Our pipes were banging when some faucets were used and our research suggested ""water hammer"". Got a list of plumbers from Wash Checkbook and checked their reviews on Yelp. Then called around. Prices were wildly different and some didn't service our area. Selected Star Plumbing based on reviews, price and ability to make an appt. Plumber came at the appointed time and confirmed our problem. Fixed in under an hour even with my husband hanging over his shoulder. Great job, will certainly be using again.

Quote for service call was given in advance and appointment window of 9-11 was booked. No show after 11, so I called company. Mark showed up after 1. There is no customer service without even so much as a courtesy call regarding delay. I will not use them again.

Had a leaking washing machine valve which was an extra problem since my washer is on the 2nd floor of the house. Came very quickly to repair the valve and then also installed one stainless steel hose which my new washing machine was SUPPOSED to come with, but when washer arrived it had the rubber hoses. They did not have 2 stainless hoses on the truck as I had not mentioned this issue when I called. Came back another day with the other stainless hose and did not charge anything for the hoses or 2nd trip. Seriously? Do you know anyone in this day and age who gives you something for free and even makes a free 2nd trip? Excellent!! Price was very very fair.

We had two plumbing issues (tub and toilet). Jason arrived, assessed the situation, and went straight to work. He explained what he needed to do (which involved some welding) and then, after repairing the bathtub did the work on the toilet. Turns out that the work I had done was 99% complete, just needed to go a bit tighter and the flapper was now properly sealed. Did not charge for the toilet and the price for the tub was hundreds of dollars less than elsewhere. I highly recommend Star Plumbing!

Best price by for a water heater by hundreds of dollars! Same brand water heater as others quoting me 400-600 more. Efficient, quick and we're able to install quickly given our old one leaked and went kaput. Highly recommend, no hidden charges, etc.

We had our old water heater replaced by Star Plumbing. The provided the best price compared with two other quotes we received and performed the installation on-time and without issues. Their team did a great job with the installation and even took the time to clean up some of the existing plumbing (replacing the saddle valve for the humidifier with a real valve and optimized some of the pvc drain lines from other HVAC components) all without any additional charge. I highly recommend the Star Plumbing team

I have limited experiences with plumbing but called Star Plumbing to get an estimate for some work in the kitchen and ended up using them for the work and was happy with the results.

I ended up needing new shut-off valves for the dishwasher and ice maker lines since the previous work was not reusable for the new appliances.

I spoke with Mark on the phone and explained my issues and he asked me to text him pictures of the current set up. I was able to do that quickly and he gave me an estimate for the work which seemed reasonable. It required the replacement of a couple valves for 4 lines. By comparison, my first estimate by our trusted HVAC/Plumbing company was twice as much for half the work.

I scheduled the service and Mark showed up right on time and completed the work very quickly, showing me the changes when finished and making sure I understood how the new valves worked.

I don't have any reason to believe the work is less than acceptable. If I have any issues I'll update my review, but I highly recommend Star Plumbing from today's experience.

The 'joys' of owning a home include taking care of your own plumbing problems! We found a small leak in our basement and immediately knew we couldn't handle it ourselves since the leak was coming out of the wall.

Thanks to a friend and a fellow yelpers, I found the plumber she recently used. Based on her review and experience, I immediately called Star Plumbing. They responded to me immediately and scheduled an appt the very next morning. Our plumber arrives exactly as promised. He was very diligent in determining the source of the leak without tearing up too much of our wall! After a few precise cuts, he found the source, performed his miracles repairs and gave us advice on some other issues!

This company is definitely on my emergency phone number list! I highly recommend them!
