I am sure I have written a review on Star Plumbing before but it may have been on a Vienna closed Facebook group.

I wonder if other plumbers get five stars but I would give them six if I could. I first used them when I moved to Falls Church in 2002 when I needed a new A.G. Smith water heater. I didn't pay much attention to price because I had so many other things to take care of.

I moved to Vienna in 2012 and somehow found that very old Star invoice AFTER I had already had Booze install an A.G. Smith water heater (same specs) for about $900. (In the intervening years I had used Booze exclusively. Having lived previously in Vienna from 1977 to 1998, they were the only show in town since there was no Internet to compare prices and I continued to use them in Falls Church for ten years--and always groused about their prices.)

Just out of curiosity, I anonymously called Star Plumbing and asked what the same water heater would have cost. SLIGHTLY OVER HALF!

Mark, a 30-year plumber, is always here quickly. Very professional, he gets right to work and doesn't spend any time with chit chat. PLEASE CALL THEM--save yourself money and get competent and fast service.

Used Star Plumbing today for multiple bathroom fixture & toilet repairs. Service (as provided by Jason) was responsive, efficient and highly professional. Rates were very reasonable. Jason also provided expert advise regarding future repairs and product selection without the hype or ""upsell"" so common in the industry. I highly recommend.

Based on multiple positive recommendations on another Web site, I decided to give Star Plumbing a call. The owner, Mark, called me back promptly. My problem wasn't urgent or critical so we scheduled a repair date. He showed up promptly and quickly figured out where the leak and problem were. He was probably done in less than 30 minutes. And the price was 1/3 or 1/2 of what I've been paying. So I am happy to announce that I have a new plumber.

I have used Star Plumbing twice already. They came recommended by my realtor. Mark who is the owner scheduled the repairs for me both times. Bruce and John came out to do the repairs both times (repair insinkerator, leaking kitchen faucet, replaced kitchen faucet, repair toilet flushing valve, and supply hose) and both times they were professional, courteous, and expedient. I have found my go to plumbing company and plan to call them for all future plumbing repairs. Pricing is also very honest and reasonable.

Our pipes were banging when some faucets were used and our research suggested ""water hammer"". Got a list of plumbers from Wash Checkbook and checked their reviews on Yelp. Then called around. Prices were wildly different and some didn't service our area. Selected Star Plumbing based on reviews, price and ability to make an appt. Plumber came at the appointed time and confirmed our problem. Fixed in under an hour even with my husband hanging over his shoulder. Great job, will certainly be using again.

Quote for service call was given in advance and appointment window of 9-11 was booked. No show after 11, so I called company. Mark showed up after 1. There is no customer service without even so much as a courtesy call regarding delay. I will not use them again.
