KW L.We had Ruben came to our house 3 times for 3 separate jobs. Each job was done in a very efficient and professional manner. The jobs involve doing a burner replacement on AO Smith water heater recall, installing new kitchen faucet, replacing water regulator valve outside the house, replace old inlet valve on water heater, and installing water sediment filter. Ruben was very meticulous in checking his work to make sure there are no leaks. Also told us all work is warrantied against leaks and call him anytime if there is a leak. So if you are looking for a good and efficient plumber ask for Ruben at SPS
Our uncommon, AO Smith Power Direct Vent gas water heater was generating a blower prover fault. I called SPS, and left a message. I got a friendly and polite call back in 10 minutes. Chris came out the same day. We ordered new parts from AO Smith, and when they arrived, Steve came out. He found the problem, that AO Smith customer support was unable to solve, (a ball of fiberglass insulation in the air intake pipe). I also had them change the anodes and flush the tank. They were very consciousness of not getting water on the floor and wearing booties to protect our wood floors. Really respectful of our home.

We have a 5 year old tankless water heater. Recently it started having wild fluctuations in water temperature. I did some maintenance stuff myself that did not seem to fix the problem. After talking to customer support, it was recommended that I clean the combustion box. I looked at the instructions and determined it was a little beyond my comfort level. Customer support gave me SPS Plumbers name as an approved service partner. I emailed them and after a little email tag we got them scheduled the next day. Rubin came out and let me tell you, I could not have been more impressed with his competence and professionalism. I asked if could I watch him do the job I thought was too hard for me. It was a good call to not do it myself. Rubin had the job done and buttoned up within an hour while at the same time explaining what he was doing and issues he was dealing with.

Great guys. My water heater is also used to heat the house, and it's complicated. I have dealt with previous water heater problems at my place years ago so I was expecting another winter without heat. When the installer hit a snag and needed help Steve, the owner, came out and would not quit until the job was done. Fantastic service and workmanship.
Dick K.Steve was at my house yesterday to troubleshoot a hot water problem for us. He arrived on time and got to work on our Navien tankless water heater
It was taking over 20 minutes to get hot water to our shower. He went through the diagnostics with Navien, checked all the faucets, tub and shower and increased the flow to the shower. He serviced the system, and when I took a shower this morning it took only a few minutes to get hot water to the shower. I was amazed, and had a great hot shower! Steve is polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. I will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great HONEST and REPUTABLE plumber

My Navien NPE 240A water heater doesn't have hot water coming out since last Friday (tried restart, cleaned air intake filter, etc.). SPS Plumbers is the 3rd business I contacted.
The 1st technician showed up on Saturday, tried to trouble shot for 40mins and could NOT identify the problem. He told me he has another appointment waiting so he has to leave. He refuses to call Navien tech support because it takes time.
The 2nd technician showed up on Sunday. When I made the reservation, the lady over the phone told me it doesn't matter with water heater brand. But when the technician came onsite, he refused to provide service because they don't work with Navien. But they still try to change to for $85 for ""inspection"" (excuse me?) We agree on $40 after reviewing the phone call record.
I contacted several other services who are on Navien list near my location but they either told me to replace the whole unit for $2500 or refused to provide service because the water heater was not installed by them.
I finally made a reservation with SPS Plumbers for Tuesday, the price is not the least expensive but it totally worth it. Very professional and reliable. Steven showed up on time, did a quick test, called Navien tech center to help to troubleshoot. He helped identify the problem within one hr and gets me hot water back. I strongly recommend SPS if you also have a Navien tankless water heater.
When other companies did not return my call, SPS plumbers did not ignore my call. Shawna quickly put me on their schedule, and the owner, Steven Sosa, came to rescue my brand new AO Smith water heater. He was very thorough and quickly fixed the problem. Great service and prompt response! Will definitely use this company again.
Got SPS plumbing contact info from manufacturer (AO Smith) when water heater failed to ignite after only 17 months in service. Out of the list of AO Smith certified technicians these are the only ones I could reach, so far so good
Here is the timeline:
1. Monday - Diagnostic charge was $170/hour, and the technician spent half of that time calling manufacturer and playing on their cellphone. Per diagnosis gas control valve needed replacement and shipped from manufacturer (free shipping option is ground only, so I paid extra $53 for UPS next day air)
2. Tuesday - no calls from them and all my calls/messages went nowhere.
3. Wednesday - got a call saying that 1 part has been received today (that's Wed. not Tue. !), but 2 parts needed replacement (which was not on the original invoice and never been discussed with me) my suggestion that they made a mistake was rejected.
4. Thursday - called AO Smith in the morning and asked them to clarify how many parts needed replacement and when they were shipped / received. AO Smith stated that only gas control valve needed replacement and it has been shipped on Mon. and received by SPS plumbing on Tue. (UPS tracking confirms that) Called SPS plumbing again and reported my findings, after some deliberation they called back and said that I was right and they can send a technician today to replace just the gas valve. The technician arrived pretty quickly with a box matching AO Smith shipping label, which confirms they have had this part since 9:57AM on Tuesday. The part has been replaced (that's another 1/2 hour charge) and thankfully water heater is ok now.
Summary - Overall customer experience was not good, resulted in many unnecessary calls back and forth which could have been easily avoided. I will not be considering this company in the future.
