I've hired them twice and I'll hire them every single time from now on. They go seemingly out of their way to help out. The second time I hired them, I called fairly late in the evening and they still arrived that same night to take a look at the problem. I assumed I would have to wait at least a day or maybe several days but they came practically right away. They've helped me to learn more about my plumbing and how to maintain it and they are quick and courteous. You absolutely cannot go wrong and I cannot recommend them enough!

I had a water pipe leak, and the water for all of my tenants had to be shut off. I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to fix it the same day since this occurred in the evening, but John was able to meet me within an hour. He diagnosed and fixed the problem for a reasonable price. He worked quickly and was professional, and I didn't feel like he was trying to take advantage of this emergency situation. We could not have been happier with the work of Gary two weeks ago -- on a Sunday, no less-- with our broken kitchen faucet and valves. His work was outstanding, and for a great rate he even snaked out one of our mostly clogged bathroom sinks. We loved his work so much, we called again for help with a broken shower diverter from the tub to the shower. John and Simon came out almost immediately today, and repaired it in minutes!!! (So much for my DIY efforts watching YouTube videos...)

5 PM Saturday afternoon our kitchen sink backs up. We call Gary at 5:30 PM and he said he would be at our house between 6 and 8 PM. He then called me at 6:15 PM to say he was on his way. He arrived at 6:30 and proceeded to unclog out drain. Gary worked hard for over 2 hours until the drain was clear. He did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price on a Saturday evening. Plus he is super clean and an all-around great person. Thanks to Yelp, I was so glad that I found Gary and will recommend him to all my friends and neighbors. Thank You Gary!

Gary is a prime example of how customer service should be done. Polite, punctual, professional and clean.

Given it was a fairly straightforward job and I am located pretty close, he was able to show up in less than 30 minutes from the time I called him. On a Friday at midnight, no less. He gave me a great price over the phone, replaced a faulty shower cartridge in no time, re-caulked the faucet cover and left it looking better than it did when he arrived. They've definitely earned a customer for life and Gary deserves it!

Can't recommend Socal Plumbing & Rooter more highly, unless Yelp adds more stars. Our water heater died one night and needed to be fixed immediately. We found Gary through the good graces of George at G&R Appliances, who not only recommended Gary but called him for us. Gary came out at 7:00 p.m. (a rarity in itself), diagnosed the problem in about 30 seconds, and fixed it in short order for a very fair price. A week later, when I had a question about the heater, he came right over and explained it -- at no charge.

This guy is a treasure. Based on these two experiences, we will not only use him again but will go out of our way to recommend him to others.
