Amazing service from Oscar at Stephens Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.

Moved into our house about a year ago and wanted to address a couple of items: 1) regular furnace inspection (since I wasn't sure the last time the furnace had been inspected) and 2) change the piping configuration for the gas supply line (a safety item identified in our homeowners inspection report).

It was easy to schedule the appointment for a day/time that worked best for me. On the day of the appointment, Oscar was right on time. He evaluated the piping configuration situation first and fortunately had the piping parts in his truck to make the home inspector's suggested improvements. Then he finished up with the annual furnace inspection. Oscar checked multiple points, washed the filter, did some routine clean up, and let me know there were no concerns with our 20+ year old furnace (living in SoCal, of course it hardly gets used).

Really appreciated that Oscar also took the time to point out our programmable thermostat was not fully wired; now we can turn on the furnace fan and circulate air during some of those hot summer months!! Maybe this will provide some relief since we don't have AC - maybe we will consider that in the future, and if we do, we will have Stephens put it in, for sure.

Only suggestion I would make is for the folks on the phone setting up the appointment. When I first called, I tried to explain what I wanted done with the piping change but the receptionist just said ""talk to the technician when he arrives"". Had I been able to share some pictures or explain the situation ahead of time, Oscar might have been able to stock his truck with the best assortment of parts he would need. It ended up working out ok but could have resulted in a ""second trip"" and associated charges if Oscar didn't have some spare parts on hand.

We needed to have the entire furnace and heating system replaced unexpectedly. Stephens gave us a detailed, comprehensive estimate and outlined precisely what work we would need and the total cost. It was a pretty involved job and needed asbestos abatement as well and they had the company scheduled and out the next day and then Stephens was here the next day. It was a two-day job and Freddy and the entire crew were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were respectful of our property and really efficient. They cleaned up after each day and we are very happy with the service and will use them for any future plumbing or heating needs. I can highly recommend them.

Had them come out to replace and install a new ac system. Freddy and Cody came all the way from the south bay. They were prompt and very personable. They explained what they were doing and showed us what we needed to do to maintain our system. They were able to get all of the work done in a couple of hours.

Today, Stephen's Plumbing & ac. A great team came to my home and installed a new AC pro ac system & furnace, it came with a great warranty of 10 years on parts, 3 years on labor, along with a new tstat. Freddy was very professional and knowledgeable on home systems , jT & Oscar very professional for the furnace removal of the old and the new system. This was a job I thought was 2 days, done in 8 hrs period. This being a mobile home, spaces are very tight, I will recommend this company to any of future home owners. Great job !

I called a couple of companies who didn't want to come out to address my problems with the heating and air. When I called Stephens, they told me that one of their employees would be calling me soon. Got the call from Oscar and he came out the next day as I requested. Quickly noticed the air conditioning problem and is ordering the part to fix the heater. Fast, friendly, and helpful. I'm hoping he will track down the heating element and get me in top shape shortly. Thanks for doing what others didn't want to deal with.

We had a pin hole leak in one of our pipes that was located and resolved; however, in the process additional issues were discovered during the inspection. Galan did a great job locating the source of the problem, identifying a solution and ensuring that the team followed through in resolving. We will definitely reach out to Stephens to assist us in the future.

Our gardener accidentally ran over the main sprinkler valve so after the water department shut the water off I called Stevens. Rico came out the next morning and was beyond helpful. He could have taken one look at the old pipes and recommended replacing the entire main line however spent the extra time carefully working with the rusted out pipes and found a solutionist that saved us a few thousand dollars. He could have gouged us but instead put in the extra effort to do the right thing. Need more people like that especially for first time home owners! 10/10 recommend
