These guys are the best!!!They came over immediately on a Sunday when no one else would; analyzed the situation and did great work unclogging a sewer line with good equipment and lots of hard physical labor. Both Larry and Anthony were very professional and communicative and the price was quite reasonable for all the effort. They clearly knew what they were doing and I can't imagine using anyone else.

I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero. These guys are rude and completely offensive to potential customers. I would never let them into my home after an initial phone call with them, and I suggest others don't either.

I called three other companies and had them come out to assess my problem. Two of them gave outrageous quotes and one of them referred me to Sparkle Drain in Falls Church. Boy am I glad i took that advice. The guys came out on short notice the same day, fixed my problem in less than one hour and gave lots of advice on preventing any further problems. The bill was completely reasonable, not like the absurd amounts I was quoted from the other companies. Thanks Sparkle!!

I wrote a review on 11/26/2014 and it seems as though Larry has had it deleted. Probably because I called him out on his rude, aggressive character. From the very first conversation, Larry was demeaning. He was yelling at me over the phone and told me that he could ""care less if my problem got fixed"". My realtor was in the car with me at the time and heard how he spoke to me. She made it a point to jot down his name and company and passed along his info to other realtors as someone to red flag for their clients. Honestly, I'm shocked that this man is still in business. When he finally came to the home to do the repairs, I made it a point to have my in-laws as well as my landlord in my home with me. I definitely didn't feel safe nor comfortable having Larry in my home while I was alone. Ultimately, he didn't fix the problem. He was confused about where the problem was even coming from, he talked down about the previous plumber that I had called out to the home and recommended another plumber to my landlord. Seems to be his trend; he'll come to your home, not fix the problem, recommend someone else but still charge you money. And be a complete jerk in the process. Don't hire this man. Plumbers are a dime a dozen, and he's definitely not worth it.

Charged nearly 600 dollars for a simple one-hour snake job. This was for a regular business hours appointment that was scheduled the day before.

I asked the plumber what the price was before he started. When I replied that his price more than double what others had told me to expect, he said something along the lines of ""Fine, just give me $65 for the estimate and I'll be happy to get out of here."" I had never agreed to, nor did he mention any charges for an estimate, and at that point he had done little more than walk into my basement. Happily give up $600 for an hour of unskilled labor? I'll bet.

I'm giving two stars because other than the price negotiation, they were fairly professional and polite (cleaned up afterwards, etc). I'm not certain whether they tried to jack up the price for me specifically or if they always run very high, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. It's too soon to judge the quality of the drain cleaning work, but so far everything seems good.

These guys gave me a ton of free advice over the phone AND referred me to another plumber that I was extremely pleased with--when it turned out they didn't have the equipment needed for my job. They also came out and assessed my problem for a very reasonable price and were prompt and dependable on the job. I plan to use them for here on out, so happy to find an honest, reliable plumber at great price.

Sparkle has cleared drains for me 6-8 times at three properties I have. They have always been prompt and totally effective. They can tell distance and basic type of clog just by feel. They are the only people I use. They cleared the main drain to the sewer in the house I live in, a clogged kitchen sink drain in a condominium, and just cleared an outside bottom of the stairs drain. Five stars all the way, and I am in no way related or anything to them.
