Sun Glow takes pride in our four decades in the Portland community, addressing the heating needs of thousands local homes and businesses.
Founded by the Golobay family in the early 70s, Sun Glow Inc. was founded on the commitment of providing outstanding service. This core principle of superior service is the bedrock that next generation owners the Golobay siblings continue.

Over the past 53 years, Sun Glow has given back the Portland area, with the conviction that the growth of our family-run business should also meet the requirements of our staff, but also address the needs of our community when resources allow. We are proud of our public service and feel it represents who we are.
David Golobay, began his journey at Sun Glow at the age of fourteen. What started as a temporary position to repay his parents for a broken window, turned into a lifelong passion. By the end of that first summer, he shared with his father his dream to eventually manage the enterprise.

For the next five summers, David returned during school breaks. After finishing high school, he attended college while working part-time, earning his Associates Degree before moving on to OIT for a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Almost ten years ago, David took on the role of the GM of Sun Glow. Just recently, David and his wife, Dawn, acquired Sun Glow and have carried on in their family's footsteps.

Outside of work, David is highly committed in his community, much like his father Ed. He participates in a host of boards, inspired by a commitment to create a positive impact for not only his children but for all those he interacts with.
