I would call someone else. They installed new AC for me and subsequently got busted for working without a permit. Then they billed me for maintenance when they never showed up. After a couple heated phone calls they got the message and fired themselves. Good riddance!

After moving into our house, we quickly realized that our heating system worked very poorly in many parts of our house, with little to no airflow. It became apparent to use that we needed a full update and revamp of our system. The job called for replacing basically all of our ductwork, installing air conditioning, replacing an old furnace, and putting in a three zone system to allow for greater efficiency.

We got several bids for the job, and despite the fact that Superior was located in Livermore (and we're in Redwood City), we went with them as they had done work for my family before and gave a very competitive estimate and timeline. They handled the permitting, Title 24 process, the inspections, and we were happy with our ability to communicate with them. The work itself took 5 full days, and they did a good job cleaning up, treated our house with care, and generally gave us a positive experience. With the heat we've experienced lately, having a well functioning HVAC system is a great investment and a real lifesaver.

Last week I had a brand new water heater installed by superior mechanical services out of Livermore, CA. This company was very efficient and did an exceptional job with the new installation. My new water heater passed inspection & The installer was very kind, efficient and very easy to talk to. Nothing in my garage was disturbed, no mess was left. Milton and Caesar were amazing installing a whole new air and heat system. they were very considerate with working around kids and pets. They were always checking in and updating me on their progress, asking if I had questions. They always stuck to their times they said they would there and always notified me when leaving for parts or lunch. At the end of the installation they explained to me what to expect and instructions on how to use our new thermostat. All around a pleasant experience for a multi day project. My 27 year old furnace went out on New Years Eve! Ugh. I was fearful of calling anyone because we had just had Christmas and a funeral and I didn't know if this would be $100 or $8,000. So we just used our pellet stove and fireplaces for almost the entire month. I was beginning to feel like I was living in the mountains off the grid with all the hauling of fire wood and sacks of pellets we did. Finally when they called the first spare day, we couldn't take it. We technically had no other source of heat but reading up on it, it was clear we had to submit paperwork to be allowed to burn that day. I ended up calling Superior yesterday because they actually installed our furnace in 1992. I called at 11am and they gave me a window of 1 to 3pm the same day. They sent OT out and he arrived at 1pm. He had our furnace repaired and up and running in less than an hour. The bill came to $346. Way less than I was fearing it would be. While our furnace will ultimately need to be replaced in the not so far future, OT got us up and running with heat. I'm very thankful. You don't appreciate your furnace to until it's cold and it's suddenly not working. Thank you Superior for the fast and very reasonable service. I will have no problem calling you again.
