For over 22 years, we have been your reliable low-cost plumbing service in Bellevue, Seattle, and the Greater East Side of King County. I have been a resident of Bellevue since 1982.
Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest since 1963, I cherish this region. I started my plumbing journey at John Edwards Plumbing on Mercer Island, working under the namesake owner, a second-generation plumber, in 1981. This shop eventually became Rudy's Plumbing. I accumulated 19 years of experience there, adding to my overall 41 years in plumbing. I have worked on a variety of projects, from dental office installations to plumbing fountains in upscale homes, schools, libraries, churches, hospitals, high-rises, hotels, and nearly every type of plumbing system you can think of. I hope to assist you with your plumbing requirements soon! Thank you, Jeff Driscoll.

Jeff is absolutely amazing! He has done several projects for us over the years ranging from replacing toilets to plumbing new outdoor faucet. His quality and expertise is unmatched.

Six years ago, we had him replumb all of the supply lines and main in our 1950's rambler and over the six years, all is still great. I am a hardcore DIY'r and really like his workmanship, top notch. We have referred him to many neighbors and all have had great experiences. He is so good, that we are having him add some upgrades and replace our drain lines.
Keep up the good work Jeff, you're an awesome plumber!

Jeff was great! I called him to come and handle a number of different issues in a new house we moved into (shower that didn't work, clogged sink, leaking pipes, improperly installed dishwasher), and he handled them all extremely well. He really took the time to explain what he was doing and why and made sure that he did a top quality job on each item. I felt very confident with everything he fixed, and his price was so reasonable for all the time he spent doing work! He does get booked up about a week in advance, so make sure you call and book early for any work you need done.

I needed a plumber to fix a broken bathroom faucet drain so I reached out to 5 different local companies requesting an estimate. Jeff was the first person to respond (same day). He provided me with an estimate and information on his availability. I appreciated the timely response with details, vs. a lot of phone tag/back and forth which is what I was getting from other plumbers. I went with Jeff because it was clear he respected my time and he was thorough. Not only was his estimate fair, but he called me the morning of the job to confirm, and then again after the job was complete to provide me with all of the details. If you want timely professionalism at a reasonable price, look no further. STELLAR!

Jeff shows up when you need his help, his repairs don't leak, his prices are reasonable, and he doesn't try to sell you services you don't need. He even counseled me on how to avoid frozen pipes in the future. Jeff shows a real concern for his customers.

Jeff was very flexible with my schedule. He was able to take out my hot water heater so I could paint and come back a different day to install the new one. Other plumbers quoted an extra $300 just to make the 2nd trip. He was on target with his estimate even after some part upgrades and helping me out to hook up the washer and dryer.

I called another plumber first who didn't return my call or email. Then I called Jeff. He returned my call the same day and was able to come over a few days later (it was a non-emergency situation). Polite, friendly, explained everything that needed to be done. His bill was less expensive than I feared, which was a relief! Would definitely call again.

Stellar Plumbing - Stellar Experience!!!
Jeff (the owner) was very responsive. He was at our house within the hour as he happened to have another appt cancel, came with the correct tools, correct supplies (see below) and a very courteous demeanor. He even took his shoes off when he came into our house. Pricing was more than fair - especially when I had already looked at other plumbers here and on Angie's List - they were asking for $200/hr. Stellar blew that away and I was happy to write the check!!!
The repair and reinstallation work that he performed was very tidy, clean and was truly the work of a journeyman plumber who takes his work seriously. He even noticed that the supply lines were not installed correctly and saved us from a serious bathroom flood! Jeff didn't try to upsell us. In fact, we asked him, 'while you're here, can you please take a look at this?' He re-installed our new dishwasher, fixed the drain vent setup and was just fantastic at explaining things as he went along.
We recently moved back into our home in Redmond, WA after having been gone for (7) years. It was a rental during that time and we had quite a few upgrades done during our move back in. The sinks that were installed in our granite counter tops didn't marry up to the original drainage stems (part that sticks out of the wall). After beating my head against the wall trying to get things to work, trying to get the faucet plungers to work correctly on these very fancy models we bought (Kenzo Price Pfister), etc. I needed to call a professional. I'm so glad that I did and even more glad that it was Stellar that I called.
Stellar is the plumber's business card that we'll keep on our refrigerator!
Alex - Remond, WA

