We have had a main line sewer problem for couple of years. Tree roots had broken into the sewer line and had been causing problems for us. We had the line snaked couple of times, and finally we decided to have it fixed. The plumbing company we originally asked to do the job referred us to Streamline because our home is on a hill, and they were not sure if they could do the job. After talking to April and Greg, we got a quote and then an appointment. They showed up on time, finished the work on time, and they were not a penny more than what they quoted us. Their crew was professional. Cleaned up after they left, showed me pictures of the problem. I talked to Greg after the work was done, and he said the inspection afterwards looks great, and that we might need to replace the main sewer line in the next 20 years! I think I can start saving for that! Thanks to all their team! From April to Greg, and all his crew. We will recommend you to family and friends for serious plumbing work!

dishonest company!

hired them to do replace sewer lateral, which they did. however, while doing the work, they managed to crush one of our gutter's flex pipes (which lead from the gutter's downspout about 15 feet down the lawn and out to the street. while the replacement itself was done on time (which is why i'm giving them two stars, rather than one star), i suggested they pay to replace the flex pipe ($60) either directly, or by deducting it from the cost of the work (which was close to $7k).

after a couple days of going back and forth, april informed me that greg would ""take a look"" and then get back to me. two days later, the flex pipe appeared fixed, so i figured greg (or whoever) had purchased a flex pipe to replace the crushed one and replaced it, so i thanked them, paid them for their work, and we went our separate ways.

several months later, i was checking in on some drainage problems dealing with the gutter / flex pipe, and to my shock / dismay / disappointment, i found a section of the flex pipe that was crushed, same as before! instead of replacing the flex pipe, greg (or his team) detached the flex pipe, flipped it around (so the crushed part was further from the house, and not as visible) and re-attached it to the gutter downspout.

what the ... ?

so very disappointing. i can't believe greg's team opted to take this route, rather than simply paying for (or replacing) the flex pipe. i have dated pictures that prove that the current crushed flex pipe section is exactly the same section i complained about earlier.

honesty and integrity go a long way - and really speak for a company's character. if this dishonest route is what they opted for here, what other questionable decisions have they made in the past (or will they make with you)?

5 stars for Greg and the Streamline team. They made the cumbersome sewer lateral requirement in Oakland, a breeze! Greg came to my house and gave me an estimate, and we set up an installation appointment that day. Not only was Greg very knowledgable about his business, but he also took the time to explain its importance for the ground water and sewage plants in the Bay Area. Greg's crew showed up on time for installation, and worked quickly and efficiently. They put everything back together in my yard, as if they were never there! Two days later, they emailed me my certificate of compliance, and that was that. Streamline made the process easy and convenient for me. Thanks guys!

Streamline did my sewer lateral. They have the best price i town, and was $4000 cheaper than the first estimate I got. Would love to give them 5 stars but there were a few problems along the way. However, the quality of the service is great. The owner addressed all of my concerns quickly and with excellent attention to detail. The problems have since been resolved and I am very happy with the service i received. The owner leaves a strong impression he cares about the quality of work his company performs.

I selected Streamline Plumbing because they specialize in sewer laterals. This is very demanding work, requiring special equipment and thoughtful engineering -- not in the purview of a general plumber.
On meeting Greg, company owner, he impressed me with his engineering training and was able to describe the job scope and challenges of a new 120' sewer. All work was performed by experienced employees ; no sub-contractors. They offered :

Referred to Streamline years ago by a plumber, and have used them every since. They are extremely professional, have a great relationship with EBMUD (for quick compliance certificates for property transfers) and have been doing sewer work for 20+ years, this is all they do. As a realtor, it's critical to have a strong team and Greg/Streamline is certainly part of mine. No need to call anyone else!

Streamline has everything - a good estimator, reliable and easy-to-talk scheduler, and very professional and skilled crew. The estimate was reasonable and had no unnecessary frills. And I was so glad I chose them - the clogged up lateral sewer was the original with this 1940's old house, came with unconventional connections and no cleanout. Surprise branches extended its ""should-be"" pipe length a couple of more feet and added more not-so-easy plumbing work. I was afraid that they had to postpone EBMUD inspection, and that I had to take another day off to be around and maybe an updated invoice. But the crew worked really hard yet very thoroughly, finished all the work with enough time left to run the pressure test a couple of times for them and for me to see how well it was done. The EBMUD inspector was clearly pleased with their work, not to mention the test result.

Upon leaving, they cleaned up the site thoroughly as well. The invoice which I received later still had the original amount on it. They are so professional. For lateral sewer work, I can recommend them to anyone without a hesitation.
