Peter responded quickly and called when he was on his way. His name was on his shirt to identify him and he immediately gave me his business card and a free good quality pen. Direct TV service men make note! They show up with no ID at all! Peter was very professional, but pleasant and didn't mind my silly dogs who are nosey and love attention. He was efficient, cleaned up after himself and did a great job. The final price was what he had quoted me. I will definitely call him again the next time I need a plumber. Peter was very friendly, professional and fast. I sent him an email late Friday night not expecting a reply but to my surprise he replied and stated he would be able to come out the next day between 12-2. He called when he was on his way and arrived at 1230. When he arrived he was already prepared with a mask and shoe covers without me even having to ask, which I greatly appreciated. It only took him 10 mins to fix my issue and his prices were extremely affordable. I will definitely call Peter again for any future plumbing issues I may encounter and would 100% recommend him to all my friends and family. Thank you Peter. You're the best!

Had an emergency with our hot water heater. Over 13 years old and it just broke down one morning. Called Smart Plumbing and had suggestions and quotes within an hour and a new gas 50 gallon tank at a great price installed later that day with a one year agreement for Peter to return for any issues and a 6 year manufacturer warranty on top of that. He took out the old tank and disposed of it and installed the new one for us and then reviewed everything he did. Peter thank you so much for your help, advice and hard work. In addition he drove all the way back out to our house when I thought I smelled gas just to ease my nerves. Turned out to be nothing but he was polite and thoughtful and made absolutely sure there were no leaks or errors. Would definitely recommend him for plumbing needs and I'm sure we will call again should any other plumbing issues arise!

Peter was fast and efficient at replacing my kitchen sink faucet and even tried to help me troubleshoot some other issues in my house that i needed addressed at a later date . Peter also called back quickly to give me a quote . Will use again.

I called Smart Plumbing the morning of 1/18/2021 left a message with the receptionist. Peter called me back within an hour and asked what was I experiencing. After listening, he responded I can help you with that. Peter gave me a window of 12-2pm and arrived 12:04. Peter want me to see him without a mask from the bottom of my front porch steps so I would know who was coming in my home. Presented me with a card and pen of his business. Peter then placed his mask and booties (shoe) on and entered my home. We talked through the events of my issue (timing, what I've done to try and restore, questioned if any other problems, and what exactly was I experiencing). He quickly started to share best practices with me on how to utilized my kitchen sink (disposal) to ensure it operates optimally. He explained what was causing my slow drain, had a more thorough look, and begin to talk me through what needed to take place. He gave the quote for repair and efficiently completed the work. No mess, no fuss, just good wholesome work. I would recommend Peter to help with your plumbing needs.

I consider myself lucky to have found a reliable, honest, and affordable neighborhood plumbing company. Peter has helped in a number of areas, including resolving water pressure issues and replacing my water heater. Peter always arrives on time, explains how things work, is up front with the costs of repairs, and provides honest advice and feedback. Also, he is very thorough in his work and resolves issues quickly. During the last visit, I was impressed with Peter's initiative to use proper PPE in the house and even in the garage. Peter was quick to respond to my inquiry when we discovered a challenging leak in our bathroom. He arranged a time for the following morning, was on time, and quickly diagnosed our issue. He took the time to educate us on the issues and needed repairs and did a great job for a great price. I think Pete & Smart Plumbing will be our go to plumber from now on!

I called Smart Plumbing to see if they could re-route copper pipes from the floor to the wall for a double vanity in a guest bathroom. Peter came the next day. He gave me a 2 hour arrival window and was here well within that timeframe. He's friendly and knowledgeable and got the job done pretty quickly. He came back the following day to complete the job once we had done some sheet rock work. I really don't have any way to run a comparison as far as price. Seemed a bit high but I feel he provided a quality service. Great job and I would highly recommend him.

Peter was able to give me an online quote in less than an hour for two problems. Although planned for next morning, he had a cancellation and called me up. I just bought my house so 2 things turned into a few since I had him here. Up front with costs as he went and cleaned up after himself. Also showed me where the main shut off valve was located. Good to know. I highly recommend.

I requested the work via the Yelp app at about 3am, which is when we noticed a leak in our garage ceiling. He was available that same day and arrived on time. He spent about 5 minutes just asking me questions to diagnose the issue, before he started any work, which I appreciated. He explained the process to me as he did the work and made sure he pointed problem areas. He was very thorough in checking all possible causes. He even went a step further and walked my backyard to see if he noticed anything odd regarding the septic tank...which was completed unrelated to the call. There was a $39 service fee, which he informed me of before he arrived. He replaced a bathtub overflow and had to pull off some damaged sheetrock in the garage ceiling to diagnose and test the repair. The charge was $90 so I paid a total of $129. I'd assumed the service fee would go towards the repair, which is common experience for me, so it was a surprise when it was itemized as a separate charge from the repair work. However, he was so thorough and accommodating that I felt the $129 was well earned. If work and service were average, I would have gave a 4 star rating. My only issue was that he did not wear a mask. I made sure I had a mask on and was aware of my distance. With covid, wearing a mask to customer's home is an additional courtesy that I think all service techs need to adopt. I did not take off a star for that, as it is not a direct reflection of the work and would normally not be an issue, if we were not dealing with this crisis. The leak has not returned, service was great, he made sure to replace his shoe covers each time before entering the house, he engaged me in an unrelated matter and I did not feel overcharged. I would use again but with the expectation that he would perform the work in mask, IF we are still dealing with covid.
