Sun Glow takes pride in our 40 years in the greater Portland region, catering to the heating needs of countless local homes and enterprises.
Established by the Golobay family in 1972, Sun Glow Inc. was founded on the commitment of delivering exceptional service. This identical belief of outstanding service is the bedrock that next generation owners David and Dawn Golobay continue.

Throughout our history, Sun Glow has supported the local community, holding the belief that the prosperity of our family-run business should also satisfy the requirements of our employees, but also support the needs of our local area when capabilities allow. We are proud of our commitment to service and know it reflects who Sun Glow is.
David, the President of Sun Glow Inc., began his journey at Sun Glow at the age of fourteen. What started as a summer job to repay his parents for a window he accidentally damaged, led to a lifelong passion. By the end of that first summer, he told with his father his dream to one day lead the family business.

In the following summers, David worked during school breaks. After graduating, he attended college while holding a part-time job, earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering before advancing to OIT for a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Almost ten years ago, David took on the role of the General Manager of Sun Glow. Just four years ago, David and his wife, Dawn, acquired Sun Glow and have continued in their family's legacy.

Outside of work, David is highly committed in his community, much like his father Ed. He participates in a variety of committees, driven by a goal to establish a lasting legacy for not only his family but for all those he meets.
