The name Sugar Bear originated as a fun moniker, yet it transformed into a name that truly represents us.
What sets Sugar Bear apart from the competition is I wanted to develop a brand that is distinct and memorable.
I prioritized hearing what our community has to say about service providers.
I trained my team to communicate effectively, to take the time needed to evaluate systems and deliver the right solutions, while ensuring cleanliness from start to finish.
We purchase the best tools and vehicles, and we provide training for our technicians on how to use them effectively.
I aimed to give clients options for repairs, so they can make informed decisions about their investments.
My vision was to create a lasting service company, bringing on board the best team members who are committed to helping people.
As a second-generation plumber, HVAC, and electrical technician, I kicked off my service career in 1996 at a local business in San Bruno, and that’s how I came to be known as Sugar Bear.
I ventured into different fields, yet plumbing always felt like my true vocation.
I find joy in helping others; troubleshooting issues, finding solutions, and making repairs brings me joy.
Seeing the happiness on people's faces is rewarding.
I have provided for my wife and our five kids for more than twenty years, duplicating my skills and services for other technicians.
Seeing our progress over the years is incredibly humbling and inspiring, and I am grateful for the support from families, community members, out-of-town property owners, and local businesses.

Laureen S.Sugar Bear Plumbing came out last night (the day after Christmas), on a plumbing emergency that my neighbor was experiencing. I had called another company, and they had no one available at that hour, but Sugar Bear came through! They came out in the rain, after hours, and fixed the plumbing emergency. Technician was knowledgeable, kind, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!!

Khristin W.I cannot say enough good things about Sugar Bear and, specifically, about Lawrence who came to help me with our hvac. He was professional, knowledgeable and lovely to have in my home. He helped me work through some maintenance issues then patiently walked me through how to take care of these on my own going forward. This is my second experience with Sugar Bear (they replaced our hot water heater earlier in the year), and both have been fantastic. Home repairs can be so fraught and Sugar Bear has certainly made it less so for me. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

He was very professional and explained the issues and solutions thoroughly. He efficiently fixed our issue and made sure I was satisfied. He also didn't leave a mess for me to clean up. All in all, very satisfied and would recommend Sugar Bear and Chris!

Ori L.terrible experience - verbally said would offer specific services that were then not included in written quote. Once repair work was being done, tried to chair more for the final air shaft (because they had to remove one piece of plywood). Would not use this company again.
