So happy with the levels of service and how quick they were on a Saturday!
I will definitely keep them in mind. I called another company to schedule a service appointment and even after no show/no call, I called Smart Rooter and was told a couple hours ( I called on a Saturday at 4pm). They got a Technician out here within an hour!

Very quick response and extremely reasonable quote. I called at about 6 pm and Sam was able to be there around 8 to check out my slightly emergency issue. Sam is actually still here in my home making repairs to my bathroom,.. I'm so impressed by the level of professionalism and honesty!! Wow,.. As a single woman it's so easy to get taken advantage of,. I've had plumbers come out to do way less and charge me twice what he is!!!

I had Gotelli's out this morning and was charged 100 to tell me that they couldnt snake out the bathtubs that it was the sewer line,.. after looking online and checking reviews I called Sam not only was it NOT the sewer line (which Gotelli's didn't even check) He had it snaked out in just a few minutes,.. BOOM, just like that!! And talk about reasonably priced OMG,. I asked him to stay and fix a couple of other leaks,.. haha!! He graciously said Yes and again gave me a fair price!!

I am very happy with the service we received from Sam! We were having hot water heater issues. A plumber we'd used before came out, made a very small adjustment to the gas value, and charged us $165.

Our problems continued. The hot water heater wouldn't shut off, water was running non-stop out the overflow tube, etc. We Google'd the situation and my wife moved her car out of the garage. We didn't want to lose it in an explosion.

We called Smart Rooter & Plumbing first thing in the AM and Sam was here right away. He began by asking me basic questions - something the gentleman who'd been here the day before failed to do. Sam carefully explained what was going on and why. Then he told us how he could fix it.

Then he did.

I asked Sam to look at some other projects here and he gave me a detailed quote. He likes to use quality parts - a choice our previous plumber didn't give us. This is important! If you plan to move, or you're going to flip the house, maybe plastic values are OK. We're here for the long-term, so we'd prefer high-quality parts that are going to last.

Here's the bottom line. Plumbers aren't cheap. But an expert is a whole lot cheaper than someone who is in a hurry and doesn't communicate well.

I found Smart Rooter in an emergency to fix some blocked outdoor drains, and Sam came out right away. He snaked through the lines to fix the issue, and was very friendly and easy to work with. No ""scammy"" feeling at all, and the price actually came in lower than estimated. He's a professional and my go-to for plumbing needs from now on. Support a local business and call Sam, especially if you're in a bind and need it fixed quickly!

After PG&E abruptly shut off my gas service late Friday evening due to a gas leak, it was imperative I get someone out to my house the following Saturday morning. I just moved into my newly purchased home 5 days previous, and as a single parent to a 3 yr old I needed to make sure the job was handled swiftly, efficiently and cost effectively. After being turned down by several plumbers, I called Sam and he said he would be to my home within 2hrs. He arrived early, was super informative and handled the job for me at a good price. Thanks to Sam my daughter and I have our gas back on. I will definitely call Sam for any of my future plumbing needs.
