These guys are FANTASTIC! Looking here on Yelp, most of the biggies like Roto-Rooter had poor reviews. I prefer to support locals anyway, so I took a chance with CSnake. Had a major bathroom backup, shower, tub, toilet, sink. I called and they were here in 20 minutes as promised. They assessed the situation and clearly explained what the problem was and the estimate. We have an older house without trap access from the back, so he had to remove the toilet to run the snake. He first put down floor protection (surprise!). I believe he exceeded the minimum 1 hour charge, but only charged me for an hour. Unbelievable! When he was done, he reinstalled the toilet (even better than it was), cleaned up all the mess and deodorized the room - sweet! I highly recommend them and will use them for all future work. Yes, they don't have new fancy shiny work trucks like the biggies, but don't let that fool you! ""William"" is the man!!

I came home from vacation to find my water heater leaking. After being unsatisfied with the plumber dispatched by my home warranty company, and in a fit of frustration, I called William.

He arrived 15 minutes later. Professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, William diagnosed the problem and patiently answered all of my questions. After fixing the initial problem, we discovered another leak in the water heater that wasn't repairable. Rather than put off the major job of replacing my water heater until the next day (it was after 5pm at this point), William called in an extra set of hands (his son, Curtis) to get the job done that night.

After wrestling with some complications getting the new water heater to fit into the closet in my condo and 5 1/2 hours later, I had a working water heater. Both William and Curtis took their time, made sure the job was done right, and never balked at the late hour.

They did a wonderful job. And, most importantly, I have every confidence in the work they did. When it comes to plumbing, it pays to use a professional and William is definitely that with his 23 years of experience.

A leaking water heater is not what you want to come home to after vacation. But it was worth it to discover William and C-Snake Plumbing. He's my go-to plumbing guy from now on!

I had an abysmally clogged kitchen sink and tub that I had tried for days to fix. I called C-Snake Plumbing and talked to William about the problems I was having.

William was quick to come out and help, keep in mind this was at 6:45 at night. William showed up in a timely manner, had the right tools with him and was courteous enough to wear little foot slippers when he came in the door.

He got right to work and within a few minutes the pipes were off and he was running the snake down the drain. After doing this for a little while, he reassembled the plumbing and ran water through the system. After this first attempt did not work he clearly explained why he thought it did not work, what he needed to do different and got right back to disassembling the pipes again. No complains, no sighs or any sort of negative vibes. You just get the impression he likes to get the job done right. After the second attempt he was able to clear our the drain just as he expected.

Let me tell you as a guy who has a hobby of cooking, not having a functional kitchen sink is not fun. I was ecstatic when everything was working again. Anyhow William owns/runs this company and you can see his pride in his work. His knowledge about plumbing hardware was fluent and precise. He is a genuine friendly local guy and I will call him again if anymore plumbing problems come up.

As a side note he charged me what he said he would and did not add any extra complications to the bill at the end. I like that sort of a deal.

BEWARE, this guy is no more than a handyman with a website, he is NOT A REAL COMPANY, he is committing fraud and cannot protect his customers financially.

I was lucky enough to have researched a little before I called someone out and realized I could have had a whole headache of issues had I used this plumber. I recommend calling Bell, they know what they're doing, and are legit are affordable

We needed a plumber right away as is usually the case when you need a plumber and William at C-Snake responed immediately. He was at our house within an hour, fixed our very clogged sink and was done an hour after he arrived. We couldn't have asked for better service at a fair price.

Woke up this morning to what I had thought was a circuit breaker problem only to have PG&E discover that my sump pump was broken and my basement was semi flooded due to the recent rain. Needless to say I knew I needed a plumber quick. I did my research as quickly as I could and due to the great reviews on yelp decided to give William a call and I'm glad I did.

William was on time, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and had fair pricing. He asked me a few questions and was able to determine the best course of action that was the most economical. Not once did I feel he was trying to pull a fast one on me because I knew nothing about plumbing. He educated me on the different types of sump pumps, how they worked, and what preventative measures I can take to prolong the life of my new pump. I had my old one removed and replaced with a new one in no time. He also provided a 1 year factory warranty on the pump as well as a one year warranty on his own work!

I will definitely be calling him back in the future for any plumbing issues I may have.

i have a salon and i called this place, and he is there ! i love people or business that are professonal and follow . if you are looking for a good business to unstop a sink or just tighten up a bowl like i did call them .... very friendly and fast......! I AM A WOMAN WITH A BUSINESS HE DID NOT TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME ,WITH SOME HIGH COST QUOTES . HE WAS HONEST , AND TOOK HIS TIME WITH ME !

I found William on Yelp with such great reviews, I called and he came out to see my leaking toilet. He really took his time, explained things in great detail and on my level. He was able to tell me the issue was far greater than my toilet, so now it's a matter of the landlord approving the work tomorrow.

I appreciated his attention to detail, the time he took to explain things to me and the willingness to get the job done today (too bad the landlord was not on site to authorize).

I came home this morning to find William working on the sewer pipes and was so happy to see him!

Several hours later, he completed the job and was professional the entire time. I called to thank him for all of his work. I would def. rec. him in the future. 5 stars well deserved!

New Years Day 2010 -

Its morning and the kitchen sink backs up and is dripping all over under the cabinet from a leak in the drain pipes. After calling 2 big-name plumbing companies and getting attitude from smarmy girls of around 20-ish who clearly knew nothing about either plumbing OR customer service, plus having no openings until Monday afternoon I reached for the magnetic postcard/ calendar ad on the refrigerator. While it was a little tricky to make out the name of the company (C-Snake is represented by a ""C"" and a drawing of a snake, but not spelled out anywhere. I though it was ""C-S Plumbing"", because the Snake is in an ""S"" shape and so had a hard time finding the Yelp listing) the phone number and other information was clear and to the point.

William, the business owner, answered my call (no sassy teenie-boppers!) . He was courteous, forthcoming with information and an estimate and able to come the same day.

His work was fast, tidy and thorough, and the total was within $10 of his original estimate as he discovered a second leak in the connecting pipe and had to replace it as well. He even brought his own shoe-covers to wear in the house (thank you!).
