The owner wrote me a message accusing me of this not happening with his company, I wrote him back and provided the month and invoice number of the work he did and also let him know that his name was at the bottom of the invoice. I also offered my husband to email him so he could go over the entire situation with him so he could better understand our experience. I never heard back from him.

I give Greg and April my highest endorsement of all things I have ever reviewed on Yelp. We knew for some time we would need to replace our sewer later from our cleanout to the middle of the street about 70 feet away. After putting it off for a while, we were finally given no choice when the line started backing up resulting in sewage coming out of the cleanout. I had called a couple of companies long before this, and got a few quotes, but decided to call Streamline after they were recommended by someone I know.

Though I did not get a call back on Sunday, April was the first of the companies to call me back on Monday morning. I was anticipating needing to run home from work to meet Greg, but April told me that as long as the work area was accessible, he could go there and generate a quote asap. Within 2 hours I had the quote in my email. I will not announce the exact price as I respect their need to be able to adjust prices for people as circumstances require, but I will say that I paid between $6-$7k.

We did have to wait a week for them to commence work as they were pretty tied up at that time, but we were able to utilize our system sparingly while waiting for the work to start. When work did commence, I did not need to be home at all. The crew arrived just after 7am, and wrapped up by 5pm. The only work that had to wait a couple of days was concrete repair as it started to rain late in the day and continued a few days after.

The scope of work was pretty straightforward; concrete demo, replacement of two cleanouts, new 4"" hdpe pipe between the street main and the cleanout installed via the pipe burst method, and repair of concrete. They also took care of all permits which were included in the original quote.

They really made it as stress free on my wife and I who both have regular jobs, and are not able to be home easily whenever things like this happen.

What really drives my recommendation up is the fact that they came back recently when we called on them after discovering a leaking drain pipe running from our kitchen to the cleanout that they replaced. I was expecting them to come out to tell me how much it would cost to fix this as it entailed about 30 feet of new pipe with some concrete demo and replacement, and excavation. Greg came out to take a look the next day, and said he would have a crew fix it the next day. It was repaired within 48 hours of us discovering it, and we were not charged for it.

Streamline is quick to respond, efficient in their work, help make the situation as stress free as possible, and go the extra mile when it comes to customer relations. If I ever need some plumbing work done in the future (and I probably will), they will be the first company I call.

My sewer line had backed up at least 3 times in the last 2 years. I hired one of those big rooter companies twice, and another big rooter company on the last one to clear the blockages because it was a rental property and didn't want to cause tenants any inconvenience and I also fear of the raw sewage backing up on the tub and shower. The first rooter company told me to replace the entire lateral and it will cost at least 5K. The last rooter company said their is no root in my pipe but there is an offset and I should replace the pipes because eventually it will break/collapse. I didn't want to get to the point of emergency so I contacted three companies who have high ratings on Yelp. Streamline is one of them. Greg, the owner came on time to give me free estimate. He ran the camera down the line, showed me and explained to me what we were looking at. He said that my line is in good condition, could last another 50 years. He did not give me an estimate because it didn't need to be replaced. However, he pointed out that there is sign of root intrusion and advised me to repair that portion of the line only. I was very happy to know my pipes are good, and very blessed to have found Greg!

If you need to have your sewer line done in the East Bay, then this is definitely the only company that I would recommend for you to choose. April, who works in the office and Greg, who actually does the job with his team are the most caring business people as they would go out of their way to help your situation, even if it's the worst case scenario. I have never felt this sort of professionalism and encountered this kind of care from any company that I've worked with in the past. Huge thanks to both April and Greg and their team!

Thank you for coming to our rescue!!! We needed a sewer lateral repair/replacement completed before the close of escrow, which was a week away. Greg came out and gave us an estimate on the same day that we called him. He gave us an appointment within the week. We got our certificate before the holes were even filled back in! Greg came out in the rain to give a free sewer line inspection. Our house is
70+ years old and we were braced to hear the worst case scenario. Instead,
Greg announced the good news that our pipes had actually been replaced at
some point and would therefore hold up for many years. Greg would not take any payment for the inspection. In our 27 years in the same house and dozens of
home repair and improvement projects, my husband and I have never encountered
this kind of exceptional free service! By virtue of this unusual and positive experience (and after reading the 5-star reviews), if there had been a problem, we would have had Streamline do the work.

We needed to replace 140 feet of sewer lateral because of recurring tree root obstructions. Streamline's bid was the lowest, and they did their work accurately and on time. Greg was also able to persuade the City of Oakland to charge us a minimal ""Creek Permit"" fee. One of the other bidding companies had told us that this fee would be 6x higher than what was actually charged by the City after Greg spoke with them.
Though we hope never to have to do this again, we were very pleased with Streamline's work from start to finish and recommend them highly.

Streamline replaced about 100 feet of our sewer line by trenchless last week. The job was done efficiently and quickly. Their bid was the lowest given the scope of work. All permits and certificates were obtained and given to us right after the work was completed. The repairs to the street and sidewalk look very good. The job site was left cleaner than it was before and there are two new clean outs placed in convenient locations.
I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.

Great work: most reasonable bid, arrived early, finished early, scheduled the inspection with the city for that day and I had my certificate of completion before the end of the evening.
