I spent my childhood in residential facilities throughout New York.
After moving here, I began the trade at the age of 15.
Digging ditches and laying wastewater systems, water distribution systems, and gas lines.
Before long, I was driving my own service truck.
After that, I quickly advanced in the trade, assuming all positions needed.
I went back school to learn needed to progress.
I fought hard to be where I am today and I’m still fighting.
