Not the least expensive, but were available right away to replace the HVAC and ductwork on our residential roof in the midst of a major heat wave. They did a beautiful job. Showed up when they said they would, worked all day on the roof in the heat, finished on schedule, cleaned up after themselves, and were informative and courteous the entire time. They also worked around the roofer's schedule. Would hire them again in a second. Kudos to Oscar, Freddy and Sam for making it work out so well. We are in San Pedro, NOT San Francisco, BTW.

I cringe at the word plumber and when I went outside yesterday to see I had a leak I thought to myself oh crap! The Plumber we normally would use moved out of California and I didn't know who to use so I called my buddy who said he heard Stephens was reliable. That said I called and set up an appointment. I got the 30 minute away phone call which I appreciated because I like organization and punctuation. Our technician Art showed up toting his mask for safety and was very informative and explained everything that was going on with my leak. Art did a great job explaining the process and what he needed to do to fix my problem, as my boys and I were in his ear all day. He had to cut away quite a bit of pipe which looked like a jigsaw puzzle and replaced with brand new simplified pipe that really cleaned everything up. It was original plumbing that was replaced and whoever built this place in the 60s was a clown. Anyway Art was outstanding and will now be on our family Christmas Card list, I now have a plumber who I can rely on to shoot it straight. Highly recommend these guys

Was trying to help a friend in an emergency situation. He was having bad luck finding a service with reasonable rates, seeing as he is on a fixed income.

When I called, their service had a technician call me.

When I spoke to Galen, he informed me of the typical difference in who is responsible for what in mobile parks, as well as providing his company's rates. With that knowledge, plus knowing the home was able to have water stopped prior to entry; we were able to make a good judgement call to arrange for services during the day when rates are more manageable than middle of the night rates.

The technician who came out was able to diagnose the issue in under an hour, not speeding, nor taking his set time to drag out service. He apologies for not having certain necessary parts; completely understandable because of how this home had been piecemealed and the part necessary was not completely a standard, every day use item.

He arranged to come back the following day, showed up as promised and completed the work in the time estimated for the quote; this able to keep the quote true.

I HIGHLY recommend going with them.

And, I'm picky. I grew up the niece of a plumber AND having worked in the KB Homes Nevada, Inc Customer Home Warranty Department working with our construction vendors.

I called on recommendation from our pool guy to get my deck drains cleared out as the water was taking an extremely long time to drain after the last big rain we had a few months ago. Art and Luis arrived and jetted the drains. Unfortunately they discovered roots and a broken pipe in a section of the drains that needed to be dug up. Art came back the next day and dug the trench and pulled out as many roots as possible and replaced the broken pipe (which was also completely full of dirt and roots) and explained everything as he worked. Although Art was able to get the water to drain well, unfortunately some roots remain in a section that is under concrete which we have decided not to take care of at the moment. Art explained what would be needed in detail should we need/decide to take care of that in the future along with what we should regularly do to maintain our drains going forward. Art also tested our gas line for a future pool water heater install. Art then spent time cleaning the dirt from our deck after he completed everything. I would highly recommend Art and Luis for their professional work and attention to detail.

After having a very unsavory experience with another company, Stephens Plumbing came in and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary and costly replacements. Omar was punctual, professional, and very down to earth. He explained what the issue was with a small part and was able to fix my AC compressor with the inventory he had on hand in less time than the horse and pony show took with the other company. He also noticed that a washer that connected the high voltage wires to the compressor was cracked, so he offered to fix that as well to avoid any potential danger in the future. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I had a few companies come out to give me quotes to temporarily move my air conditioner, and return it when we needed, and Stephens gave me the best price, and great service. They were on time for both removal and return, very courteous, and kept the space very clean. They even placed the unit on a nice new platform. They made sure the air conditioner worked properly before they left. They reconnected everything, and checked everything to make sure it would work perfectly. I'm so happy I have AC again. They have a service answering their phone saying they will do a diagnostic test for 105. I told them I have a leak. Then he comes out saying it is 1250 for the day. Awful customer service!
