Sunnyvale Plumbing scheduled but missed appointment without before or after followup.

I called Sunnyvale Plumbing and scheduled an appointment for 5pm today and they confirmed. But at 5pm tenant told me they didn't show up. At 5:30pm tenant asked if they are still coming, they said no, because a previous work didn't finish. At 7pm I checked with tenant to see if they made it, tenant said no shows and no proactive follow ups.

This is a scheduler issue. - It's totally understandable that a noshow happens sometime, but it would show much more care about clients if they can proactive call and update the status.

It is true, the service call timing is good and the company is good for basic repair. However, my recent experience with the service call has costed me dearly as communication is such a big issue with the person and would not know what they could do or not do. They have no experience with high end faucet repair leaks etc. I would never ever call them or recommend it to anyone else.

I called this place after the emergency job done by another plumbers 48 hours ago came back. This plumber was extraordinary. He singlehandedly climbed up the roof to snake out the blockage in 96 degrees temperature on Sunday afternoon. I was concern for him because the weather was hot. He unclogged the drain and followed up with clearing the main outside the house. He cleared up my problem where 2 guys couldn't do it couple nights ago! Will definitely use him again!!

We had a blocked main drain which was causing toilet/shower/sink to back up on a weekend. Called and he offered to come even sooner than I thought possible. He got everything unblocked within 30-45 minutes. Everything worked great and he provided a guarantee on his work. Price was very reasonable, especially given the dire state of our drains at the time.

Great service. My kitchen sink clogged up twice in two weeks. Tried Drano and thesnake and the drain is still very slow. Text the number with address and Shin showed up in half an hour. Did a decent job and even cleaned under the sink.

First the positives. I contacted them fairly late Saturday afternoon (4 PM'ish) and he was here within an hour. He diagnosed the problem quickly; we had a cracked black pipe that was leaking in the crawl space. He replaced about a 3 foot section and snaked the rest to clear out the gunk. When all that was done, it revealed another leak, and he fixed that as well. It was a tough job because the area where he had to do the work was difficult to access via the crawlspace.

The drawback. Other reviews have mentioned a heavy accent. The guy who came to our house didn't just have a heavy accent; he spoke very little English...although I'm guessing his Korean was impeccable :-) . It was frustrating for both him and for me because he couldn't effectively communicate the plumbing problem in English. At one point he called a co-worker to interpret, though the co-worker's English wasn't too much better.

Bottom line is that he was here quickly, diagnosed the problem, and got it fixed, even though it took him until almost 8 PM on a Saturday night. I was very happy to get the problem fixed the same day, but if you use him you should know that communication may be a real issue.

Called at 1:15 on a Saturday. Said he would be here in 1 hour. Showed up in 20 minutes. Replaced rusted out pipe to outside spigot in no time. I'm saving his number. I live in a 65 year old house and there is always something.
