Avoid using this company! They put a quick fix on my plumbing issue and it had to be redone in 3 months. This cost me additional money to have a ceiling repaired twice because the plumbing was not fixed correctly the first time. Thank goodness I did not sign up on their package deal! They need to hire experienced plumbers!

On time service and they completed the job. That is the good part, however they charged more than twice for the job. A outright blatant ripoff!7

I had them come out and they did a leak test . I had a coupon for a free service call but then after the service was preformed I was told that the coupon didn't apply because that is a diagnostic test not a service. WTF .! So that added another $89 to my bill .That's just messed up if you ask me .Won't be using them again.

I would give zero stars if it would allow me. Called for emergency service on Sunday, May 8, 2016 was told someone would call me within 30 minutes. That was around 3:57p. Never heard from anyone. Ended up fixing it myself, called them back at 7:59p to provide feedback and cancel my service was only told she would put in a second request to the plumber on call. The operator was professional enough but did not seem bothered in the least about my problems. Would not recommend using this service even in an emergency.

I also responded to an offer of a ""precision tune-up and professional cleaning"" for $54. They came to my house on Feb. 15. I was shown a picture on an iPhone of possible mold growing in my furnace, and I was given three options of things that needed to be done to my furnace ranging from $742 to $2212. Although my furnace was working fine before they came, the next day my furnace was not working properly. The temperature was 60 degrees even though it was set at 66 degrees. I had my regular heating company come out to check on it. There were wires pulled off of the blower capacitor. This caused the control board and the main limit switch to short out. Long story short, I had to replace the control board, which cost me an additional $445, for a total of $499 when there wasn't anything wrong with my furnace to begin with. By the way, the ""mold"" turned out to be a little rust which isn't hurting anything.

If you receive one of these advertisements with a good price for a check-up or a tune-up, I recommend that you throw it away. I don't know if the wires were left off of the back of my furnace intentionally or through negligence, but either way I would not recommend Summers Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning of Franklin to anyone.

They say 24hr service but the techs never call you back when you have an emergency at 3a! When you have to call their service back several times before anyone can be reached. Horrible.

I called Summers for a ""second quote"" as I had already gotten a primary quote from my existing HVAC company. Brad from Summers was my tech/sales rep. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, not ""salesy"" overall pretty easy to talk with and get straight information from. We were customers of another HVAC company and were happy with their maintenance but had never had any experience of installing a WHOLE HVAC system with them or anyone. So basically I was going off the sales peoples' word and years in business etc. The two systems that were quoted were of different manufacturers, both good; Trane vs Lennox. Interestingly enough after having Brad came out and being impressed with his offer I web searched Summers of course. I was taken aback when several of the reviews were very negative. I called Brad about it and he stated that he agreed this looked bad but assured me this was a small sampling and Facebook had a more positive overview. I told him that if I went with Summers and he delivered on what was promised I would write a glowing review... and if I was not impressed that I was going to roast him;) Basically what it came down to was that the Summers quote included higher capacity equipment, longer warranty and extended maintenance programs for the same price as the Trane quote. Wesley and Aaron were our primary install team and they did a great job, clean, fast, and really tidied up the furnace area including wiring and drainage pipes. They didn't just slap the stuff on and around the new furnace, they really used their skill and craftsmanship to do it right! thanks guys:) So from using a 13 year old heat pump now switching to a top of the line lennox gas furnace... WOW, what a difference in comfort. Now we haven't had a really harsh winter or anything but I really can't believe how nice and QUIET this system is! Very happy so far and Summers has called me back when I called and even followed up with me of their own volition several times to makes sure everything is working great and I was completely happy. So far Summers you have knocked it our of the park!

They came out to do a ""tune up"" on a furnace. Said it was in terrible condition, had to be shut down, and quote us a price of over $5,000 for a new furnace. We got a quote from a competitor (Coovert Heating in Muncie) for the exact same make and model of furnace at half the price. Needless to say, we didn't got with Summers. They had a very high pressure salesman, which we don't appreciate.

Last July my AC quit working. I made an appointment with Summers. They arrived at the scheduled time. The tech was very personable, neat and professional. He diagnosed a bad motor run capacitor. After it was replaced the system tripped due to high pressure. After letting it run manually the pressure checked in range. The unit has run properly since servicing. The service cost $206. The part online costs $10-30. Considering a 20% mark up on the part the service call cost $166. Roughly $80 an hour. Not much different than taking your car to a dealership.

Thank you so, so much for working on my water heater on a Sunday, and doing such a great job, and not overcharging in my book. I am so very happy with the service Mike gave me, and would definitely recommend this service to my local friends.
