My water heater required a fix due to a recall issue. The first authorized dealer they pointed me too never called me back after 4 calls... I asked for another and they gave me SPS Plumbers' number.
Called them and I got a timely return call. They gave me an appointment and we were set. The day of, Steven gives me a call a few hours early giving me a heads up that he's running fast, would I be there earlier than expected? Sure!
He comes and fixes the problem effortless. I had to joke with him that there was no hesitation on his part in jumping in and fixing the issue. He was nice to chat with. He gave me the low-down on the recall, he answered some questions that I had on the water heater, etc...
I was impressed enough that when it comes time for a replacement heater I will call them to do the work. Fast, courteous, and pleasant.

After receiving notice about the recall of A.O. Smith hot water heater parts, I contacted 3 different plumbers. The first two plumbers didn't respond at all. I called both more than one time and left messages. One of them even has a receptionist taking down my information. Yet, no one has called me back to schedule an appointment. Then, I was given the phone number of SPS plumbers. Not only did I talk to a very friendly lady, but my appointment was scheduled right away. On the day of the appointment, I thought about calling to remind them (the experiences with the previous two plumbers make me worry that it's too good to be true to have a plumber coming for the recall). No need! He called me to come earlier and showed up right on time. He made the repair and explained the billing procedure in details. He is very professional and did an excellent job!

SPS and Rueben totally saved the day. A copper pipe leading to my water heater sprung a leak and left me without hot water. SPS responded with a technician within 2 hours of my call. Rueben was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional and fixed the pipe in an hour. I would highly recommend SPS and would use them again.

We purchased a AO Smith water heater from Lowe's. After installation, it made a humming sound. We couldn't return it to Lowe's and were told to have a plumber of their recommendation come out to fix it. They gave three names. After calling the other two names listed and receiving no response, I called SPS. The company exceeded our expectations in sending someone out to repair our faulty water heater. I would highly recommend SPS Plumbing!

I have used SPS twice in the last few years. They helped me get a tankless water heater replaced that went bad after 2 years. I ended up getting a cool discount from A/O smith with their help. They just installed a water filtration unit for me. This is a small shop that takes care of business. I went through a few of their Yelp reviews. Some people like to use Yelp to get even or to be a pain in the ass. When I read a Yelp review its to determine if the company is good at what they do. Its to find out what kind of service they provide. I could care less if SPS has a sucky answering service!!! SPS took care of us on two separate occasions and their work was spot on....Thanks guys.

When the burner for my AO Smith water heater broke, I called a few plumbers who cover that brand. Other companies told me that my four-year-old model was discontinued and I would need a new model at a cost of $1400 for labor/installation (no parts included in that because it was still under warranty). Steven, owner of SPS Plumbing, helped me see that the other guys were ""upselling"" me, then he ordered the part I needed and installed it for less than $300. Thank you! Great service.

We had been without hot water for a week! Plumbers tried to fix the hot water heater, and then SPS came and they lit the pilot light. AND the we had hot water.

Referred to SPS by the distributor who sold the water heater to our installing plumber to advise on an error code on an AO Smith Water Heater. The code remedied itself and SPS insisted on coming out to check it for ""safety reasons."" I insisted that if their team was going to do nothing then there was no need to come out and I'd let them know if the issue resurfaced. There was no discussion of cost or rates. Sure enough, a 2-man team (for some reason) came out, picked a couple of pieces apart from the water heater, put them back on, and wrapped up in 20-30 minutes and handed me a bill for over $150. As no discussion of rates occurred and nothing was done I was not pleased with the charge, a week later the company offered to remove the charge in an effort to keep me as a ""customer."" Fast forward 2-3 months later, I called SPS this time with an actual problem, no return call after 5+ calls. Mind you we have no hot water. I placed a call to the distributor who then called SPS who informed me that my number had been blocked and they'd rather not do business. I will certainly go elsewhere from here forward for my plumbing needs, at least have the decency to call someone back when you're the primary technicians for AO Smith in the area. Call it karma if you want to, but when your team insists to come out even when a customer doesn't need service and then hand over a hefty bill, I don't see that as good business practice.

When our tankless went out after just 6 months, it was a challenge to find anyone who assisted with our home remodel to come and take a look at it. So we went to Yelp and requested assistance from multiple sources. SPS came through for us both in speed of communication and honesty in their work. In the end, they were able to identify and resolve the issue as well as worked with us to have our unit correctly updated in the manufacturer's database so that the work was covered by their warranty! They went way beyond what we were hoping for, and are now listed as our primary contact for any of our plumbing needs.
Thank you SPS!!!

We couldn't be happier with the services we received when the burner on our hot water heater needed to be replaced. They were able to quickly get us scheduled, and Rubin was so knowledgeable and thoroughly professional.
