Took a long time to get the work done. Took off for 2 hours and claimed a 1/2 hour lunch. Are we supposed to pay for shopping time? Charges came in way too high. My mistake for not getting an estimate first.

Just to update my review below, we recently had Jeff replace a surface mounted bathtub water faucet as part of a bathroom remodel project. This was a really difficult job in that soldering the supply lines was complex and the access to the plumbing was really, really limited. Jeff handled it all in a competent and professional manner. We're really pleased with the results.

Six years ago, we had him replumb all of the supply lines and main in our 1950's rambler and over the six years, all is still great. I am a hardcore DIY'r and really like his workmanship, top notch. Jeff was great! I called him to come and handle a number of different issues in a new house we moved into (shower that didn't work, clogged sink, leaking pipes, improperly installed dishwasher), and he handled them all extremely well. He really took the time to explain what he was doing and why and made sure that he did a top quality job on each item. I felt very confident with everything he fixed, and his price was so reasonable for all the time he spent doing work! He does get booked up about a week in advance, so make sure you call and book early for any work you need done.

I needed a plumber to fix a broken bathroom faucet drain so I reached out to 5 different local companies requesting an estimate. Jeff was the first person to respond (same day). He provided me with an estimate and information on his availability. I appreciated the timely response with details, vs. a lot of phone tag/back and forth which is what I was getting from other plumbers. I went with Jeff because it was clear he respected my time and he was thorough. Not only was his estimate fair, but he called me the morning of the job to confirm, and then again after the job was complete to provide me with all of the details. Jeff was very flexible with my schedule. He was able to take out my hot water heater so I could paint and come back a different day to install the new one. Other plumbers quoted an extra $300 just to make the 2nd trip. He was on target with his estimate even after some part upgrades and helping me out to hook up the washer and dryer.

I called another plumber first who didn't return my call or email. Then I called Jeff. He returned my call the same day and was able to come over a few days later (it was a non-emergency situation). Polite, friendly, explained everything that needed to be done. His bill was less expensive than I feared, which was a relief! Would definitely call again.

Stellar Plumbing - Stellar Experience!!!

Jeff (the owner) was very responsive. He was at our house within the hour as he happened to have another appt cancel, came with the correct tools, correct supplies (see below) and a very courteous demeanor. He even took his shoes off when he came into our house. Pricing was more than fair - especially when I had already looked at other plumbers here and on Angie's List - they were asking for $200/hr. Stellar blew that away and I was happy to write the check!!!

The repair and reinstallation work that he performed was very tidy, clean and was truly the work of a journeyman plumber who takes his work seriously. He even noticed that the supply lines were not installed correctly and saved us from a serious bathroom flood! Jeff didn't try to upsell us. In fact, we asked him, 'while you're here, can you please take a look at this?' He re-installed our new dishwasher, fixed the drain vent setup and was just fantastic at explaining things as he went along.

We recently moved back into our home in Redmond, WA after having been gone for (7) years. It was a rental during that time and we had quite a few upgrades done during our move back in. The sinks that were installed in our granite counter tops didn't marry up to the original drainage stems (part that sticks out of the wall). After beating my head against the wall trying to get things to work, trying to get the faucet plungers to work correctly on these very fancy models we bought (Kenzo Price Pfister), etc. I needed to call a professional. I'm so glad that I did and even more glad that it was Stellar that I called.
