In October 2023, my kitchen drain clogged completely. I tried home remedies but they didn't work. On a Saturday, I contacted this business via Yelp. I received a quick response and estimate. I felt the estimate was appropriate. Daniel came the next day, Sunday, and fixed the clog. He is professional, communicative and friendly. He is prompt and knowledgeable. His work is of high quality. I would not hesitate to hire him/his company again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had several quotes from different plumbers and decided to go with Steady Flow Sewer and Drain. Dan and the other plumber fixed the leaks in a timely and skilful manner. We were very impressed with their work and the price was competitive too. They were friendly and left the place nice and clean. Jordan came out on time - HUGE plus - and was respectful of my property and time. No charge to inspect the issue. Gave me an estimate and replaced the wax ring on my toilet on the spot, and even gave me helpful pointers about how to make some simple repairs myself next time. I hope I don't need a plumber in the near future, but if I do these guys will be my first call!!

Hire Dan and his team if you want someone who is communicative, efficient, does the job right, and goes above and beyond. He's also great at explaining your plumbing issues and how he plans to fix the problems, along with recommendations on ways to cut costs on future work. This is helpful for someone who has zero knowledge about plumbing but wants to understand what's going on. 100% would rehire!

The detailed version...
Had a clogged drain at the washer and water was backing up into the laundry sink. Originally hired a different plumber to clear the clog but the project kept ballooning and I had to stop the work because I wasn't sure if the updates were necessary. They had made several cuts into the main drain line, too, so in addition to a clogged drain we also had a leaky drain. Found Steady Flow, spoke with Dan and they were willing to come out to give a free estimate and second opinion on the work. I hadn't made up my mind whether to continue with the original plumber or go with Steady Flow. After Dan gave his assessment and explained what he would do to fix the issues the right way, it was clear as day and a no brainer to have Dan finish the work. Their pricing was also competitive--not the cheapest but also not exorbitant like some other quotes we got, so it made me feel like their pricing was fair.

The entire process while working with Dan and his team made me feel so at ease. I mentioned things that the previous plumber said and Dan gave me his honest opinion on the right way to fix it, but also gave different options on pricing if I only wanted to fix certain portions of the drain. We decided to replace the main drain line with fixes to multiple connection spots that were done incorrectly from a previous renovation, and install a pressure reducing valve with a shutoff. He also fixed the slope of the drain to improve water flow. Dan was communicative throughout the 1.5 day project, letting me know when water or sink would be unavailable. He's also very transparent; showed me conditions of my old pipes and his recommendations for future fixes and what to do to save money. Him and his team were fast, efficient, and knew I worked from home so tried their best to minimize disruption.

For someone like me who doesn't know anything about plumbing but wants to understand the work, Dan was patient and explained everything so well, which gave me peace of mind if I ever needed to troubleshoot. Overall I highly recommend hiring Steady Flow for your plumbing needs. Very professional and top-notch work!

We had a pretty big and difficult job.
The estimates we received from Steady Flow Sewer Drain for the 1st and 2nd task were professional, and we received them in a timely manner. We got 3 bids and Steady Flow was more competitive than others.
However, the problem started at the 3rd and final task. They suggested new work that was somewhat unnecessary. After we removed it, they emailed us an unprofessional ONE sentence estimate -- the language of all the necessary procedures were not included in that estimate.
After plenty of back and forth emails, the final task was scheduled and done. Overall, we are just thankful that big headache is finally behind us and hope it's behind us for good!
P.S. One of their crew members -- Joseph Navarro -- was friendly, hard working, and informative.

We had a backup that was overflowing in our basement. We thought we could clear it, but it was too far down the line. We found Steady Flow on Yelp and had a very positive experience. They give free estimates, which is always a bonus. The job took quite a while, as clearing the pipe was more work than expected. But they stuck to their original bid and even gave us a discount for running late - so we had no surprise extra charges. Both Kyle and Jordan were polite, respectful and tidy while on the job.

We love local companies that are competent, professional, honest and ethical, which Steady Flow is all of those qualities. If we have a future backup, we will definitely use them.

Wow! Had the best experience with Kyle and his team. I am having a small cottage built in my backyard and Steady Flow is the plumbing company my contractor hired to install the sewer/water from the street to the build site. I was nervous because I wasn't sure if they were going to have to jackhammer the sidewalk to access the water supply or dig a hug trench from the street all the way into my backyard to hook up the sewer. And it turns out they didn't need to do either! They really know what they are doing, and their price was $20,000 less than one company we spoke with and $8,000 less than two other companies that came to the site. They are not trying to rob us believe it or not!!! Steady Flow actually charges fair prices and is clean, organized, quick and communicates well. We didn't choose them because they are 'cheap'. We chose them because they are 'fair'. I would hands down work with them again...hands down!

The service was fast and well done, however the plumber was not clear about how much additional service or charges would be. I don't know how other plumbing services do it, but I would imagine they'd be clear about how much a job costs before confirming an additional appointment. The plumber didn't mention any additional charges, and gave the impression that any additional cleaning of the main drain would be covered by the initial $550 charge. I ended up paying roughly an additional $500 for the second cleaning (which lasted about half an hour) and the price was told to me after the work was done. There should be solid clarity about how much any additional charges would cost before it is scheduled. Wanted to leave a balanced review in that the service was fast and responsive and I'm grateful for Dan's rapid availability - but it's unfortunate that there wasn't more clarity upfront about the cost. As long as there is more solid confirmation about how much any additional services/appointments would cost, this business would be perfect.
