They came out quickly and were very friendly, but prices are insane. $400 for a 15 min job (included max $30 material) to install a new pro angle stop 1/4 turn. I am crazy that I agreed to have them do the work, but I won't make the same mistake twice!

Talk over the phone to technician, tenant was next to him. He stated it will not be more than 2100.00 I accepted, they changed the water heather. when the invoice came the bill was 2050.70, but they included a membership in the amount of 120.00 which increased the invoice. Called a total of 9 times in 4 days, none of the girls new nothing and nothing they could do, left 2 voice messages to manager never got response. I was never informed of a membership fee, nor i want to have a membership with a plumbing co. Also they never give you a breakdown of the invoice. A very shady company, will never use again.

Please do not use this company. Tyler lied about the membership. He told me it was free but charged me for it. They are way overpriced. Please just run when it comes to Sunrise. I have contacted this company for a call back for almost a month and no one has returned my call. I will never use them again. Worst company.

I am writing this review not because they did bad work. This is the second time I have used them. I am writing it because I feel like I was just taken.

One of the shower cartridges in our shower water valve was damaged and I purchased a new valve assembly. I realized it was not a repair I could perform myself so I called Sunrise and they got someone out the next day. When the tech inspected the valve he said the cartridge could be replaced and if he did not have in his van, it would be available in their warehouse. He gave me the estimate which I could swear was roughly $80 for the part and $211 for the labor. The reason I remember it was I was wondering if I could use a $50 coupon for any repair over $299.

The repair was completed in about 2 hours and that included the time for him to run to the warehouse to pick up the cartridge. Then he came to collect for the work and the invoice was about $535. I protested saying the quote he showed me was $211 and he essentially told me that is not what I saw. Yet, he could not go back and let me see what he showed me. He just kept telling me I did not see what I saw which is utter BS because if I knew the repair was over $500, I would never have signed to have the work completed. I can replace a cartridge myself but I was willing to pay a couple hundred dollars for the convenience because of my busy schedule.

Another issue I have with Sunrise is that they charge $39 to show up which I completely understand a trip charge but when I inquired if it would applied to the cost of the repair they told me no.

While I have no issue with the work which was performed, I will not be using them again and I would urge anyone using them to be very careful.

Booked a heating tube up/inspection.
They put me on the schedule for 3 weeks later, sent me texts and emails confirming, even sent a text a few days before the appointment.

Then, the day of the scheduled appointment they call and say they dont have anyone that can do the service because they don't have any hvac employees and are in the process of training new ones.......

I'd say don't waste your time calling then- just call a business that actually has employees and will actually show up.

We needed someone to come out to remove our dishwasher and then reinstall it since we're installing hardwood floors. They were great to accommodate someone coming out the same day I called. They charged us a $40 service fee to come look. Plumber told us $790 to remove it and reinstall. Excuse me? Did you just say $790? I can buy a new dishwasher and negotiate free install for $790. Dishwasher is not sealed in. No idea why they put a charge for difficult location. Perhaps because it's in the kitchen island. We will be using YouTube.

The plumber was nice and friendly. Not his fault. I'm sure pricing is dictated by the home office.

Twice the plumber, Dylan, made representations that the Excavation crew would be on site at a specific date and time. Neither time was our expectation met. The first time was minor, but for a $5000 job that requires a massive hole under our foundation, we need certainty. Nobody told us until we called several times that they are NOT COMING today. We were promised that they would be on site at 8:30 Saturday and only after several calls did they admit that they are not coming until Monday. I have lost confidence that they will be here Monday and do the job right. When we complained the girl that answered the phone cheerfully explained that they already have out money. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING AND DON'T GIVE FINAL PAYMENT based on the plumbing until the entire job is complete. They also cut our sprinkler pipes, but if the only people coming back are excavation people, who will fix my pipes. I am challenging the credit card payment in hopes they will become responsive like they were before we paid.

Consumer beware. They will overcharge you as much as they can. I was caught in a weak moment after being without water for a week and a half. They charged me $775 to replace $15 worth of copper pipe and 15 minutes of labor. They did not have to do anything other than replace the broken pipe. The drywall and bathroom vanity were already removed so they had easy access. They claim that is what the pricing program they use says to charge. My wife called and requested a detailed invoice and of course we are still waiting for even a callback let alone a detailed invoice. If you call you will be sent to voicemail and may or may not get a call back.

My experience? Absolutely shady! And ZERO stars (which I wish Yelp gave that option).
I understand we are just coming out of a serious storm, and many people are experiencing water intrusion issues due to the freezing temperatures, but is that a reason to mark up their services to the point of disbelief?? This is called price gouging!
I had an exterior leaking pipe sticking up from the ground and no water to the house. it was a matter of cutting the pipe, adding a coupling, installing 12 inches of pipe, and turning the water back on. I should have taken the $200 appointment charge just for coming out as a red flag. I timed the repairman upon arrival. 30 minutes! It took 30 minutes for the repair and he charged me $1200 on top of the $200. $1400 for a simple repair that should have cost less than $200. .
But wait ... the story doesn't end there.
The repairman then heads over to my rental property where the pipe burst flooding the interior of the house. Again, water turned off - so in a bind. He charged me $1250 this go-round ... for another quick job. He turned the water on and discovered there were two small additional leaks under the house in the accessible crawl space. Quote - $4750! When I stated how I felt this was astronomical and may possibly be considered price gouging, they promptly packed up, left the water off as we still have issues, and left the job because I was now a liability per Mitchell, supposedly the owner. Per Devon, the repairman, they needed to now protect themselves.
So that was my day. $2650 literally down the drain, for projects that should have cost me about $400 tops. This was all during normal business hours.
I've reported them to the Attorney General's office and will be taking legal action for price gouging - an illegal act.
Please be careful when dealing with the company. It is a shame that when so many of us are all experiencing loss throughout this storm of a century and a pandemic, this company's standard of practice is to take advantage of people. Shameful!

After scheduling an appointment to help with my fireplace, the office notified me they cannot help. The receptionist I spoke to talked in circles. After using my fireplace for a full 24 hours due to no electricity and low temps, I noticed a small gap in my firebox and could see a flame behind the firebox. I turned everything off and the flame went away. But now I'm hesitant to use the fireplace till someone can look at it.

First she told me I needed to call Atmos to turn off the gas. I had already called Atmos and they said if it were a gas leak then we'd be able to smell gas, which we don't. It's also not a loss of pressure because none of our other gas devices (stove, hot water heater) have had issues. And therefore they can't help us, call a plumber.

Then she said the plumber cannot fix any gas lines behind the firebox, that I needed to call a fireplace repair store. Then when I told her I already spoke to them and they instructed me to call a plumber she told me that if there was a fire behind the firebox that I needed to call the fire department and they would take care of everything. I explained the fire isn't there anymore and I'm doubtful the fire department will fix my fireplace.

She kept telling me that it was unsafe for her tech to come out if there's a gas leak and I had to have Atmos turn off the gas, but none of that matters because her tech won't look at gas lines behind the firebox. And round and round we went.

It's my opinion that the person I spoke to is not a professional plumber and didn't understand my issue and assumed her tech would not be able to assist. Either way, it's too unsafe for her tech to come out, but I'm screwed.
