Matthew came out to repair our air conditioning unit. He was polite and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and worked diligently in 100+ heat to make sure the problem was fixed, when he realized that it was a bigger problem than he initially expected, he ordered the parts and personally saw that the repairs were completed. Matt came out, diagnosed the problem, walked me through it, showing me everything he needed to do to repair my A/C unit, and I was up and running in a few hours. When its 110 degrees outside you will pay anything to get your A/C back, but it was a relatively small problem that wasn't as expensive as it could have been. I would call this team back in a heartbeat, and would ask for Matt again. He was amazing!

I needed to have the upstairs air conditioner unit checked because it wasn't cooling. After having an experience with a questionable HVAC company, I was nervous about finding someone who would do a good job and not overcharge me. I got on yelp and found that Southern Comfort had really good reviews so I decided to give them a call. After calling to let me know he was on his way, Robert arrived right on time. He was very courteous and friendly and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the unit. After he fixed the problem, he very kindly offered to help me replace the filters and even took the time to show me how to replace them myself in the future. Overall, my experience with Southern Comfort and with Robert was very positive. I will definitely call them in the future if I have HVAC issues.

Having to do a complete installation in my house, I was nervous about time, price, quality....everything. Shane came to my house within two days of calling to set up an appointment. He was beyond thorough and patient with me and answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. Within a week the installers were at my house and everything was done beautifully and without a hitch within a day. I am amazed at how well and fast they cleaned up everything. It's as if they were never here! I can't say enough how happy I am with my new system and how glad I am that I chose Southern Comfort for such a big home improvement decision. Thank you guys!

Scheduled appointment for Monday. Received a confirmation e-mail Monday morning and never heard back. I called at 5:00 pm to double check the technician still had us on his schedule and the office was closed. Seems like this company needs to re-evaluate their schedule system.

We need more good A/C technicians and companies like Southern Comfort in Flower Mound. My technician was quick to diagnose and write up a solution to my daughter's room airflow problem.
He came out the next day at the time window they quoted and took 1
Hour to fix the problem. This did fix the problem and my daughter is very happy.
The original A/C installer did give me a quote at the same price but
His solution was to install 2 larger vents and enlarge the single duct feeding
Her 4 vents. My technician installed a second duct from the unit to provide more air flow.

Southern Comfort was a life saver. They were so professional, punctual, and polite. I know nothing about A/C units or repair and they still took the time to walk me through what they found and actually showed me what was wrong and why they had to make certain repairs. I was really impressed they took the time to explain the whole process to me so I felt completely comfortable that the repairs were necessary. Schedule appointments several times now and they either don't show up or they reschedule with no warning. Had to make myself available, took time for work and they don't show up.
When they finally come, it is pure luck the quality of technician you get. Shane is good, but the other folks miss or totally miss-diagnose the problem. The lady that schedule appointments is lacking any basic skills or compassion. Stay away, they can waste your time if you are not lucky.
