James the service manager reached out to me through yelp apologetic but unwavering in not giving me any "make it right actions". He did recognize me as a gold member I should get my 15 % off. The weird part after the yelp reach out is that the nice guy that replaced the new coils left a mess and somehow burned the styrofoam that holds up the unit. Also when paying for tech James didn't know who I was and did not acknowledge initially the 15% discount. I heard him talking to the tech and denied he emailed me or that I called him that morning and left a message to talk to him (he has yet to call me back so still waiting to talk to him). Very weird but I have to remember Stan's is all about the money and customer service is not very important to him. I will not purchase another unit from them and would encourage others to seek a better AC sercvice. I am sorry I was ropped into using Stan's. I feel like the person we dealt with before was nicer and cared about their customers. Let's see if James calls me back.

I recently had a split unit changed by Stan's and the experience was a wonderful as it was a year ago, when we had the other unit done. As a courtesy, they sent Jeff (one of their very well trained techs) to made sure all was running well. After confirming that all was in order he made sure I had all my questions answered, very courteous and knowledgeable. I can't say enough how happy I am with their customer service, from beginning to end of the process.

I was quoted $2600 to replace a condenser coil in my attic. I was fortunate enough to do research and found the part online at Acwholesalers.com for $258 delivered to my door.

The part I purchased came with a 10 year warranty and I paid 500 dollars for Integrity Heating and Air to cut out the old one and install the new one I purchased online.

Here's a lesson, if you're replacing a part, find out what part you need from a professional, buy the part online and have it delivered to your door, and find a reputable company (even Stan's if they would do it) to just do the install. I saved around $1800 dollars.

2 stars because Stan's wouldn't install the part I had purchased so I had to go with someone that would due to the cost savings.

A few months ago I had a new HVAC system installed on my townhome with Stan's and it was one of the most customer friendly experiences I've ever had! My neighbor a couple doors down is a lifelong Austinite and he's had three HVAC installations on various homes throughout the years and has always used Stan's so that's how I found out about the company.

The initial sales service presented me with a range of options, all which met or beat competitors and I went with a midrange one which included some Austin Energy rebates. Installation was very smooth and the installers were very professional and courteous during the process. I left for a couple months in Singapore days later but had the system running while away, controlled via a Nest app, with no issues. After the installation, I was also pleased that Stan's took care of all the registrations so I didn't have to bother with that.

While away in Singapore, Lauren was really good to contact me a couple times to ensure that I got my forms submitted for the Austin Energy rebate. I really appreciated how Stan's looks after that type of thing like it was their own money.

Today I had a service follow up to ensure everything continues to run smooth and the formality of the city inspector to approve it.

I can't say enough great things about Stan's as they really treated me like I was family. Stan's has the strongest recommendation I could possibly give and hopefully you can be as satisfied as I am!

Just no showed on a appointment we made weeks ago. "No record". Was going to have them fix several problems on a unit they appear to have installed. Guess they didn't need our business.

Had to share my experience with a representative from Stan's. Chris Hull came by to help me with the mess my A.C. was in. He was knowledgeable, polite, and did a great job. I had another contractor work on it last summer and he overcharged me, took forever and left it a jury-rigged mess. Chris figured out the mess that guy had left and identified the problems and outlined what I needed. Definitely the best service call I've ever had for any kind of work I've had done. I'm always using Stan's now and will always recommend them. Great job Chris and great job Stan's for having this guy on their team!

Prepare for getting an EXCESSIVE amount of sales solicitation calls & email spam after using their service. The sales people trying to promote their "spring tune up special" are really quite forceful & pushy... and telling them to remove you from the calling list has no effect. I still get calls weekly.

Then the emails start. Honestly I have never had a worse experience with any company that I have actually done business with. (sure I've gotten robo calls and been on scamming / spam email where unsubscribing simply does not work) But this is semi legit. I paid them for their services and now they annoy me to the extent that I have had to block their number.

Ironically, they did acceptable work. Little expensive, but within tolerable bounds.

Chris, ( Business Owner) I had a new AC installed and duc work, almost 10k of work, to find out the workmanship was crap, along with CO2 filtered through the " brand new" duc work into our family home..... and more... I will stop there with the countless errors, Stan's representative has come out to acknowledge the poor work.... I'm more than upset about it, but he was suppose to take it to his CEO or whoever else to make this wrong, RIGHT. There are many issues besides the poor workmanship, to include holes in the brand new ducs I paid for, etc etc etc etc etc etc....I will wait for you all to right this wrong, which won't fix the countless days of work we have had to interrupt and miss to get this work inspected by YOU ALL AGAIN.... email me Chris.

Stan's Heating & Air Conditioning doesn't care about their customers. They lead you to believe they do, but they don't ESPECIALLY if they decide they need to order a part to complete a repair. You are on your own at that point! They don't follow-up to let you know how long it will take or let you know where the part is. BUT, they do charge you an outrageous service fee just to come out. I had previously been a Stan's customer for 3 years when I called them to come out to fix my failed HVAC system before Christmas. They determined it was a failed fan motor and couldn't find one so they ordered it with a promise to have it that next week, then radio silence. That turned into 2 weeks with me calling them repeatedly. Of course, Austin had more than a couple of cold spells during that 3 week time. I had to have another contractor come in to do the repair. The new contractor sourced the motor and had it done within 2 days. I am STILL waiting on a call from a customer service manager at Stan's. DO NOT RELY ON STAN'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!!

My husband & I have used Stan's to maintain, service & (when needed) install new equipment, for many years. We have found their service to be without fault. Their technicians know the HVAC systems thoroughly, can correctly diagnose problems & then remedy them. They are also respectful in wearing booties so as not to track dirt & leaves into our house. We've had no complaints with Stan's whatever, and are happy to provide this very favorable review of their work.
