Recently moved to Grapevine and needed service on HVAC unit. Found these guys in Yelp. I will use them going forward and share my experience with all my neighbors.

I just want to say if anyone need AC work, these are the people. I have had nothing but great experience with everyone that works with Southern Comfort. Jason, Laurie, Carrie, Shane, Mitchell, and Chris. I'm sure I have missed someone but I have worked with all these people and everyone is great to work with. So if your in search give them a call and you will not regret it.

I've had interactions with several hvac companies the past few years, but can honestly say I received the best service from Southern Comfort. My tech Tim took the time to explain to me all the issues with my equipment (my furnace was 27 years old). Ultimately, I decided to just go with new equipment and felt like I got a great deal on the system. They were able to install my new system the next day - Thanks guys!

From start to finish, Southern Comfort Mechanical has been a pleasure to work with. We moved into an older home in Flower Mound and knew that the 15 year old HVAC systems was starting to show its age. I read a bunch a great reviews about Southern Comfort and decided to give them a call to quote us on a new system. Jason came out to give us the quote and shortly after, we bit the bullet to have him and his team replace it all. Jason was there in the thick of it from 8 AM until 6:30 PM working with his team on replacing 2 systems. This shows the passion, quality and care that he provides for the customer. And to top it off, when he came back out to fine tune the system and go over the paperwork, he even vacuumed the carpet below the attic ladder. It's these little touches that I notice and appreciate. We couldn't be any happier with choosing Southern Comfort Mechanical and highly recommend them.

There are some times on Yelp that you wish you could give 6 or 7 stars.

Customer service via phone was great, they gave me an exact time that would work a couple days after my call (it was not an emergency), the technician (Jason) showed up on time, as expected, was probably the most polite person I have ever had in my house, and checked everything for me.

Problem turned out to be cottonwood in my external unit, and he took the time to clean out every speck of it. Excellent A-1 Service.

Compared to previous experiences with companies that do a lot of advertising and have to charge you for their air time, Southern Comfort was definitely the one to call.

Making the call to these guys saved me a LOT of money. I had my home warranty company come out for a tune up and was told the evaporator coil for my A/C needed to be replaced. Shane came out and concluded nothing was wrong with the coil. There was just too much freon in the unit. He took out the excess freon and voila, problem fixed.
Use these guys! They are honest, knowledgable, and on time which is hard to come by. I will definitely use them again.

I called Southern Comfort Mechanical after getting a quote for a repair from one of the larger AC/Heat companies in the area. Southern Comfort showed up on time and was able to perform the exact same work, including the same parts, for a way better price that the larger company wanted. Shane was very professional from start to finish. On top of fixing my problem, he took the time to help educate me on many things I could do on my own to help keep my energy costs down. I would definitely use them again.

Jason (the owner) showed up at my home only one hour after I called. Inside, it was a very toasty 86 degrees and climbing. After checking everything, Jason concluded that my unit stopped working because it couldn't get any air to the motor and overheated. He cleaned the unit out, but wasn't satisfied. I'm so glad he wan't satisfied with mediocrity. He decided to go into the attic to make sure everything was ok. Come to find out, the condensation had been leaking into the emergency pan for years. (Keep in mind I've had 2 other AC guys out here in the last 3 years.) Jason cleaned the line (and got covered with years and years of goop in the process) and ordered a new pan to replace the rusted one. The entire time, Jason explained every step of his process and he did it with a smile. He talked to me about preventative maintenance and options for a new unit in the future. His prices were very fair and I'm so glad I found an honest, hardworking company to give my honest, hardworking dollars to.
ROUND 2:
Today, Technician Jason Mitchell came out to my home to do routine maintenance after my unit wasn't cooling the way I wanted. He was helpful, personable, and did a great job. He cleaned the coils, showed me where the wires had started to overheat and let me know I got him out here just in time. He climbed in the attic to check the unit for a leak and added coolant (he even helped me change the light bulbs that were out and checked my duct work for me while he was up there). Every time I deal with these guys, I have a great experience. I know that I will have to change my 20 year old AC very soon, and when I do, I'll call Southern Comfort to take care of it for me. Also, you can get a discount if you go online and check their specials. I have found my AC guys for life.

Wonderful Service! Quoted us on a new AC & furnace Wednesday, and it was installed Thursday! Jason, the owner, was awesome in working with us on price to fit our budget better.
We had quotes from several other companies, but Southern Comfort was the one who went the extra mile for us in making suggestions we hadn't even considered, to make the flow and function much better. Jason made great suggestions on updating a few things, and we decided to go with his choices. He was by no means pushy like some companies can be, but respected whatever decision we made.
Our house is now running at such a nice cool temp for these hot summer days, so much so that we had to raise the temp since it was almost too cold! These guys are great and so is their service!
