I had Nicholas and his assistant work on my master shower today and am very pleased. The hot water valve in my 1960s home was original and had deteriorated to where it was no longer shutting completely, causing a constant drip. I had previously talked to a plumber who had told me they'd have to tear into my wall and redo piping to fix the leak. Nick with Staggs quickly disassembled the valve, identified the problem (a worn rubber piece), called the plumbing supply store and had it replaced and back to new within a few hours. I'm very pleased with the minimally invasive approach, the professionalism, and the prompt response to a non-emergency call (next day). From scheduling to paying, everything went really well and I never once felt like I was being up-sold or misled (which is so rare these days). I'd very much recommend Staggs Plumbing to friends and family.

This is a family owned and operated company that provides quality work and exceptional customer service. They were polite, professional, and efficient. I called because I needed a new dishwasher installed and it required new pipes and hoses. April (office manager/dispatch?) was very kind and helpful and scheduled an appointment for me. Matt and Juan came out first thing the next morning and took care of everything I needed and were even kind enough to look at some other work that I wanted done. They are very knowledgeable and affordable. They clean up after themselves and wear booties over their shoes to keep your floors clean. Will definitely use them for future projects! Be sure to ask for Matt!

I reached out to a number of plumbers through Yelp on a Saturday night to get work completed the week of Thanksgiving. Before that Saturday night was over, Staggs had scheduled the work for first thing on Monday morning. They were very prompt and professional with their communication throughout the entire experience.

I was out of town while the work was done, and the plumber called to talk me through everything while he was completing the projects. I was pleased with the pricing, and when I got back to town to look at the work, he did an excellent job. I believe he went above and beyond in some areas, such as removing and replacing brick at no additional charge, and getting the water heater connections up to code, even when that wasn't in the original scope of work.

I manage multiple rental houses and have worked with many plumbers. Assuming Staggs continues to provide the excellent service that they did, I'll continue using them for any plumbing work in the future.

Had some trouble with my hot water heater and called knowing nothing. I spoke to April, who was very courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. She was able to get me scheduled for the time I needed, no problem.

The tech (I wish I had his name but I wasn't on site for the appointment) was very professional and was even early. He was ready to go before I could get someone out to meet him and when I let him know, he told me he would wait, no problem.

He was able to diagnose the issue and get me my hot water back, and even though I had expressed interest in possibly replacing the heater, he was honest about the prognosis and what I was looking at in the short and long term. I cannot stress how much I appreciate that. Not every service provider would pass on an opportunity to make a sale with a customer who has no idea what is going on.

I could not ask for a better experience. This is a business that gets service right.

Best thing about them: their honesty!

I called them (Randy) and they arrived the same day to take a look at a potential slab leak in my master bathroom (under sink cabinet). I had previously been seen by a plumbing company through my home warranty however their price was very high ($2500), home warranty wouldn't cover much of it (surprise surprise) and I wanted a second opinion.

They gave me several options including concrete drilling and going through the exterior wall.

There was also a $500 location fee to start with that would help them assess where the leak was coming from and then we could determine best course of action; this would be rolled into the total cost at the end.

I agreed to the location fee and they actually found the leak to be on the back wall behind the cabinet and not under. This meant it was an easy ($500) fix and no damage or ripping out the sink cabinet! I really appreciated their honesty. If i have used the other company they could have easily just ripped out the cabinet drilled a big hole, replaced the pipe with a new pipe and then charged $2500.

A late review but one I need to give due to the great service provided by Staggs Plumbing.

Last year after purchasing my house I had them come to look into issues with the shower controls not turning well. In the process of this, they found that my hot water heater had sprung a leak. They gave me a quote for the replacement as well as the work to replace the shower controls which were 30+ years old.

After researching a bit further I went with Stagg's and I am grateful I did so. The replacement for the hot water heater was pretty standard, but the shower controls turned into another ordeal. The hot and cold lines were plumbed opposite of what they should have been. In the end, it took multiple hours of work to get the shower controls installed with the correct plumbing, and they didn't charge me a penny more despite quoting me based on a much simpler job. I can't imagine many other companies would have stuck to their original quote even though they had to spend significantly more labor for the task than anticipated.

The hot water heater replacement was also handled excellently including additional safety installations and getting the permit handled. Over 6 months later and all of it has been working perfectly.

Very satisfied with the work, and even more satisfied with their fair business practices to not upcharge when faced with a more daunting task. Highly recommend, and I certainly plan to use them again.

I had a toilet bowl that wouldn't fill and some loose hardware in my shower. They came out within an hour after I called. They send you texts to let you know that the tech is on his way with his name. They also do a very comprehensive follow up to make sure you are satisfied. The tech fully explained the problem, the cost, and the repair needed. The cost was fair. The lady who does the scheduling is very pleasant and helpful. Everything is automated so you know the company keeps up with technology.

I have used this company multiple times in the past but the customer service has went downhill so much to the point that I have to take to yelp.

After the work was finished and paid for (I paid quickly due to our great experiences in the past) I couldn't get anyone to phone me back or provide all the receipts that my insurance company was asking me for. Namely the cost of the inspection to which the receptionist told me "we don't provide a receipt for that". After trying for over a month I've given up.

Anything other then a simple cash job I wouldn't use them.
