I was raised in group homes throughout NY.
When I arrived here, I started the trade at age 15.
Excavating trenches and setting up wastewater systems, water main systems, and gas main systems.
Soon after, I was driving my own work truck.
Subsequently, I swiftly moved up in the trade, filling all necessary roles.
I revisited school to learn needed to move forward.
I faced significant challenges to be where I am today and I persist in my efforts.
