Very friendly and prompt plumbing service. Used to repair our hot water heater twice and they had a plumber at our house within a couple hours of our phone call both times. Rates are reasonable. Plumber polite, knowledgeable and thorough.

In a fit of do-it-yourself-ness I decided to attempt to see if I could at least determine what parts would be required to fix a leaky bathroom faucet. I used to fix the old fashioned kind all the time. I was proud of myself for remembering to shut off the valve under the sink before removing the handle and examining the innards of the faucet. But then I heard water running under the sink and found the shut off valve was broken and was making a big mess in a big hurry. My neighbor helped me shut off the water to the house and then it was time to find a plumber to fix it. Speake's Plumbing came up first and their ratings were good so I called. The man who answered the phone was compassionate and patient as I explained the issue. Within less than an hour the man was in my bathroom and in a short time the problem was fixed, in addition to the leaky valve that started the whole adventure. I feel their rates are fair and the technician was totally professional. I would definitely call them again.

All these 5 star reviews look pretty fake. I called them to look for a slab leak at my house and they were not only rude and arrogant, they were the highest price I found. I don't think so!!!

I was delighted this morning to hear a strong rainstorm with water pouring on my kitchen window. BUT it was not rain. It was a busted water spigot.

Yelp is not just for food reviews. I immediately found Speake's Plumbing and read the outstanding reviews, so I called Speake's.

This could have been a very complex and expensive repair that would have involved immense damage to my siding. But plumbing genius Garlan made a replacement with a special kit he had in his truck.

The whole issue was resolved in less than 20 minutes after his arrival and it only cost $189. God answered my prayers with Speake's plumbing.

In addition to the comfort and trust Speake's provided, Garlan was personable, professional and knew his trade. $189 is a bargain what could have been catastrophic flooding and damage.

I would recommend Speake's over any plumbing company in the Metroplex.

Long story short, my AC went out, guys were replacing it and the pipes needed to be blown out in the tub their machine didn't have enough pressure so I had to call a plumber they came in short notice which is awesome, they charged a LOT less for the first hour than any plumbers I called and they worked well with me and the AC crew open communication answered questions about future reno's I might want. In total Awesome couldn't have asked for more.

Called Speake's after toilet overflow off the kitchen. At first the service went well and they discovered that a line needed to be replaced and recommended DeLong Services to find the rotted line and remove. DeLong did a great job although the cost was well over 2k. However after that was completed, Speakes took 4 days to come back out and replace the pipe and snake the drain to ensure all problems were solved. One week later... overflowing toilet yet again. Called Speake's but was told they did everything correctly and that we must have clogged the drain again. They offered to return and provide an estimate for additional repairs even though I had already paid $850 for the previous repair services. Also, please understand that my family of 7 had not used the washer or the toilet in over two months and only used the sink by manually emptying the water. Nothing had been in the drain!!! Called Winter's Plumbing we came and cleared the drain within 2 hours and two months later, thankfully no more issues. I don't know if Speake's is using different employees but my service left alot to be desired.

I had a problem with the main line from the backside of the house. Several plumbers had come over the years and had done a temporary fix. I called Speake's because of their 5 star rating. Two very nice young men came out and went under the house. They snaked three places from the roof and two clean out valves in the front. All clear and all cheaper than the price quoted by the last plumber for just ONE pipe on the roof.
These guys rock! They knew their stuff. Only problem is that I can't adopt them. But, I now have my "forever plumbers."
