Honestly the best plumbing company in the Coachella Valley. We just had our Wampum Water system installed Friday, they were on time, quick , efficient and most of all friendly. Thanks to Southwest Plumbing I can look forward to NO MORE hard water.

We've used SWP in the past and they have always been very helpful and quick, especially in emergency situations. We were happy to finally find a reliable plumber. Which is why they are getting 3 stars otherwise it would have been 1.
Sadly, after yesterday we will no longer be using them.
- Did not contact our renter in the am to arrange appt as promised
- Did not follow-up with me after realized he may have noted tenant # wrong to get
correct info, I had to call after tenant complained no plumber contact
- Did not contact me to tell me that they could no longer provide service that day so I
could arrange another company to help our tenant
- When I called today to discuss no apology and trying to say they didn't want to do it
because it would have been overtime (never told me that or offered me the
opportunity to approve added cost, which I would have)
- Overall did not get the impression that they really cared that they provided poor
customer service
Lost a customer by not making one 2 minute phone call.

Southwest Plumbing installed my new Bradford-White water heater. At 1 year and 1 month, the pilot light went out. I attempted to light it and was unsuccessful, so I called Southwest Plumbing. The plumber was also unable to light the pilot light. He then removed the cover where the pilot assembly was, moved a few wires and was able to light the pilot light. That was $95 to light the pilot light. The plumber said he didn't know what was wrong, but it works now. Two weeks later, the pilot light went out again, I removed the cover, jiggled the wires and I lit the pilot light. Since the Southwest plumber didn't know what the problem was, I called the Bradford-White Company. I was directed immediately to the President of the company with my complaint. He told me that any plumber should know how to repair the problem I was having and he immediately had a work order sent to Preferred Plumbing. Preferred Plumbing immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem at no cost to me. I called Southwest and left a message with the ""customer service manager"" to ask for my $95 to be refunded. A week went by without a call back. I called again and he told me that I should have called back about the pilot going out again. I told him, the plumber should have called him the first time if he didn't know what the problem was. He said he would have to talk to the owners of Southwest Plumbing about refunding my $95 and that he would call me back. Another week has gone by without a call back or a refund.

Great service & quality work. Matt went the extra mile to work on a situation they normally don't work on. Highly recommend Southwest Plumbing.

Our Snowbirds staying at our desert condo called at 8:30 PM on Saturday Night (//31/15) that all three toilets had backed up, and the dishwasher discharge was going into the sink, so we had a plug somewhere in the main line. I called my home warranty company and they said they would have somebody call me on Monday, not acceptable or very good when there are no working toilets in the home.
From Yelp, I called one of the Yelp adds for 24 hour pluming service, and the company I called was very polite but said they were out of town and told me to call Southwest Plumbing. So I did. The answering service lady said she would have somebody call me back in less than an hour.
About 45 minutes after the first call from my Snowbirds called, Zeke from Southwest Plumbing called me back. I told him the problem and he told me he could be at our desert condo by 10 PM that night.
He got to the condo fixed the issue with the drain line and completed the job by 11:00 PM. My Snowbirds were very happy and I was relieved that I would not have to pay for a Hotel room for the night
All I can say is ""great job"" for an emergency service call on a Saturday Night. I will definitely call Southwest Plumbing again

SOUTHWEST exhibited exceptional integrity in response to challenges with which I was presented on the condominium property where I had just bought a new home.
Project planning by the Association's property ""management"" co was abysmal, and caused many difficulties to residents. Calls to the management company were met with sincere sounding talk, and that is were it ended.
However, calls to SOUTHWEST about problems in my new place re zero notification and move in, and about follow up for glitches, were met with active response geared towards resolving matters that, frankly, were a consequence of property management's poor planning. SOUTHWEST took the time and made things right. Further, every person who took my calls at SOUTHWEST and the on site crew members to whom I'd spoken, have all been equally patient and receptive. For that, and for the positive results, I am grateful and I highly recommend SOUTHWEST PLUMBING

I've used Southwest Plumbing several times over the past 10 years... They always do a good job...
The last 3 times I've used them this year, Brian has been the service tech...
The job a few months ago, he arrived about 10 min past the hour but still charged for the full hour... He called me at 10:59am & said he was 10 minutes away... Still charged from 11am...hmmm
This job recently, he worked on the pipe & then left & came back after letting the glue dry for an additional half hour...I don't really know how I feel about that...it kind of feels like I'm paying for his break during the time it takes glue to dry because it's company policy to check it after an hour... I like the idea of checking it to make sure it's ok...it's better to be safe than sorry... But on the other hand, I'm not really happy that I'm paying an OT rate while work isn't actively been done... Kind of a catch 22...
That's my only negative feeling about both services... But who really wants to pay more?

Ginger, the gal who took the call & scheduled the service was professional & explained the costs & when OT starts & set the window of service.
Brian arrived within the 2 hour service window...

**Overtime Rate on a call made to the office during business hours & work carrying over after 4pm: $ 157.50 per hour
**If you call after hours for Emergency Service, Overtime Rate: $225 per hour
Plumbers aren't cheap...but Southwest has always done a good job for me over the years...that's why I still use them...

Ginger is the best!! Matthew looks just like Rex Ryan from the New York Jets!! Lol. They respond lightning fast. Acme House Co. loves you guys keep it up!

Totally left me hanging! Called last Tuesday, sent photos of the problem, they promised to get right back to me an never called me back. I called again, they said they were working on it and never called me again. If I treated my customers like that, I wouldn't have any.

Southwest plumbing came to the rescue and re-plumbed our entire house!!! I have to say Art and Ian are two of the most considerate people I have ever had working at my home!! This was a very involved job as most plumbing typically is but my walls and bathrooms were pretty torn up. These guys made sure everyday when they were done all was clean enough for us to live in this house with very limited water for about a week or more!! Total kudos to Southwest Plumbing and Art and Ian for doing such a great job!!! Consideration goes along way. Thanks so much you guys.
