Upset with the switcheroo from what's told on the phone about pricing and then what's told when they arrive. I was told the fee for one time maintenance on tankless water heater was $149. When the guy gets here it is: $220 plus $98 service fee a total of $320! I even posted the $149 fee and information on our community website to tell others (who were also saying they needed someone). I showed the guy the posting and so, he miraculously came up with a coupon to "honor" the $149 price. I'm glad, but this is not cool on any level. Beware! this is BS.

While searching for a different service, I had Stan's come out to do an AC seasonal check to see if they would work out. All went well at the time. About two weeks later the AC unit was running constantly and was not cooling. I called Stan's and they came out to assess the problem. Turned out out it was a simple capacitor that had gone bad and it took him about 10 minutes time for the assessment and replacement of the capacitor.
They waived the service fee because they had just been out here; however, the charge for the capacitor and its installation was $295 + fuel surcharge. I searched for the capacitor online and found the same one on Amazon at a cost of $32.50! I called Stan's and inquired about the cost of a capacitor replacement and was told it was indeed $295 which includes labor. Thus, that 10 minutes of assessment and replacement was $261.50; that is an hourly rate over $1500. Excuse me for not changing my service to Stan's.

Gabriel was punctual and solve a myriad of issues. He was very oily even and explained things throughly. I was very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Stan's plumbing.

Brandon Brown, HVAC Technician, was so polite and knowledgeable! He called 20 mins before he arrived, did the semi annual cleaning of my HVAC unit. Told me so much info about my system. I really appreciate the time he took to let me know everything he checked. I highly recommend Stan's for your HVAC needs.

10/13/2022 I am experiencing what is usually the result of a bad run capacitor (replaced 7/7/2022) which is a no start on the fan on the condensing unit outside.
I replaced the run cap as "preventative maintenance" to avoid this very problem. Perhaps I just got a dud for a capacitor..

We called Stan to come in for emergency plumbing due to our softener explored. When Javier arrived, we told him what the issue was. So, he did not have to go thru "his diagnosis". Instead we asked how he can help fixed it, Javier came across condescending after I asked several questions. Instead of offering options, and possible solutions, he went to speak to my husband and told him that I did not understand him. That really pissed me off! Maybe I don't have a degree in "plumbing engineering", I certainly have a degree that is higher than him!
Stan needs to have better customer services and start educating their technicians, or Stan will lose their customer base. It's not even the money we paid. We paid $300 for 30min of his time. It's his attitude toward women. He thinks that we, as women, have no knowledge when it comes to plumbing! We had other Stan AC service before, and I have never run into people like him. I have no issue putting this feedback onto yelp and google.

I went to their webpage and they claim to be able to work on all and any water softeners. After their technician arrive, the first thing out of his mouth was "I've never seen nothing like this before". That gave me a bad feeling right from the start. I googled it, and I could tell him what the problem was. Then he started quoting prices, to do guess work on my unit. He took a picture of the standing water in my salt tank, and texted it to his boss to see if he could help. The point I'm making is, Stan's knowingly sent out an under-qualified technician to do work on my water softener. They charged me $97.00 for nothing! I called the supervisor on duty and all he had to say was "we don't know how to work on everything". I would call that false advertisement, based on their website. What bothered me most, the supervisor wasn't at all concerned about customer service. I would not recommend them for nothing. Stan's is the worst plumbing service, I've ever used!

So incredibly disappointed. I paid $100 for a diagnostic to be told that I need to get my whole ac unit replaced. I was told my free-on was basically empty and that it would cost me $2,000 to refill it. They recommended that I instead replace the whole unit.... I trusted that they were truthful when mentioning my free-on was low and almost moved forward with replacing the entire unit for $10,000...
Luckily, my friend sent me the contact information for another repair man. I called them up and they came by and checked my free-on levels. They said my free-on levels were normal and laughed when I told them I was previously told my free-on was empty. He proceeded to show me the free-on meter and I could see that it was in fact not empty....
They said my motor needed to be replaced and that I could still get a few more years from my unit. It cost me $400 to change the motor....
And yes, after getting the motor replaced, my ac has been working perfectly FINE. It's going strong and clearly has no issues with the free-on.
I wouldn't trust this place. They are very salesy and will immediately tell you that you need a new ac unit when there could be another solution. Apparently they will also just blatantly lie about your free-on levels and god knows what else. I'm just annoyed I paid a $100 diagnostic fee to get lied too. Thankfully, I didn't spend thousands of dollars on a new unit and only had to spend a few hundred. It's frustrating that my ac issue could have been fixed faster if they didn't lie. This weather without ac is brutal...

Tech came out on 8/25. He said he would return on 8/30 with parts for repair. No call, no show. I called office and was told they would schedule him for 8/31 and call me to verify he had parts. No call, no show. I called on 9/1 and I was put on hold while phone desk was to check on status but they never came back. Call went to voicemail and I canceled the service call.
Quality of their service techs is not reliable. Communication is poor.
