Sun Glow takes pride in our 40 years in the Portland community, addressing the HVAC needs of thousands residential properties and enterprises.
Established by Ed and Sharon Golobay in the year 1972, Sun Glow Inc. was built on the belief of providing exceptional service. This identical principle of exceptional service is the cornerstone that next generation owners the Golobay siblings continue.

Throughout our history, Sun Glow has given back the local community, with the conviction that the prosperity of our family-owned business should not only satisfy the demands of our employees, but also support the requirements of our community when resources allow. We take pride in our commitment to service and feel it shows who we are.
Our President, David Golobay, began his journey at Sun Glow at the age of 14. What initially was as a seasonal role to compensate his parents for a window he accidentally damaged, turned into a commitment to the family business. By the end of that first summer, he expressed with his father his wish to one day manage the company.

For the next five summers, David returned during the summer months. After graduating, he enrolled in college while holding a part-time job, earning his associate's degree before progressing to OIT for a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Nearly a decade ago, David was appointed the GM of Sun Glow. Just four years ago, David and his wife, Dawn, acquired Sun Glow and have carried on in their family's footsteps.

Beyond his professional life, David is actively engaged in his surroundings, much like his father Ed. He is a member of a host of councils, driven by a commitment to leave a positive impact for not only his children but for all those he meets.
