We had an issue with a backed up drain for one of our bathrooms. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency because we could use our alternate bathroom. But of course it happened two days before Christmas and we were hosting! So hopefully I cooked everything so that no one got food poisoning!! Looking through Yelp, I wanted a local plumber, with recent, good reviews and we found Carlos! We reached out on Christmas Eve to schedule an appointment for Dec 26 and Carlos quickly responded.

Our house piping is pretty old even though we have had various repiping and repair over the last 16 years I owned the home. Carlos and team replaced the damaged piping, checked for any other damage, and built a clean out that was easier to access for future use (hopefully not needed... but much easier to clean the drains if necessary). Carlos and Jose started the job immediately and was complete in two days.

I appreciated the prompt response and the ability to fix our issue for our old home! I would definitely call again for any plumbing issues in the future!

Today Carlos and Jose came by to fix a clogged main line for us. They were prompt, and did great work. They also recommended to do further work after visually inspecting our pipes with a camera to prevent this horrible mishap from happening like it has so frequently in the past. The cost of the work is the most competitive I've seen and the quality of work is top notch. I will recommend Carlos and Jose to anyone and everyone. Would have given more stars if possible!

Called SoCal and spoke with Carlos, he answered on the first call and was able to give me an appointment the next day. He showed up on time, always appreciated, and he informed me that my issue was the responsibility of the local gas company. Gave me a fair and free quote for a water heater replacement and even though my current one was a little old, he could've easily gave me some doom and gloom spiel but he didn't. He was honest an upfront and told me I could still keep using the one I currently have for a while longer.

I will definitely keep SoCal in mind for any future issues I may have. Carlos came across very sincere, honest and most of all, professional.

SoCal Plumbing Service was great given the circumstances of plumbing going bad at the worst time of year. Carlos ran a camera down my clean out to show me the problem I was having with my main sewer line which made the decision to replace pretty easy. Pricing was exceptionally fair given the amount of work that needed to be done. They were very thorough and while under the house looked to make sure there were no other issues. Thank god they looked, I also had a toilet that was leaking underneath the house and a rotted out kitchen drain line. None of which i would have never seen until it was too late. It was more cost effective to have all issues fixed at the same time as Carlos worked with me the whole way. SoCal plumbing will be my plumber moving forward for any issues. They only need to work on is the 25 year warranty I was asking for. :-) Just kidding, Thanks Carlos for all the hard work!

What should you do if you have a gas or water leak? Call Carlos at SoCal Plumbing, is what you do, and you'll be glad you did. Carlos responded in my time of need, when I smelled gas in my home. I called the gas company and they promptly turned the gas off to my home and would return service only after a licensed plumber made the required repairs. Carlos arrived at my home on time, and prepared to work. He quickly started testing the gas lines, and was able to identify not 1 but 5 gas leaks throughout the house. Carlos was very patient with me by answering any and all questions I had, and even went as far as walking me through the painfully slow process of getting the gas company to return service. He is a consummate professional and highly skilled in his trade. He has earned a lifelong customer in me (one in which I hope he doesn't see often) and I shall call none other. Thank you Carlos. Thank you for keeping my family safe!

P.S. Carlos is a very inspiring and interesting gentleman. If you have the pleasure of meeting him, try to get to know him. You might learn something positive. I know I did!

Carlos was great. Early to the job, efficient and reliable. My bathtub was clogged. He cleared it for me asap. He replaced my waste and overflow for the tub and replaced old trap with new plastic trap. He did this before i had to go to work in the afternoon. The price was right. Couldnt beat it. I would definitely recommend Socal Plumbing Service to family and friends.

4.5 stars for the work done. The other half is for being a Long Beach Native. Carlos was on time and professional. Started off being a clogged pipe behind my washing machine but turned out to be a bigger issue. He was there from 9am-2pm. They did a good job, will definitely recommend to my family and friends.
