After becoming increasingly frustrated with the service techs from the company that originally installed the extensive and sophisticated (8500 sf) snowmelt system at our home, I reached out to Steele Brothers HVAC in early December. I spoke with Dave Donahoe, the company owner, and he arranged a complimentary appointment to meet me at my home with several of his team members who are certified and well versed in residential and commercial snowmelt systems. Within 10 minutes of the Steele Brother's team arrival and review of my system, I knew I had finally found knowledgeable technicians who truly understand all the components of a snowmelt system. Kevin and Steve went through the various settings on my system, set them appropriately (as many of them were not set correctly by our former HVAC company) and took the time to go through each setting with me to be sure I understood them. Kevin and Steve then proceeded to run my system through several tests, inspected my snowmelt boiler for gas leaks (which we had experienced in the past), and verified through multiple tests that our boiler and our Tekmar snowmelt controls were in sync and effectively communicating with one another. Dave and his service pros were at my home for about an hour and accomplished more for me in that one hour than what was ever accomplished by our former company over the course of multiple and more lengthy service calls.

After the visit from Steele Brothers HVAC, we experienced two snowfalls during which our snowmelt system worked efficiently and perfectly. An added and unexpected bonus was that after each snow fall, Dave Donahoe called me to verify that our system functioned as desired with no issues.

Steele Brothers HVAC has provided me with outstanding service. I am elated to have found such a knowledgeable, professional, and experienced local HVAC company that I am confident can effectively service and maintain my snowmelt system. I highly recommend this company.

I want to start this review by saying that these are GREAT PEOPLE and they did fantastic work for us! I'd use them again and would recommend them to friends and family!

I worked with Steele Brother's to install our air conditioning unit on top of our existing furnace. From the salesperson to the installers to administration, everything at Steele Brothers is top notch! They are professional, conscientious and committed to you being happy with your system!

As is always the case with big home improvement projects, especially ones that are retrofitting to an old house, there were some issues that arose throughout and after the project. These things are not ideal, but they are also part of the process of home improvement. What sets Steele Brothers apart, is that they responded promptly and did everything they could to remedy any problem.

Most companies I've worked with have essentially disappeared after the work was done, and it's almost impossible to have them come back out once they pass inspection. Steele Brothers definitely WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, to make sure we got the problems fixed and that we were happy with the work.

I can't recommend the team highly enough - from Mauricio to Justin, and everyone in between, this is a great company!!

Steele Brothers were hired as a subcontractor by a contractor doing a major renovation work in a property in Denver. They were hired to install two new furnaces and HVAC units, plus installation of ducting We found out after the job was over that the thermostats on both were not connected, and in the second furnace there was no 220 power to the unit, so the unit could not possibly have been tested. We have asked Steele Brothers to give us documentation for the work that was performed by the contractor to determine if they did what they were supposed to, and if not, to go after the contractor for failing to complete the work we paid for, but Steele has refused to release the specifications for the work they did. I had been promised the quote from the contractor, but never received it, but as the ultimate customer believe I am entitled to this as a matter of good business. Chris at Steele Brothers has refused to give us any information about the scope of work that was performed, which I certainly not helpful, as it ties my hands in taking the contractor into an action over this. It's likely not worth taking either of them to court, but I am disappointed that a reputable business would not provide the property owner with the scope of work. This makes me think possibly, they actually were responsible for not performing the full installation as required, else hard to see why they would object to this query about the work they were hired to perform by my contractor.

We had some miscommunication up front but the VP made it right. I would give them more stars if the issue was handled correctly the first time. I will use them again and I recommend their service. Once the issue was mentioned to them they jumped all over the chance to make it right. Make sure you double check you're in their system and that will make their understanding of your work order clearer.
