So I should've left a review after the first experience with these guys. I'm not really into reviewing people but when you come across a small business that is professional, communicative, and straight forward... I got to give props. Fair pricing. Good, clean work. And integrity.

They trouble shot our sewer line and installed a clean out the first time. Then installed a toilet and reseated another one that we've had issues with for years. Good attention to leaving a clean work area.
Today was a smaller job. But prompt response and again took care of things smoothly. And on a holiday weekend. I have no hesitation recommending So-Cal 1.

Federico has worked twice at my home, and yes, you can buy peace of mind at a reasonable price. First, there was a leak in my home's sewer line to the main line in the street. After a camera inspection, the exact location of the break was found. The pipe was replaced using a pipe bursting method, and the clean out near my home was replaced. Most recently, Federico located and repaired a leak in the pipe from an upstairs bathroom. His work is minimally invasive, because he knows how plumbing is configured after a quick assessment. Both times, Federico arrived quickly, and worked diligently. I trust this company to fix any plumbing issue because Federico is extremely knowledgeable, technically adept, and honest.

Home was built in 1979. Builder instead cheap material to cut down on cost and unfortunately that caused issues later down the line. Had a leaking toilet downstairs and unfortunately the flange that the builder installed was completely disintegrated and the toliet was basically not attached to anything.

Federico came and installed a brand new toilet and flange for us, which had to include some jackhammer to get rid of some of the old concrete to remove and install the new flange properly.

He was very respectful to us and our home.

I HIGHLY recommend So-Cal 1. The main sewer line had separations. I did my due diligence and talked to several plumbers. Federico from So-Cal 1 was great. He was friendly and professional. He carefully explained everything and gave me a few options to repair it. He was on time for every appointment. We decided to repair the sewer line using a liner. Once completed, they spent the time to show me the liner with a camera. Everything looked great! If you need a plumber, I HIGHLY recommend them!

My wife and I were taking a short trip to San Deigo, but we were having some drainage issues. I thought I had a simple clog so I called out a large company in the area. I figured it would be a quick and easy fix, so I left my adult daughter at home to let the technician in. They came out and said I had a clogged main, leaking pipes under the house, and a flooded crawl space. I was looking at north of $25k. They sent out a restoration company to clear out the flood without my authorization, so I stopped everything until we could make our way back. There was leaking, but the crawl space was not flooded, a restoration company was certainly not needed. I searched for a plumber and Federico came up. He showed up Saturday afternoon and stayed until 8pm getting our drain cleared enough so we could use the restroom and showers. The next day he was there with his crew at 9am. They confirmed I had a clogged main and a few of my 50+-year-old pipes were leaking. Federico provided different plans, shared information on what could happen if I didn't make some of the repairs and helped walk us through financing. It was a large bill (but less than half of the big company), it was a lot of work, but in the end, it was necessary and made the most sense for our situation. They were professional, on time and cleaned up any messes, but I think most of all they provided honest information that made my wife and I feel at ease.

Federico and his team did an amazing job.

For background, we have a house that was built in 1955, so our waste piping was degrading, and all of the water pipe to the house and routing through the house were old galvanized pipe. For those that do not know, waste piping will degrade after a long period of time. Also, back then, pressure piping (hot water and cold water) was made out of galvanized steel. If not replaced, it will eventually burst, and cause additional damage to the rest of the home.

We knew it was coming and asked for an estimate. With previous projects, I knew that his team was meant for the job. We asked for the drainage piping to be replaced, pressure revised to PEX piping. And upgrade the water heater from tank to tankless (higher efficiency). Was also added an ice maker line and tub replacement.

After confirmation of work (maybe on a Sunday), Federico and his team were able to start that Monday. During this time, we found out that the pressure piping from the house to the city had to be replaced, which was a reasonable amount added. We also had puddles of water and waste below the kitchen piping. So we lucked out they were able to get that fixed before it got worse.

They got the entire job done within a week! So fast! They provided their trash removal, and got rid of the water heater. They also removed any exposed piping that we didn't need anymore. The only thing that pushed it was the city wanted drawings for inspection. We also had to wait for the piping to get inspected. (FYI: inspection is required when getting city permits to do projects on your house, so it's standard). So the city was a minor draw back, but not too big of a deal.

The team did an amazing job, and all the piping looks nice and great. They only required a few holes to get the job done, but they told us beforehand. Some side notes that makes this company better than most: 1) Federico explains exactly what you and your house needs to make it functional, and work. 2) They don't cut corners, and are completely honest. 3) very communicative. 4) always on time. 5) very efficient. 6) always professional.

If we need more work done, we'll definitely be calling them again. We HIGHLY recommend this company.

We needed a new water heater and some ground pipes replaced. Also, we wanted a water conditioner for the whole house. Federico and his team provided excellent communication, a sense of humor, and quality workmanship. The price was lower than a local competitor, but the work was top notch. I requested a quote for to replace my pipes and bot o ly did he and his team come through, they did a great job. My house is on the older side so the team went in for 3 day the first time replaced galvanized pipesas well as installing a tankless water heater and the main pipe that connects to the city. In order to assure my house would be fine they came back to replace out going pipe. They did a great job in removing, hauling and replacing all pipes. I'm a highly satisfied customer who would recommend SO-CAL 1 PLUMBING to any one who wants a job done well and effiecient.
The crew was very respectful and on time and a job that was told was going to take a day and a half was completed in just one day.
