. After he was done, he even vacuumed the furnace.

Not only was the job done in a efficient manner the price was very reasonable. Anyone looking for HVAC work can't go wrong with using Superior Mechanical Services. They will be my first call for any future work.

Called them at 12:00pm Friday to service our hood. The lady on the phone was not helpful and seemed that she didn't care and said the trip to San Ramon would be on over time and I asked why it's only 12 o'clock the day ends at 5 she said no we start our day early at 7am. Is there anything else you need she asked. I said no thanks and called CBS who is in concord and was at my place with in the hour and their hourly rate lots cheaper and no over time and the manager came himself to assure work was completed properly. Too bad.....I am sure this company didn't need my business I wish the best of luck. Knowing the owner worked really hard to build this business I hope he gets some one better on the phone since that is the first contact with his customers. And I am still puzzled for the overtime charge at 12 pm and expensive hourly rate.

I used home advisor to get a lot of quotes but these guys came in with the best price for the system that I was looking for. I had a furnace and air conditioner installed. The guys that came to do the job were friendly and polite. They were able to work with me on an alternative drain for the over flow for the coils. While the work was being done they kept the area clean and always paid attention to where my kids were for safety reasons. They used shoe covers when they were not walking around on the drop cloth. I would recommend these guys for any heating and cooling service that needs to be done

Broken heater on a cold day is no fun. I was referred to these guys from a friend. They came out, diagnosed the problem, got my part on warrantee (even though I didn't get the heater from them) and fixed my heater! The tech, Carlos, was awesome. He tested the system repeatedly before leaving. Will be calling them before the heat starts to check out my A/C unit!
