In 1999, David came to Virginia from Arkansas. He started in sales at a local supply company and was later promoted to lead a service department. In 2013, he chose to create his own company, Solutions Mechanical, Inc., largely to resolve the issues he often heard from clients. His goal was to build a plumbing and HVAC company that stood apart from the rest. Starting with an office in his home basement, he worked alone using a toolbox from his wife’s vehicle. With hard work, SMI has transformed into a successful business with several offices catering to the Valley and Northern Virginia. David lives in Waynesboro with his wife and two kids, is committed to community service, and is involved in his church and local Boy Scouts.
