Easy to work with, competent! Flexible in making appointments! They have been taking care of plumbing for a good number

We wanted to check our furnace in preparation for winter. It was easy to schedule the appointment. The technician (Tyree) was professional, efficient and polite. He cleaned the furnace, changed the filter and even took the old filter away. I will definitely use this company again.

I had stahl to dig ground due to smell of gas. They did good digging putting pipe in etc but did not respect my 12 plants that was very visible when they can see it. They ruin most of them. They shovel and ripped several of my plants off the ground when they could've respect and be cautious with owner's plants. Wasted 200 bucks on those plants. Also they left trash everywhere such as ice tea drink water bottle and some pipe that they cut and papers all over the ground did not clean them up as a professional should've clean them up after done working. They also did not clean mud all over my sidewalk stairs so I had to water hose it down when they could've been more professional and respect customer's property. Also forgot to mention I have ring camera I watch most of the time when I was at work they would walk on the plants like they didn't care about it. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend anyone for them to have stahl do them. If they were respectful and careful I would've gave 4 stars but unfortunately that didn't happen. They could've made customer pleased if they clean up after themself instead the owner had to clean up their messes. They also aren't reliable since Friday I had gas shut on finally then called them to come cover the ground when they said if they turn on gas and give them a call they will be there to cover it that day but the woman from office said they will be back tomorrow to do it and that is on Saturday but they never show up so they seems not on the same page when they told me they will be coming. Then finally they show up Monday and covered all dirt back in then left. Still have several trash on my yard so I had to pile and load all broken concrete for them to be able to clean up but still there..

Had a great experience with Stahl today! Woke up at 4am to a house that was under 50°. Did some troubleshooting on the furnace but to not resolution. Called a few places but Stahl was the first to respond with someone available and Mike was great! I told him what was happening, we looked over the furnace together and he cleaned and corrected a few things and we've got heat again!

I called Stahl Plumbing in December for small problems in my bathroom drain and kitchen faucet. They came as promised, and fixed things as I asked, but the next day the kitchen faucet broke again, and the the next week the bathtub drain began having problems. I called them to ask them to return and fix these again and was told too bad, things were working when we left, you lose. This was shocking to me, that they would not stand by their work--even one day. I should say I have had them in the past, and their work was very good, and lasted. This is very disa ppoining. NEedless to say, I do NOT recommend.

Wow we should have read the other bad reviews before hiring them. What a disaster! We own a row house in a 4 unit group. A sewage backup occurred in units 2, 3, & 4. They snaked the drain in unit 2 and told the owner there that the sewage exited out through our unit #4 and that there was a collapsed pipe in our unit #4. So we used them also to continue to investigate the problem & had them come as soon as we arrived at the house which was during evening hours on a Friday charging $335 per hour. They did not bring enough equipment to snake the drain even though they had just been in unit 2 earlier in the day and knew that they would need plenty of snaking equipment. They left us to go find another driver to get the equipment from him while charging us the $335 hourly rate to do it. They finally snaked the whole drain (for $674) and found all four units were on the same line. They said they would be back first thing in the morning to use a camera on the line. When they weren't there in the morning we called and asked when they were coming. They said the guy who told us that doesn't make up the schedule and shouldn't have said that. They said they would be there when they finished the job they were out on but couldn't guarantee when that would be. They finally came about 11:30 a.m. and ran the camera (charged us $254) and said we needed to have our basement floor dug up because that was where the problem was. When asked if they could come back Monday morning they said we would have to call in on Monday & find out what the schedule looked like. Meanwhile 3 units had been flooded with sewage and we were supposed to wait until Monday to see if they could even schedule us. So we called another company (which had very good reviews - this time we checked the reviews) and were able to have them commit to come out first thing Monday morning to dig up the floor if needed. The 2nd company ran a camera through the line and felt that the line did not exit out through our unit. But because the owner of unit #2 was threatening to sue us because she had sewage in her basement we had the floor dug up ($995). Guess what? The drain went into an elbow and went up to unit #3 and did not exit to the main from our unit. A major misdiagnosis by Stahl and very expensive to boot! This is still unresolved but it looks like the line that runs from all 4 units to the main has collapsed and needs replaced. When I called the office and spoke with the owner he was rude. Avoid this company like the plague. Check online reviews and beware of this company. If I could give them less than a star for the rating I certainly would.

I've used this company regularly for routine maintenance every 6 months. For several years it was more than changing filters as the system was fairly new. Then we had an issue of uneven heating/cooling. They sent somebody over. Long story short, he gave a quote nearly double of the next person. He also misdiagnosed the issue. And when we decided to go with the less expensive quote, they still charged us for coming out to give the quote. Repeated requests failed to elicit anything but a curt, negative response.
Needless to say we've terminated our annual contract with them.

On the phone they said 1 hour to install water heater. This was confirmed by all companies I got quotes from. It took stahl 8.5 hours. I lost a day of work, my laundry room flooded, the warranty papers got ruined, and they upped the price by taking the old water heater without asking ( I would have disposed of it in my company dumpster for free ). The installer left no receipt or invoice and changed the price three times. I called for a replacement of the warranty, registration and manual but was told by the curt secretary that she's have to check with the owner to see if they could ""do that sort of thing."" Finally, the workmanship is jury rigged quality at best. Completely amateur. See frightening photographs attached. AND one of copper solder joints he installed is leaking. As if that weren't enough, the main water line coming into the house is suddenly leaking though we've never had a problem before. My mother had two terrible experiences with them in the past and I didn't know this until after I hired them. Third strike. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Thank you Stahl for replacing the expansion tank on my hot water heater and charging $$235. Your plumber left and the water heater was still leaking. He told me it would it would leak for 2 to 3 days but would adjust and the leak would stop. How stupid was I ???? Still leaked five days later. I called another company and they came in one hour. Turns out it was a leaking valve.
Your plumber lied to me. Left without further investigation and was happy to take my check.
Don't use this company. Rip off!
