Our Takagi tankless water heater stopped working on a fine morning 1 week back. I spoke with Vanessa at SPS the same day and she managed to get someone to look at the issue within 2 days. The technician John quickly root-caused the issue, spoke with AO Smith (service provider), and got us a full unit replacement for free. Before the week ended Vanessa ensured to place an order for our heater and got us an appointment today (1 week since the problem happened). Today Bob and Ruben were here as scheduled and took care of the replacement in under 2 hours. Hot water is back!
What we found great about all the professionals we spoke with at SPS was that they were all very patient to explain the issue and super professional. I wish SPS the best.

Our water heater stopped working, A O Smith was amazing and provided us with a FREE replacement even when we were at the edge of our warranty. SPS Plumbing was assigned to the task. Their entire team was professional, communicative, and prompt. Vanessa was excellent at coordinating the project. The team that came in worked very efficiently and cleaned up. My AO Smith water heater had a scary fire hazard issue which was luckily covered under a recall. SPS Plumbing was one of the two authorized plumbers for repairs, I contacted them last week. Throughout the process I was happy with the responsiveness from this professional company. They have an organized process with intake questionnaire, from which they schedule appointments. They send texts and emails to for scheduled appointments, as well as reminders one day before. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a text on the day of appointment indicating Reuben was on his way - again, great process and communication.

Reuben showed up on time within the two hour window provided. He was very knowledgeable about the recall problem and went to work right away. After he finished the repair - which was a faulty parts replacement - he showed me the failed part and explained why the issue was happening. I appreciated that he took the time to educate me. On top of his professional knowledge, Reuben has a calm and friendly personality. I also asked Reuben a question on something unrelated to the repair, to which he answered with great detail.

I highly recommend SPS Plumbing as a company and Reuben as an amazing professional! Thank you!!!

They charge an extra $185 to climb up a ladder to look at a water heater. If it was an install I would understand. It takes less than 30 secs to climb ladder, 30 secs work $185, this is a complete rip off. When I stated with them that this does not make any sense to charge $185 dollars to climb a ladder that I provided, they said fine, we will send to collection agency. Consumer beware!