I just reactivated my account to add reviews again. I've been waiting to give my feedback on Jeff. I have to say I was kind of surprised by the one super negative review.
Jeff answered my call promptly and also arrived pretty close to the appointment time. We had a leaking pipe to be fixed among other minor issues to be attended to like a broken flush lever and a very intermittent but annoying leak in the bath room sink. Since this was a newly purchased house, chose to get a professional instead of messing things up myself.
Turned out to be a good decision - Jeff spent about 2.5 hours at our place doing the repairs and the bill came in at about $370 including parts. Having dealt with other plumbers where the bill fluctuates out of bounds of reason, I felt this was kind of reasonable. Jeff was personable and polite and you can't ask for much more.

Our costs to hire Stellar Plumbing, we were out about $135 in parts they ruined and the weeks it took waiting for them to return calls and then hiring others to do the job right.
I have worked with contractors including plumbers for over 10 years. Our two regular guys were busy so I checked yelp. I saw the good reviews so I hired Stellar Plumbing to set a tub in concrete.
He showed up, but he didn't set the tub in concrete. He did not dry fit (e.g. put it in place without gluing it) the tub into the space nor the drain kit to the tub. Instead with the tub not yet in the correct location he attached the drain pipe to the abs stub coming out of the floor and glued everything together. Only then did he go to put the tub in place and found out the tub didn't fit in the space (the alcove back wall was a little too narrow). He said anyone could finish the job and when I said what about setting the tub in concrete, that this is what he had been hired to do, he seemed very surprised, like he never knew that. Then he proceeded to call the boss to discuss the job in detail (what he did, what he could not do, what was being done next, etc.). Now if this is supposed to be a one man company, who was at the job site and who was ""the boss"" he was calling to discuss what he had done and what he should do next?
I was very skeptical if the portion of work that as done had been done right because if the drain pipe for the overflow & drain openings are off 1/4"" you are forcing the abs into place and fastening it there (e.g. it is being stressed forever and will fail early) or worse if you have to tilt it some to get the abs to be flush with the tub wall it does not create a good seal with the installer just hoping that the gaskets will fill in the difference enough to make it work (e.g. one side of the gasket is over-tight against the tub wall and the other one is just barely tight against the tub wall).
When I expressed concern with the work having been done in this order (I have never seen it done in this order nor would I do it in that order myself because of the problems it caused), he replied ""I am a professional"". A professional would have a discussed the issue, just saying that doesn't mean he knows how or does a good job.
I wanted to give Stellar plumbing the benefit of the doubt so I left things as we will widen the alcove back corner and then call him about the next step. Well, when I checked the work done (putting the drain kit on and ptrap in and attaching it to the pipe coming from the house).
I found severe problems which resulted in the entire work done needing to be ripped out and redone. The reasons why:
1) They violated the plumbing code by using the wrong fittings in the wrong places so it would never pass an inspection and be a place that is would be prone to clogs in the future. Note: We had provided a number of fittings of which at least 3 configurations could have been put in that would not have violated plumbing code.
2) He didn't bother to dry fit the drain kit to the tub before he glued it and it turns out though it was adjustable in length, the horizontal piece under the drain at the shortest length was 3/4"" too long and would never fit. The drain kit & tub were from the same manufacturer and sold as working together but it would never work (the manufacturer said just take it back and get a different style).
I called Stellar plumbing several times over several days and left two messages but never got a call back. We gave up after a week and had someone else cut out his work and put in new parts that were to code and fit and do the original job that Stellar plumbing was hired for - setting the tub in concrete. He sent a bill for 2 hours of work, he should have showed up, spent 15 minutes dry-fitting the tub in the alcove, and left without doing any other work.
He finally called a few weeks later asking for his money, the issues were explained, he would not discuss them and I told him I knew a couple of the pluming inspection supervisors and we can run it by them, he just talked a lot of nonsense without listening or having a back and forth conversation - I think he was drunk.
Our costs to hire Stellar plumbing:
@$65 - the drain kit that has been glued to abs and could not be returned.
@$20 - abs parts we supplied and he glued together so they could not be reused.
@50 - money spent on workers to help him move the tub in place and to manage his work.
If you don't know plumbing codes or best plumbing practices, do not hire Stellar plumbing. Your cost would be @$500 to tear out the walls and clean up the mildew/mold/dryrot caused by leaks in the abs pipe and then pay to have it all done again.
